I bought a phone charger here that did not work. I immediately went back in to return it and the cashier Denise instead of just doing the return she started challenging me on why it was not working and asking what type of phone I had. It was a type C phone charger, and she insisted it was for an iPhones only. I corrected her and said no I have had this android phone for over a year and it does use type C. I asked her to just do my return. She kept arguing with me. I ended up just leaving and calling the general manager. It was a bizarre experience. I had to return the charger to another Dollar General later.

I have never had a worse experience in a dollar general before. I came in there today around 1 pm. I shopped and got my items before heading to the check out line. When I got to the line there was not one there to help me. I rung the little bell and waited 5 min and still there was no one to help me. Then I saw the self check out so I went over and scanned my items but I still needed help so I pressed the help button and waited another 5 min and no one came. Walked around the store to see if I could find someone to help and I could not find anyone in there. I had to leave my items and go to channas corner instead. I understand it is a new store but the self check outs arnt perfect and it would be nice to have help when it doesn’t work.

I only wish the Dollar General stores were like this one in Northwest Missouri. Big, extra clean, well stocked and maintained along with staff that was friendly along with helpful.
