The store was well stocked with food items and was very clean. Friendly and helpful employees. A bit high priced, though. If you need non-food items there is a Dollar General across the street, and a Family Dollar a hall-block away.

Good ole down home grocery stores are hard to find. Bob's Food City feels like a grocery store. Everything you need is right here in your hometown grocery store, including fresh cooked and baked goods and hand cut meat.

Bob's is a great all-purpose grocery store. The variety of produce, frozen foods, and dry goods is outstanding. The service was excellent - such friendly folks!

Great store to stop at if you're driving through Mt Ida. I got a really pretty green coffee mug when I was there. They have Tshirts, plants, and tons of grocery items.

Small town local grocery store....On the plus side1) Very, very friendly & welcoming staff... a big plus.2) The "5 for $25" meat packs were a good dealOn the down side:1) Prices --- we've shopped at a number of small town grocery stores thru out Oklahoma and Arkansas.... the prices here were outrageously high, higher by far than we've seen anywhere else2) The chicken did not look good at all - looked pretty old, not fresh at all, and we did Not trust it - even at the "5 for $25" price.The rating is so low because of the outrageous prices.....and would be even lower except for the friendliness of the staff.

This is an awesome store. I counted 5 display cases of nice knives! There several on display in other places. A great selection of souvenirs, including some very cool shirts. I got a very nice tulip for my mom. They had basically everything you need for your awesome Arkansas adventure. Just down the street from the comfortable Royal Oaks Inn.

Nice Clean Full Service Grocery Store, when shopping here keep in mind that with it being the only grocery store in Mt. Ida that the Prices are Very High - May want to check out the Family Dollar or Dollar General to get better pricing on products you use most often.Staff was very nice and helpful but Pricing is Very High!!

Update: After I contacted the store about what happened, the manager/owner Stormy called me back and apologized. She said it shouldn’t have happened and invited us to come back so they can make it right.I’m not sure if a new policy will be put in place or the employee reprimanded/relieved of her position but I’m glad this issue can now be addressed company wide.—————————————————————Their prices are a little high compared to Tulsa but was expected since they’re the only grocery store in a tourist town. Cilla was our cashier and she was extremely rude but the employees on the floor were very kind and asked if we needed help finding anything.

Clean, very friendly and very sweet staff has clean bathrooms also wheelchair accessible and motorized instore vehicles for those who need them... Its a resort town and it being the only grocery store on the mountain has some items that are pricey and others good deals..but this friendly store has more welcoming smiles 😁😁😁 than a large bag of Eminem's i love our home town store ❤️

Be careful to make sure they give you all your groceries. They keep your purchase on turntable baggers and twice I have not received my purchase. Real problem when you get home without ingredients to complete meals. I guess next customer got bonus for free. Hate to drive to hot springs, but not many other choices.

Great local grocery store with everything you'll need! We were immediately greeted with a smile and asked if we needed help finding anything. Almost every aisle had sale items, generic brands, name brands, and even some vegetarian/vegan/organic options - great for shoppers of all types and desired spending range! All produce looked very good and the store aisles were well maintained. They also have some camping/household items and T shirts which were locally influenced... a great touch. Support local and save the trip to the corporate box stores!!! Thanks Bob's for a great grocery experience.

Was at the lake today and decided to stop at this grocery store..so glad we did the people were so nice. My husband always goes for the meat dept to check out the steaks..he found t bone steaks that looked wonderful, they were thick and about half of what we pay here. While he was looking the butcher came out and told him they cut everything in house and was so helpful and nice we bought 4 of the steaks,then had to go across the street and get a cooler to bring them home but boy was it worth it.when we finally got home I cooked 1 of the steakOne was big enough for 2 people) and it was so tender and juicy .we loved it....if you're around Mt Ida stop and get a steak or a few you will be so glad you did.

ALWAYS check the expired date here, this is the third time I have bought expired products for outrageous prices, 3 strikes. I will not be back. So I cooked 3lbs of rotten hamburger and didn't even notice till I took a bite, checked the sell by date on the meat wrapper to my bank statement and sure enough I bought meat 3 days past the sell date.

We were just passing through and stopped to use the restroom and get some donuts. We ended up getting some chicken from the deli and turnovers. The chicken is without a doubt the crispiest, most delicious chicken ever. Would love the recipe to make at home since we live in Minnesota . What a nice hone town grocery store!

They are continuously investing in making this store better! I love the new displays and am excited to see clothes there now. I usually purchase the produce and am always pleased with the selection and prices. Our favorite part about grocery shopping is they have the mini carts for the little kids. Very family oriented!

My oldest son lived in Washington DC and he would always buy me groceries when he came but he would come through the door and say mom I live in one the most expensive places in the country and Bob's is expensive than grocery stores in DC. But it's the only grocery in the county so we shop there the employees are always helpful and pleasant so if you are visiting I think you will have a good experience at Bob's.

Decent prices for a locally owned home town grocery store. Friendly and helpfull employees, really like the sales on the meat. Pretty have what you are looking for and a really good knife selection area if your into knives/machetes

I liked their breakfast sandwiches. Normal small town grocery store. At the end of May, they have a flea market for crystals (and crafts).
