If I couldn’t would give this place 10 stars ⭐️! We stayed in Jasper on a vacation and we ate every meal here breakfast and supper! The service was amazing and the food was first class all the way! The breakfast was delicious and large portions, got to try the biscuits and chocolate gravy 😉! Everything we ate was good and the building is full of old history! They have a well stocked salad bar as well as a gift shop. Please stop in and eat here you won’t be sorry, we enjoyed every meal and the staff were so friendly!

We were definitely hungry by the time we rolled into Jasper and of course this is THE motorcycling restaurant for the region.First off if you see a lot of motorcycles in town do not expect a fast in and out.We were there to relax because we had already been riding 4 hours before we got there.Like most places nowadays they seemed short-handed but the waitress would acknowledge us immediately and every time she came running past would let us know she is coming which of course is always a good thing. One of the good things about sitting having to wait is we were able to see the whole menu but most importantly watch these other dishes come out and I actually changed my mind and got a grilled chicken salad because it looked so large and delicious.Absolutely fantastic atmosphere, the center of downtown, great service, nostalgic, and good food.Have it as a definite yes to go back.Oh yeah and remember the shamrock loop rides from that area is more abundant than most men have time.We did 900 miles on this trip and didn't get to see but just a little bit of the area. This will be the center hub next time we go Moto camping in that area.

We ate lunch here. I had a Ruben sandwich and my wife had a chicken strip sandwich with potato salad. I liked my Ruben but I must say it was very greasy. The chicken strips were good but the potato salad was not that great. The service was good and the location was convenient. Prices were a little high for a sandwich. Hence 4 stars. Still I would come back. Recommended.

The Ozark Sandwitch was good, but the Ozark Cookie Sundae was where it was at. I was told it was the top dessert, and they were not kidding.I was almost sad I didn't just order it and a glass of milk instead.(Pic is missing the cherry and nuts. I ordered mine without)Staff was super nice and easy going even with the chaos that was the day I went. Plan to go again when I am back in Jasper.

This was a fun place on the square to eat.Atmosphere was busy and constantly moving people in and out. We came at 2 and there was still a wait.Food....I got the burger with hand cut fries. By the time I added cheese, bacon, and the up charge for the hand cut fries...I had a $18 burger in a small town cafe. But....it was salty, meaty, and good. Patty wasn't thing, it was a good thick amount. My friend got the grilled chicken. Salad bar comes with entrees.Alot of people were ordering shakes, so you might want to grab one of those if you were a shake lover.Service...I gave this 3 stars because we had to wait for the hostess to erase and write and erase and write and organize her hostess stand to find out there was a wait. But she was nice and told us two in front. We elected to sit at the bar. I highly DO NOT recommend this. They were setting everything on the bar in front of us like straws and then filling the straws. I feel like the bar top was more of a server station than a place for you to sit at. Our server did her job, but wasn't above and beyond. So for me, that's a 3 star. It meets standards, but not a 5 star above and beyond.Looks like they might have bands in the evenings on one section. There were 3 sections to the restaurant. They have breakfast and I read a sign that in 2017, they were voted one of the top restaurants in America for biscuits and gravy. So ....if you are a breakfast lover...might want to check this out.Vegetarian options: They have a vegetarian burger!!!

Been here a few times, on this trip we came during peak season for tree colors and the place was packed at lunch time. Once we got a table we were quickly met by our server and started the process of ordering. I had the bacon cheeseburger and chips. The cheeseburger was excellent, seasoned well with great bacon. I also had the peach cobbler for dessert and it was very good, maybe a little dense but very good. We will always stop here while driving through.

Driving through the Ozarks and saw Man vs Food made a stop at the Ozark Cafe. We had to check it out. Glad we did. Very cool little restaurant. Our server was Rylee Ray and she was amazing and very tentative. We started with the chicken tenders and they were delicious and juicy. Then the Volcano Burger arrived and it was one of the best burgers I’ve ever had. If you like cheese and beef, get here somehow and slip into nirvana while savoring every bite. You will get to enjoy an amazing drive along 7 as well. Win Win! Come out and support local restaurants and avoid chains. I highly recommend this place!

Stopped in for the Root-beer Floats but stayed for an early dinner. Wasn’t even planning on eating there until we saw some of the food being brought out. We were pleasantly surprised how good everything was and the prices were great too. Look at the size of that Chicken Fried Pork Tenderloin that could serve 2 maybe even 3 people well.Everyone was super friendly and our service was great.Did I mention the HOME MADE ICE CREAM!!!! 🍨 😩 ❤️

The cabin we rented down the road from Jasper had a copy of the menu for The Ozark Cafe. It looked amazing so we tried it out... and then we ate there at least 4 times on our 5 day vacation! They have been in business since 1909 and every thing on the menu that we tried was absolutely DELICIOUS. All of the staff were very friendly and my son has said he will never be able to eat another hamburger again because it would not compare. (A tip: order the buffalo burger - no longer on the menu but if you order they will make it. Deep fried hamburger dipped in buffalo sauce topped with cheese and house ranch - your life will be changed forever!)

Stopped here while on vacation. Food was amazing. Best fried mushrooms I've ever had. Pickles were great too, as well as their "house" sauce/dressing. I wish I could remember the servers name, because she was also amazing!Forgot to add, potato salad was great as well.

After a long day of hiking waterfalls this place really hit the spot. Food and staff were amazing. It has the feel of both a hole-in-the-wall restaurant and a semi-discovered famous eatery. Girlfriend recommended this place because her and her son had eaten here before and had a good experience and today was no exception. I ordered the deep fried burger (yes you read that right) and had some modifications (no pickle or onion, add cheese and bacon) with the curly fries. And it did not disappoint. Loved the crunch the battered and fried crust gave it. It was so good I had several bites down before I thought about taking a picture to share. Gf ordered the double chocolate banana shake, and it was super rich and decadent! Her son ordered the Buffalo burger, and she had the chopped steak. Starting with cheese sticks and fried pickles, we were all miserably full and happy before we left. Carter was our server and was extremely pleasant and helpful, we didn't want for anything. I would highly recommend this place to anyone.

Today was my first visit to Jasper, this restaurant was recommended and I'm thankful I took it because the food and service was top notch. I had the BLT and my fiancee had the black and blue burger. 1/2 plate of fresh fries. There was no room for dessert. Total was $34.00 for two during lunch. Plenty of seating. Fast and friendly waitress. Already planning to come again.

Was told to stop here by some fellow van travelers during an Ozark road trip. Awesome environment. Our waitress was so nice. Their breaded mushrooms are a must-try. They were perfect. And the fries were great too.

Best place to eat in Jasper! Ate here every day for the last 3 days of our visit to the area and the service was always excellent! Staff very friendly and thankful for the business. Off season so it wasn’t very crowded but the food and salad bar was delicious! Didn’t go wrong with anything we ordered breakfast or dinner. All food was great! Hands down the only place to eat while in the area!

Great place, good homestyle food, large portions. The chicken fried steak like mom used to make, but a thicker piece. Went back for breakfast before a hike and was just as good! Really good and as expected huge blueberry pancakes. The side of fried ham was a taste from the past, nothing like the over processed stuff served most places. Loved the nostalgic decorations, especially the Lil Abner mural that reminded me of a trip to Dogpatch as a kid. If you are in the area, stop by... a breath of fresh air in our cookie-cutter world. ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️

My girlfriend and I went for a motorcycle ride into Jasper and decided to stop at the Jasper Cafe for a bite to eat. I haven't eaten here in 7-8 years . We decided to try one of their burgers and it was delicious and the waitress we had was extremely attentive and very interactive , she had us both laughing and had fun, we both loved her. The cafe was clean and the atmosphere was inviting, wasn't busy at all . Definitely recommend eating at the Jasper Cafe if ever in the area ! Thanks for such wonderful food and the great service ! 😁

We mostly had burgers. I had the Volcano burger, my friend had the Excalibur (a burger between 2 grilled cheese sandwiches) amd husband had the chili cheese burger and loaded fries. Only one tried dessert, a fudge sunday.Everything was delicious.

THE place to feed your Hiker Hunger! I ordered a Patty Melt, which was a very thick burger between 2 large slices of grilled Rye bread, smothered in melted cheese, sautéed red onions and Ozark sauce. With this I upgraded to the natural hand cut fries, which were exceptionally crispy and delicious! The portions were large, the service was great, and the restaurant was very clean. Couldn't ask for a better experience!

It's so good, we stayed nearby and dined here 4 times in one weekend. This place is wonderful and absolutely comforting to have nearby when you're adventuring in the mountains or passing through. The food is fantastic and the people are friendly. The cheese volcano burger or the pork tenderloin are both great hiking fuel. Loaded baked potatoes and a full salad bar, too. Definitely consider the chocolate soda float or the skillet brownie if you're wanting dessert.

Great experience, service, food and atmosphere. Went for a day drive and stopped for lunch, and glad we did. They have the best fried mushrooms that we have ever had. These are not the frozen variety, but rather fresh and huge. Chicken sandwiches, burgers, soups and more, and it was all excellent. Servers were attentive and friendly. Overall a great experience, so if your in the area, slow down, take the time to stop in, you will not be disappointed.

Fantastic little joint in downtown Jasper. The staff was very friendly and efficient. The place was clean and the salad bar was pretty good too. ALL of our food came out hot and fresh. Tasted even better than it looked. The country fried steak was fork tender with zero gristle. Curly fries were perfect. Had an old fashioned root beer float for dessert. Be sure to save room for something from their famous soda fountain and don't forget to check out the wide selection of tee shirts and stuff in the little shop to the side. Will be trying the breakfast when we come back!
