This man saved my dog. I was in from out of town with my family when my dog went lame, wouldn’t eat, walk, move. I brought the dog in thinking we would have to put her down. Nope! The vet saved her life by calmly doing what looked like Chiropractic work on her. That night she was up walking and eating. Two weeks later she’s running around like normal.

Stay Away! Poor customer service. I called and asked if my anxious cats could be seen before we fly 4 hours on a plane tomorrow. The lady who answered said sure! I was ready to bring them in, but she asked someone else and came back saying that I didn’t have to, which I thought was strange. I even called back and asked to clarify the address and to see if I could still come to the clinic an hour later and still wasn’t told to bring the cats in. The staff said that I should “still come be because I was just picking up medication right?” I drive an hour there and no one came to greet me and my children in the front office. We were just standing there for several minutes, so I called. I heard the phone ringing in the back and Dr. Bob answered, yelling at me saying that I should have known better and he is not going to prescribe tranquilizers (which I didn’t even ask for) for an animal he has never seen (which I agreed with as I am a health professional as well). He said he didn’t care what I said! So I leave without seeing anyone. It was a waste of 2 hours of my day that I didn’t have just to get yelled at. I saw later that I had missed a from the clinic 30 min prior, but I wasn’t able to answer due to driving. I guess it was a big miscommunication but “Dr. Bob” would have been more professional to say “I’m sorry for your time, I will re-educate my staff to make sure this doesn’t happen again”Response to his reply: This man who describes himself as a professional is lacking in that regard. God save us all for him to question my high ethics ( when he and his staff clearly suggested tranquilizers for animals that he did not even see.) License should be revoked (again apparently). Just learn to apologize and be kind then you won’t have to attempt save face later by lying on people.

Truly cannot believe the way my aunt was treated today. Brought her pet in because he had burnt his little feet, and when she asked why he was doing adjustments on his neck and not looking at his feet which was the entire reason she was there, she was screamed at and was told to get out of his clinic. It is appalling that a medical professional can treat someone in distress so terribly with no remorse or empathy. As someone in the medical field myself, I’d warn others to stay far away and am surprised someone like this still maintains an active license.Response update -You wouldn’t listen to her. You were trying to perform unnecessary chiropractic adjustments on his neck. She rescued the squirrel when it was just days old- it would have died otherwise. I think YOU should be reported and you should be embarrassed by the way you respond to these legitimate negative reviews. An apology would have gone a long way, but your ego clearly can’t handle the that. Will be filing a formal complaint.

Thank you, Dr Bob. I brought my dog into the clinic on an emergency basis on a Sunday night and incredibly happy that Dr Bob offered emergency care as I could not find another place available that would see my dog! Dr Bob diagnosed my dog (and named him Lucky) with Bronchopneumonia and was able to get him the help he needed! I was welcomed to visit Lucky while he recovered in their care. Thank you to the wonderful vet techs that took good care of Lucky and gave him good loving! I am forever grateful. Sara Goodrum

Took Odin in for difficulty uriating. He was x rayed catheterized and given medication. Dr stated no stones. Was taken to regular vet a couple of days later. Xrays sent to my vet were unreadable, the were unsure why he was prescribed the specific medication to treat uti. Xray retaken showing bladder full of stones. Surgery was required to remove. Would have given no stars if possible.

Emergency this morning, called the Dr at 7:30 in a panic for her to see him, and he was fantastic! Everyone in the office was, they diagnosed and treated her amd now she's home sleeping comfortably after keeping ME up all night!Update 1 year later- Dr Bob healed her "alopecia", turns out its allergies and now her fur is full and beautiful; he diagnosed her with high blood pressure, put her on a med and she's fine now and avoiding heart problems like CHF (I've had 2 pomeranians previously who had CHF); he diagnosed her with stomach issues that are now resolved. He cleans her teeth once a year and handles all her vaccinations and flea & tick prevention. She has a clean bill of health and is doing awesome. Whoever keeps posting the bad reviews of Dr Bob, I refute them, I have had nothing but great results with him, and have a perfectly healthy pomeranian and am grateful for everything Dr Bob has done for her.2 years later, Dr Bob is still on top of Coco's health & treatment. Her stomach issues flared up again last week, he just saw her and gave her additional meds, she has gastroenteritis. I cannot feed her treats anymore! I need to be strict with her diet whether she likes it or not. Thanks again Dr Bob!

Photos are misleading.Called to ask some questions about my pet dog .ratchi. His breed name which is a ChihuahuaRat terrier mix whom I believe is sick, I ask the lady on the phone if they actually service dogs and she says no only horses but your google photos shows you service dogs and etc etc?

One star is too much! The place is disgusting and the people are rude. Talking about customers behind their backs, blatantly telling someone they didn't want to serve them - no reason, we had been completely kind. Had even offered to pick up the vet because his car wouldn't start. They allow children to go anywhere in the facility, petting and playing with all the animals. The place smelled so bad it burned your eyes after sitting for a few minutes. Didn't look like it had been thoroughly cleaned in months and other places looked like an environment conducive to mold above the ceiling tiles. $450 was minimum fee when much nicer places and much friendlier staff is more like $150. We didn't make it to the back before we left and I am so glad, cannot imagine what the rest of the place looked like. This place should be closed down and he should NOT be allowed to practice anymore.Update: to the must be hallucinating reply from owner - shows your lack of professionalism, we didn't stay, it was my mom's dog (not mine), I was with her. But, your comment is the exact kind of attitude we got the entire time we were there. Thank you for showing everyone how insensitive and disrespectful you are.

Got my dog spayed. And she died 9 days later after getting her stitches/wires out. She was eating fine twice a day. Never gained anyweight back after getting spayed. Didn't even survive a month after getting fixed. I'm so sad.

I honestly never write reviews but I have NEVER experienced someone being so completely rude to me for absolutely no reason. I spoke with “Dr. Bob” on the phone and he was astonishingly rude to me before hanging up on me. I am flabbergasted by such unwarranted hatefulness. Definitely go somewhere else.

My kitty was very sick and suffering and I knew the right thing to do was euthanasia. Bob was the only vet open without having to drive to Little Rock . He did the procedure but showed no compassion, he was rough handling my pet and had to give him a 2nd injection of the medication to stop his heart. All the while we were waiting for the end to come Bob repeatedly said He's gone now, he's dead, these are just reflexes. You can go now if you want. My kitty was still breathing. I absolutely could not leave my baby to die alone. Bob even told my husband that he could pay the bill while we were waiting for the medication to work. My Vet was closed and I had no choice. I had heard stories about him from others and I didn't want to go to him but I couldn't let my kitty suffer.I am sick about this.

I had to take my dog to see mr. Bob Saturday night at about 8, I was nervous because I wasn’t sure what was going to happen if he could just fix her up fast or if it’d have to be a light surgery. He looked her over and was able to fix her toe that night, gave me her meds and helped get her back into my truck. Bob and his vet tech were super sweet to me and my dog, he talked me through what he was going to do and told me what to watch for. If I ever have another problem with either of my pups he is who I’ll be seeing.

My dog woke up this morning with a swollen leg and couldn’t bare weight on it. My vet is not in clinic Tuesday or Thursday..their other clinic never returned my call! After calling all the vets in Hot Springs to be told they had no openings or wasn’t taking new pets..or just didn’t return my call! I found Dr. Bob!! He and his staff were very caring and concerned about my pet. He explained everything that was found..showing me the X-rays and lab results..Thank you Dr Bob and staff..I WILL BE BACK!!

Update: they also send post cards for the pets that died in their care. Stating it’s time for a check up. We went here in June 2022Surf through the actual reviews of this clinic. You will find a ton more 1 star reviews than you see in the graph.This is a very uncaring and unloving place to go. They do Not really care about your animals, and their attitude towards customers shows that. If you are new to their clinic they do Not treat you like bobs old friends who come in. improper diagnosis, charges for services they aren’t truly doing.Bob is elderly and doesn’t listen while you are speaking. He was not aggressively rude purposely to us like other reviews, nor did he call us names, or demeaning to any of us. He was just simply in his own world not answering questions, making the same statements over and over. The male tech he had working however was extremely rude and seems like the type who would kill your pet on purpose if the lady wasn’t watching over him.We came from a large city, and used to everyone loving all pets, and having a lot of compassion for people with sick (family)animals. We have Not found a really good vet in this area and only went to him because our normal vet literally told us they were too busy to see our sick animals. 🤦🏼‍♂️ So we ended up at the only place that says yes, come in because we will charge you for things you know for a fact we haven’t done but we might do them later. Very expensive place to get no help whatsoever.

This is Dr. Bob's place. He has won the most experienced and wonderful veterinarians in Arkansas. He's also a veteran.I was at his location doing a refrigerator repair.I saw a thriving business and a doctor who spoke with a great bedside manner.You can tell when people really care about their profession and Dr. Bob is the best.His patients owner's, have the utmost respect for him.Spending a few hours their.While handling a repair..... you noticed that the place has a full staff of professionals.A great customer base and one of the best Vet's in the business.Thank youChuck ThompsonChuck's Appliance Repair

I have never been treated so poorly & degraded in my life by a “professional”.My mother simply asked if they offered payment plans for surgeries and was told “if you don’t have the money to pay then don’t call here again.” and hung up on her. I witnessed it all. She never stated she couldn’t pay in full it was just a question out of curiosity and he immediately responded with that comment… When I called to address the situation he told me “if you’re too poor to own animals you shouldn’t have them. Nobody works for free, don’t call back again.” As if we were begging for free help just because we asked about a payment plan…Since sharing my experience I’ve had tons of people coming to me with terrible stories of either misdiagnosed animals, animals he’s killed, terrible communication, and over pricing for unnecessary procedures. Even people asking me to join them in lawsuits.

Doctor bob stayed open late to help us with an emergency with our male dog that is pretty aggressive and no one else would help us. He did amazing very much appreciate him! Definitely recommend!

Dr. Bob is one of the best vets that I’ve had the privilege to take my 12-year-old cockapoo to. I am new to the area and didn’t want to take my dog to the vet because I knew they would try to make money on me with rabies, heart worm etc, since it would be our first visit. Dr. Bob personally welcomed my dog immediately, quickly diagnosed her issues and said he’d take care of her eye infection, her lacerated paw pads and offered to give her a bath. I have lived in many places, and I have to say this is the best vet experience that I have ever had. He cares about animals and wants to help them as quickly and cost effectively as possible. I cannot say enough good things about Dr Bob. He is a life saver.

I trust Dr. Bob with my golden retriever, my boss also brings his dog here. I like how clear, respectful and upfront Dr. Bob is. They're always quick and happy to answer the phone. He isn't going to have you come in and waste your money if he can't help you. If he can help you and your pets life is on the line then he's going to tell you like it is, you need to bring your animal in immediately so he can help you. Some people need to realize that some animals you just can't save and any vet I've ever spoken with has told the owner the likelihood of their pet making it. No vet wants your animal to die they just don't. Honestly if you own a pet and you have a low income you should have a credit card/emergency funds sat aside just in case. Animals don't get to choose their owners be more responsible. I'm sure if it were more appropriate for veterinarians to tell their clients then they would. Our fur babies rely on us to keep them safe. Unless you know of an issue directly, it is not reliable for you to include something that you know nothing about in your review. Just because you heard something doesn't make it true. Two sides to every story.

Dr Bob has saved my dog on multiple occasions. He is very Frank, to the point, does not beat around the bush. While he is there for the love of animals, he is also running a business. I see people here giving low stars and negative talk because he has a price for his services. I have never found a vet that would allow payment plans, especially on emergency care. I had to get a credit card for my baby to be saved. Realizing not all can do that, just keep in mind that your financial issue or credit score is not the fault of the care provider. Dr. Bob doesn't have the personality of a comedian. Then again, he isn't claiming to be a comedian!! He is a caring provider and will do all he can to save your fur baby. He will also let you know if it can't be saved (even if your budget is the reason). Dr Bob is the BEST!!

Dr.Bob and the staff are great. This was my first experience with Village Animal Group. Also, my first time having a cat go through the spay procedure. Kitty seems to be doing great. Thank you Dr.Bob and thank you to everyone involved!!!NickOn another note, I don't read reviews first. I go to place of bussines and establish a general impression of the business for myself and use my own discernment, then decide. A lot of people don't seem to understand that if it is living, it will die some day. People complain about lack of compassion, when, more often than not it is just straight forward talk. That's a good thing and is rare to hear these days. On another note, most people that act like they care really dont; they want you to come back. Don't complain about having to pay for a service when you could have spent less than $1.00 and done it yourself. Also, cushings disease is usually, more often than not, caused by a benign tumor involving the pituitary gland. Not a few days of "stress".

If you want a misdiagnosed pet and a hefty bill this is the place to go. After last night desperation to find a vet to help my pup I got the wrong treatment and some rude remarks. Had to take my pup to another vet early this morning since zero improvement and got a correct diagnosis as after 1 treatment he is already breathing better. Avoid if you can it isn't worth the risk. I got charged more for the wrong treatment then I did for the right and neither were my regular vet both urgent responses.

I was at my wits end with a bleeding abscess , up all night long looking for a vet and compressing a gushing wound.I had a call in with an emergency center in Little Rock( 17 hours later they called me back) Someone on Facebook mentioned Dr Bob.He had me come in right away , 4 am, was nice enough to take care of Charlie. I say hands up to such a caring man!
