Had to cash a check and it was absolutely painless. I even got a barcode to take to the register when purchasing (awesome reduced price and clearance deals on meat) groceries that credited the $4 check cashing fee, towards my total.So in a nutshell, EASY AND QUICK HELP AT SERVICE COUNTER,FOLLOWED BY GREAT PRICES ON HIGHER QUALITY MEATS..TOPPED OFF WITH MY CASHED CHECK BEING FREE IN THE END!(I have boycott at Walmart 100% and I do the majority of my shopping at harps now and I would absolutely recommend it to anyone that wants a better shopping experience with a better quality meets department for sure. I mean they have a butcher... And it absolutely shows in their meat products 😁If I could give it six stars I probably would...

I worked for harps would have been almost 11 years I'm hoping to go back and I would for sure go to the huntsville location very great customer service and the store is always clean and the most freshest fruit and veggies I've seen love the employees who work there

I buy Bananas cause they are DOLE AND I GET MY MEDICINE FROM THE PHARMACY and they have a lot of Employees they're nice they have all kinds of EASTER STUFF MOTHERS DAY AND OTHER THINGS

Litterally EVERYTHING went wrong that could have. I got my groceries on 4/4/2023. Got my son a packaged muffin. Opened it after getting home.. Its molded. Got out the Rana refrigerated pasta I bought and its been out of date for weeks unnoticed apparently and i had no clue. Also noticed lunch meats that were going out of date where being used for sandwiches with new used by dates. WOW. Never shopping again.Now im left empty handed today trying to throw something together for dinner.

This place is the worst! In the last 2 years I have gotten fermented "fresh cut pineapple", moldy ice cream, nasty meat, informed them of 3 week past expiration date milk, and most recently I got ricotta cheese that was 11 days past expiration with mold in it. All of this and I only go maybe once a month because they suck SOOOOO BADLY! Don't go.

I will no longer shop at this Harps location. We had two food banks here in Madison Co, one just closed its doors. Harps used to be a main contributing source to help feed the needy families here in Huntsville but ever since they switched management they no longer donate food or out of date items, they throw it in the dumpster out back! The dumpster was completely full of cookies, fruit, cakes, tampons and ect, good items that could have been the only meal for struggling families. It honestly makes me sick. VIC in marble is the only person here locally who spends the time going to multiple locations and getting food to help anyone who needs it. This used to be a staple store for days passed but just like many other places they simply don't care about thier community.The staff can be rude at times because it's understaffed and yes it's a smaller store with less variety but people like going here, the old timers. It needs a good cleaning, a fix me upper store that needs some TLC.Please dont comment back saying they can't donate food, because yes they can, they could work with the food banks and tell them when the food is to be thrown away, or they could write it off as a charitable donation come tax time. We absolutely need more people like Vic and dumpster divers to feed the needy, the elderly and children, that's a sad thought considering the contributions Harps and other local stores used to make.

The stores are always clean and the employees are always friendly and willing to help you if you need it. The employees are even willing to take a few minutes to chit chat with you if strike up a conversation with them. I just can't say anything bad about any of the Harps stores since I haven't had a bad experience in one yet.

Harps is a good store they have good people that work there but their prices are way too high Walmart has been beat they need to compete if they're going to stay up and do good they're going to have to compete with those lower prices why can you go to Walmart and buy a gallon of milk for a dollar 69 and you go to Harps and it's twice as much or more people can't afford that they're going to have to compete

Better than waiting in lines at the walmart.. meat is a little high but still better than walmart in quality.. wish I had gotten the scallops.. bit pricey on the seafood . Almost asked the cashier to marry me she was so nice.

We shop here often. Great deli section. Nice employees. Could use some "organization" as the sections are scattered. The layout needs to be revamped. Other than that, it is a great store.

Clean they have what I needed cream of rice and beef roast and pork roast for my mother and my brother I'm on a special diet I eat white rice and no salt veggies.

Unfortunately I don’t care to shop at Harps they are over priced and selection of groceries aren’t that good. I’ve also have had issues with purchasing products and getting them home and they have been expired, this has happened to me on several occasions if you don’t care to pay for over priced and expired items then this is the place for you.

I bought two packs of the same cheese this morning at and one of the packs had mold. Both packs were sealed good and the pack didn't expire until July 2018. This isn't the first time I've seen mold on cheese in this store. Both times they were different brands.

I would like to use Harps for my grocery shopping needs. In Huntsville 2 choices. Walmart or Harps. Both have limited items. Harps prices have gotten so much higher than Walmart that it's hard not to choose Walmart over them. I could understand alittle bit higher but it keeps getting more.

They’re always so helpful and have even ordered special items for me. Their meat Dept is always happy to cut/slice meat for me at no cost. Being disabled that is very helpful!!

Produce department is full of rotting items and some with mold. Dismal selection other than very basic foods. Sad that Harps is represented so poorly. Local residents might shop there more often if the selection was better and fresher. Instead, I am forcedto go to Wal-Mart in Huntsville or Fayetteville Harps.
