Great little bay for day trip. The cabin experience was unique to this area. The bay view and local geocaching was great. Will return in warmer weather.

The park is cute enough, but was flooded (14 ft above normal). We are kayakers, but didn't really want to get out on the flooded waters for safety reasons. We are also hikers, but there's not much of that to do in southern Arkansas, compared to Central and North Arkansas. We are also campers, but with the flooded site we chose to keep heading north before finding a camping spot for the night. That being said, the ranger at the visitor center was so incredibly nice. We had a great conversation with him about the park. Maybe we can visit it again once the waters go down.

Beautiful... Beautiful park. The cabins have full fledged facilities. We have a great time here during Christmas time. I wonder how beautiful it would be in fall time!

Nice, small park. Nice looking cabins and boat slips to rent. Not a large park, but nice on the river.

Giving this place 5 stars and we didn't even stay there, just visited. Will be planning a trip to one of the campsites soon. When it's cooler weather or maybe just get one of the cabins.Visitors center was really nice with friendly/helpful staff. The park itself doesn't seem very big, but it's laid out well and very clean. River access looks very appealing for fishing.Very impressed with the place. Obviously, I'm writing a review without ever staying here.

This is our 3rd or 4th time to visit Moro Bay State Park in the past 7 years and we love it! We use the RV park. The sites are paved, fairly level, have full hook ups, a fire ring, sturdy metal picnic tables, a tent area, a lantern pole, and are nicely placed so you have plenty of room. They are on the Ouachita River. There is an air conditioned bath house if you need it. Nice easy walking trails are available along with a kids playground, volleyball net, boat, kayak, and bike rentals. You will love it! Verizon cell service is great. AT&T service is horrible.

This state park is a great stopping point if you are on a road trip. It has great pads and hookups for rv's. The banks are pretty steep, so fishing may be a bit difficult. There is a fun park for the kids and the facilities are clean.

Absolutely loved this place. Got one of the 5 cabins (ADA one). Interior was WOW! Two bedroom, 2 bath on either side of the open kitchen living space. Screened deck with table and seating for 6 plus 2 additional lounge chairs. Fully stocked kitchen but a couple of items are slightly past replacing. The couple we were with took the handicapped room. They loved the room and easy access to the bathroom. Biggest problem was the mattress it was Definitely needing to be replaced. But, other than those things this is a place I plan on returning to.

The staff is friendly and helpful. The history is well preserved. The hiking trail is a 3/8 of a mile, short enough and clean enough to ride a bike. The office has a small supply of tackle, snacks, trinkets, and more. Be advised that it is next to the Ouchita River. They seem to get flooded often. Often enough, the office and cabins are on stilts.Restrooms: They have public restrooms that are kept clean.

we have enjoyed our quiet time here in cabin 5 and was able to connect with old friends from El Dorado. Great cabin and great views. WI-FI was mostly good also. Beds were very comfortable

This is a quiet and beautiful park where you can enjoy fishing, kayaking, or just relaxing while watching the deer graze close by. The bathhouse was one of the cleanest I've seen and the park itself is very well maintained.

Will be an annual for us from now on!Playground: Playground is nice if you have kids!Restrooms: Very clean open to the campers should mother nature strike!Dog-friendliness: Pick up your dogs poop other than that our dogs love it!

If your looking for peace and quiet, this is the place. Cabin is nice and clean, it's stocked with everything you need. The only reason I'm giving a 4 instead of 5 star rating is because the jacuzzi tub did NOT work and the grill was rotted out on one side. This is a get away from it all type of place, a place to just slow down and sit on the porch and listen/watch wildlife.

Last minute getaway before school starts. Checked into cabin #1 (only cabin available if traveling with a dog) and it was beyond what I was expecting. The cabins are well maintained and my family of 5 fit very comfortable. It comes with a full kitchen so we made the 30 minute trip to Walmart to stock up.At the state park we rented a little boat and cruised the river. We stopped at a little sand bar and the kids swam and played in the sand. Tried our hand at fishing and walked away with a few small fish for the grill. The fish are out there if you are looking to spend the day just fishing. Ranger Corbin was super sweet and helpful.Overall if you are looking for a place to just getaway and enjoy the quiet to just relax, this is the place. The kids kids had a good time outdoors and were tired from the day that they just showered, ate, and went to sleep. Barely even got on their phones (WINNING).

We thoroughly enjoyed our visit. The park was relaxing and quiet. Our cabin was clean, spacious, and a fantastic place to spend our time. We enjoyed swimming in the river; even though there isn't a swimming area, we were told we could swim by the ferry launch. Make sure you stop at the gas station at the intersection of hwy 600 and 63. The burgers there are excellent.

My family enjoyed being at Moro Bay. We only wished we could had a boat ride. The pavilion is very nice, spacious, and clean. The proximity to the restroom is excellent. I will be back there soon. I want to rent a cabin next.

Moro Bay State Park is really clean and kept up. It has a nice campground there and the visitors center is nice. We plan to go back soon. There is an old ferry you can walk on and a tug boat. There is places to picnic and a playground for the kids. Dogs are welcomed, but please keep them on a leash.

The cabin was great, one of the cleanest places we've ever stayed and beautiful views from the screened porch on top of that. Staff was super friendly and park interpreter Haylea was the best! She had fun activities planned the whole weekend! There were hikes, boat tours, dutch oven cooking and a scavenger hunt...oh and Arby the alligator! Park was very well manicured and saw alot of wildlife. Definitely worth the stay!!

Very friendly and helpful staff. I was super impressed with how nice the cabin was. There is plenty of room and a nice screened in back porch overlooking the water. I would encourage the oark to shorten the cords on the blinds so that when they are raised they aren't a hazard for smaller children, but that's just the anxious mama in me and we don't have smaller children so it wasn't an issue for us. Also, we were looking forward to the trails, but they appear to be under water alomg with the boat launch area and I wish that we would have been notified when we booked or maybe an email if it happened between when we booked and when we arrived. They have a nice park with a slide, seesaw, zip line, and bounce pad. They also have rentals at the store in the park that rent kayaks, bikes, paddle boats, etc. We plan on checking those out today.

Really nice park. On the 1/2 Mile drive into the park we were greeted by a half dozen deer and I swear one winked at me. We checked in, staff was very helpful. Not only do they have a nice pamphlet of the park itself they have a display of pamphlets for the other state parks in Arkansas( great idea). They have kayak, boat and boat slip rentals. Perfect place for being on the water as the Moro bay and Raymond lake both join the Ouachita river on the park grounds so you have plenty to explore. They also have live bait for the anglers. After check in we drove to our site just in time to witness a beautiful healthy red fox meander across the meadow. The Rv sites are the best I’ve seen. Asphalt pad bordered by cement slab for picnic table and a good size stoned area with lantern post and fire pit. You also have what appears to another 10/10 bordered stone area if you would like to pitch a tent or set up a canopy. Water, sewer , and electric are perfectly placed so when you park you don’t need extra hoses to reach them. The best ( and hardest to find) part about the site is that after I backed in I turned on my Level mate pro and I was perfectly level. 15 states and this was the first place where that has happened to us. The state park in another state that we just came from was 10.5 low in the rear which is why we left and came to Moro Bay.The grounds are well kept and everything is clean. They also have the old ferry and tug to explore which was a nice plus. We really enjoyed our stay here and look forward to coming back when we can stay longer. Thank you Arkansas and the Moro Bay staff, you are part of a great park and your hard work does not go unnoticed.

Moro bay is a great place. Not only is the park great but the cabins and camping spots. I stayed at cabin 1 and it was very clean and the provided a lot. I do recommend bringing food as the closest Walmart is 30 min away in El Dorado. There is a little shop where you check in, where you can get a few things. But overall this place was great.Playground: There is a playground for kids by the camping spots.Restrooms: 2 locations for a public restroom in the park.Dog-friendliness: Plenty of trails and places to walk. And cabin 1 is dog friendly.Picnic area: Lots of places to have a picnic that are well-maintained.

Clean bathhouse, well maintained campsites, cabins, perfect for fishing, bike and boat rentals, kid friendly, meeting hall, and helpful staff. It's a short drive from downtown El Dorado with dining, shopping, and live entertainment (Murphy Arts District). Relax at the campsites or explore El Dorado. It's a great park.Playground: Geared for children older than toddlerRestrooms: Clean and well maintainedDog-friendliness: On leash dog friendly (as always please clean up after your pets)Picnic area: Near the camp store/office. All grounds well kept
