It had been a good while since I had visited paws and claws and I just must say I truly was blown away by the difference when I walked in the door. It didnt smell like a animal shelter at all. The air smelt so clean and pure and homey. You could feel the love in the shelter from the woman inside. All the animals looked so clean and healthy but most of all loved. You could definitely tell paws and claws made being in a kennel feel like not such bad of a place to have to be momentarily for the guests that stayed thier. Thier wasn't rages of barking and doggies jumping on cahes and fences begging for attention or to be let out. They all appeared as happy as they could be and knew they were loved no matter thier situation and all waited patiently knowing they were going to get acknowledged and treated with compassion. It truly was so heart warming and touching. My biggest applaud goes to paws and claws pet shelter. Keep doing what you've been doing. I see a remarkable difference like no other shelter I've ever seen or heard of. Thier just isn't enough words to describe just how amazing paws and claws has become and still yet is do all they can in becoming even better and more for those without a family.

This is a very well managed, well kept shelter. You can tell the animals are very well taken care of and that the workers and volunteers really care about them. They provide a very needed service for our area and I'm very grateful for them

I love the mission of paws and claws helping support the Huntsville animal shelter. And they have some thing for everyone! There’s household items, linens, clothing, books, everything you can imagine! A great place to look for gifts!

Over the years we have adopted our 6 cats and 2 dogs from this shelter. The staff are always so sweet and the efforts they go to to make sure each animal finds a good home is incredible. Best shelter in NWA!

This is a phoney place with phoney people who do not care about animals. I called and left a message my dogs were starving to death . No return call nothing. I called again and they said they could get around to it in a few days. Right. Starving dogs. Fake phoney could really care less.

I can’t begin to thank your organization for a flawless adoption of two kittens. Your organization was thoroughly organized and I never had to wonder about next steps. I was always informed. Thank you to Angela, foster mom who generously gave her time and energy to raise 4 kittens. They are so well socialized and already litter box trained! Thank you again for all your hard work!!❤️

I recently found a kitten on petfinder his names Nick, and as soon as I saw his sweet face I had to get him. I immediately emailed them and sent an application in for adoption at like 6/7pm on Jan 5th and got a call the next day at 11am! They were so quick to get back to me and we’re so sweet. When I went in to meet nick I was greeted with nothing but happy, friendly faces. I would 10000% recommend paws and claws and will be back! Thank you guys so much!!! Nick found his forever home!!! Adopt don’t shop ❤️

Very caring staff working hard to help the helpless. The adoption fee for our dog covered spay, shots, meds, and microchip. I have never had a better shelter experience than with this organization.
