My husband stayed here 5 months ago while he was working in the area, and I come spent the weekend with him. I left early and told him to leave as well and find a better place. They have critters (roaches) that crawl in the bed with you ! Also, the owner now, does drugs and I know this for a fact because, she asked my husband if he wanted/needed some. She and her husband also had a "camp" fire there with some of the guests and was smoking dope with some of them around the fire. This is NOT a place to bring children of any age to.We will NOT be back here to stay !!! We'll find some place without roaches and DEFINITELY DRUG FREE !!!I rated this place with 1 star, because there isn't a ZERO !!! This place needs owners that are drug free and alot nicer !!!

Quiet, cute and priced well!! Check out is at 11. This was way more than expected for the rate. Their website describes it perfectly 👌. They have resturants in the area listed which helps so much! Pet friendly. A truly lovely stay! Plenty of parking for boats. Has bbq grill, pavilion with tables. Has pool. Really is a wonderful little gem!Rooms: Well decorated and clean, has everything you need for a night's stay. Can tell they have been remodeled. Every room is different so stay multiple times for a different experience everytime!Walkability: Very close to the narrows where a boat launch is also withing 5 mins of most of all the stores and main boat ramp for tournaments.

Don't let the outside fool you this place is pretty cool. Our room was adorable, very nicely done with a lake theme. Beds are small but cozy and the pool was open late enough for my son and husband to get a quick swim in before bed. Only drawback is the coffee in the room is not awesome

I didnt stay at the hotel. This review pertains to The TACKLE BOX bait shop only.The owner of the Shop is a super nice fellow who loves to talk fish, and baits and clearly knows what he is talking about on both topics because his shop has every bait and lure I've ever heard of and dozens more I haven't. He's got live bait, plastics, cranks, and spinners. I couldn't recommend any place more highly. His selection rivals any Bass Pr_ Sh_p I've ever been to. If youre looking for that impossible to find bait that will make or break your trip, give this place a try, you won't be disappointed.

The owner is an absolute sweetheart! My husband is actually a regular at this place, because he works out of town. And he would never think of staying anywhere else. My son and I went and stayed a few nights with him, just this week and I had the most wonderful time. It was so peaceful and clean. The place is very well taken care of. And it has such a home-like feel to it. The pool is so clean and was perfect for my 2 yr old to play in and just as perfect for myself. I WILL definitely be staying there again!

I was so pleasantly surprised with this hotel. The owner is such a sweet lady and is very determined to make sure that your stay is pleasant and that you have everything you need. I highly recommend this place for any length of stay. The rates are very reasonable and the rooms are really nice. I will always choose this hotel when I come to the area.

I would definitely come back and stay. The rooms were clean and cozy. The outside has a nice pool, a pavilion for gatherings and plenty of space to take your dog out for a little walk

We'll be back! Great value. Book early for a big weekend. Doug is the best hotel owner ever! Parking for trucks and boats. Very CLEAN! Nice pool. Just a mile or two to most anything you want.

As always...nice clean comfortable rooms. The staff treats you like family and they are always friendly and helpful.This is our yearly go to place to stay for our family reunion.Highly recommend them.

Me and my 2 kids stayed there a few months ago. The rooms are very nice, and clean. The price of room is wonderful. The lady who owns it checked us in, she was so nice, a very sweet lady. This is the place to stay if your looking for a hotel around FFBAY, or Greers Ferry.

Excellent service. The only thing we wish they had was shampoo and a blow dryer. We plan on returning in may for sure. Clean. Comfy bed. Cable and flat screen were a plus.

Stayed here on a motorcycle trip in May 2018. Great place to stay at Greers Ferry lake. Very friendly and helpful staff. Rooms were newly redecorated and very clean. Will definitely come back!!!

Nice little motel, rooms were very quaint. Not the Ritz but the bed was very comfortable! No fridge or microwave but still very clean and nice.

We loved this place! The rooms were nice, owners were more than excellent and as we never made it to the pool...it looked welcoming. We were just minutes from the boat launch and restaurants. We will definitely be coming back real soon...LOVE LOVE LOVE The Sportsman Lodge!

Great place to stay when in the area! Wonderful clean rooms, comfy beds , and lots of hot water. Some rooms are equipped with a fridge. Reasonably priced.
