Kroger in Jacksonville Arkansas.Finished My shopping,. Went to checkout only self checkout open. Asked if register was going to open was told not at this time. Left cart in isle and excited the store. No longer will shop at Kroger. Will use Edwards or Harp's.

I understand businesses wanting to cut cost.. but they have gone a little extreme and now don't have any registered nothing but self-checkout. That may be good for some people, but I myself do not want and will not go any place that does not have a register with someone behind it. As much as prices are in the store you would think that could afford a person behind the register.

If this was a few years back, I would have given this store the highest rating available. No more. Many items I use to buy, have been discontinued. That’s frustrating. Lately there’s only one checker and he’s showing customers how to self checkout. I saw on TV today where Krogers is going to change over to total self checkout. With the price of food, I don’t think I should have to self checkout. If and when this happens, I’ll definitely change stores and go to Walmart.

I called to make sure the money center would be open and was assured it was open until 7 this evening. When I show up 5 minutes later the spastic old lady with white hair tells me she's closing down because she has other things to do. Very frustrating and a total waste of my time.

Great staff. Always friendly to me. I can almost always find what I am looking for! Great meat Dept. They will cut your steaks just how you want them cut. Dairy looks better than it's ever looked everything is fully stocked. Fresh veggies and fruit always amazing to me.

Tonight after work I stopped at this location around 1830 hours. I knew the Deli was probably closed but went anyway to get my favorite sliced Turkey.I approached a young lady who was working outside of the Deli and asked if they were closed? To my surprise, she gave me a huge smile and said, “No Sir “, what would you like?Kaitlyn has the best attitude I’ve ever encountered at a Kroger location. She took pride in her job and went above and beyond to provide great customer service! She even changed her gloves before fulfilling my order!To the management team, please consider this young lady for advancement!

1st let me start by saying I make plenty of money throughout the month but sometimes I end up struggling well one of The Times that I was struggling I went in with my last $12 to get a few groceries the girl at the register was very frustrated because I was counting change very rude to me and said that she could not accept change then she called management up who said that they couldn't accept the world change this place was a joke

Highest gas price around. We live nearby and this is the cleanest option and also the most expensive. $3.39 in sherwood but $3.79 here.If you like paying 40 cents more for gas than anywhere else then this place is for you.

I came in looking for a specific deal. The 5 for $19.95 meat deal. They didn't have a single pack of it, they were completely out and the staff acted like they didn't know what I was talking about. I am gonna try back today.

VICTORIA at the Jacksonville, AR Kroger is a true asset to your company. She is consistently happy, friendly, kind, professional and aware of her surroundings. Always apologizing for any wait time. She makes shopping here a pleasant experience and she is also very fast at checking and organizes the food products before bagging. She truly cares about her job and her customers. I truly hope she is recognized as being an excellent employee because she deserves it!!

The staff is friendly. The managers are always around helping and working. It's just everytime I buy something off the self its expired. I bought oatmeal that expires last year. Dip that expired two months previous. I told the cashier every dip in the refrigerator section was expired and he didn't care.

Well, I went in and was immediately greeted with a lovely and well rounded staff. As I scurried off to the baking section, I reminisced on a time where I too worked in a similar establishment. It brought back so many wonderful memories of when me and my co-workers used to sneak into the beer cooler and well... You know the rest. I enjoyed the coming together of so many cultures. In Kroger, everyone is important.

Went in on a Monday mid-afternoon to see selection and grab a few things to make it thru the week. Store was pretty picked over but the general selection was good. Produce department is very small.I don't have my own Kroger card but planned on getting one this trip. There were two lanes open and hardly anyone checking out so I assumed this wouldn't be an issue. I greeted the cashier and he rang up my groceries then asked about my Kroger card. I told him I would like to get one today and he told me he was out of cards. I asked if it was the whole store and he said no just his register but the girl next to him may have some. She was in the process of checking out another customer so I moved out of the way to wait and let him ask. Then his mannerisms changed and he again told me my total with an attitude. There still wasn't anyone in line behind me... I told him I would like to get a card today so I could get the deals and begin earning fuel points. So he told me to go to the front desk and get one from there. Which I probably would have done but no one was there. I asked him again if he could go grab me a card and he again got an attitude and told me his register was out. At this point I had enough and told them they could keep the groceries and started to walk out... As I was walking out the door the shift or manager came over to see what was going on... Hopefully they resolved the issue for future customers which I won't be.

Whenever I go in I need to check the expiration dates on things. Multiple times I've picked up items well past expired and one item was even over a year past.Their produce section is usually empty by the afternoon so good luck getting a good selection after work.They have gotten better with their meat selection but in the past I have gotten rancid meat that I purchased the day before.Most of the people working register are great and friendly. There are a couple that ignore you while they talk to their coworkers. Don't ask how I'm doing today if you immediately turn around and finish your conversation but at least check my groceries so I can leave.Honestly if there were a closer grocery store I'd go there. I only come here if I want to avoid Walmart.

Had to stand and wait for 10 min then go ask the lady KAYLA at the service desk if she could get another checker mind you they only had 1 checker own and it was the 15 items our less and she had 7 people in her line I had a full cart and there was at least 5- 8 other people waiting to check out. This is a big problem with this store and how they bag just throwing everything in together

Didn't find everything I wanted to...some of the produce was of limited quantity, and some overly ripe. Waited in line forever, it was slow...two different customers ahead of me didn't have barcodes on their items and cashier had to go get them. I was in the quick check line...bad choice...spent longer in there that I really wanted.

Too many ppl and selection was poor on most itemsI was looking for. I had to buy items I needed but the brands were not my typical choice and more expensive. Girl in the Deli was slow took her nearly 15 minutes to prepare item for me and another customer. Overall good place to shop but not the best experience I've ever hadThanks in Advance,Angelo Borrero

Kroger's been pretty good to my family so far when we needed our check cashed Kroger was there they could do it when other stores couldn't, when I needed my medicine filled Krogers was there when other pharmacist wasn't !.So overall my ratings I give them 5!

Lady that checked me out claim she put everything in grocery bag but i had one thing missing. So what she did with it i do not know. I have the ticket and it was paid for. She work in the deli department. Just make sure you put everything in bag like you claim. Thanks

Everything seemed to be moving along nicely. There were many registers open so the lines were not long. The service desk got my money orders done in record time.
