Never again! Charged for 2 shots I stated I'd rather not be given. The doctor said she wasn't parasitic probably just a bug. Yet opted to give steroid, antibiotics shot along with take home antibiotic ($65).I feel that he knew she was better, yet couldn't let the revenue get away.Very disappointed

Dr. Self and his staff were very kind, knowledgeable, and excellent with our very anxious puppy who came in for his annual checkup and to get neutered. It was our first visit and I definitely recommend him! I love his easy to use PetPage app too.

Dr. Self and the staff at Ozark Animal Medical Center are very professional and friendly, time efficient, extremely knowledgeable in their fields and provide excellent services. It’s quite evident as you enter their clinic that everyone has a genuine concern for your pet. I think it’s worthy to mention that Dr. Self & staff also assist with our local Human Society by providing their services as well as conducting various fund raisers. I highly recommend !

I took Sophie in at 8 AM for her surgery appointment and picked her up at 3 PM. Dr. Self talked with me about her treatment and then his assistant came in and explained the orders. Overall Great experience.

I’ve been taking my dogs to this vet for over a year now, and I absolutely love it! They work so hard for the animals and are always so personable to me when I come in, which is a huge improvement over my last area vet. I have 100% confidence that they will be honest in my pets care and couldn’t be happier. The scheduling is usually open and I have had good success with emergency call in’s. Taking my dogs here really isn’t a hassle, and that is the best

Great staff! They were all very kind and loving! Made our doggy feel safe and secure the whole visit, even during the shots. Doc was great! He was informative about testing they were doing and the procedure our fur baby is having. You can tell his heart is in his job and he will give the best of care to your pet! Dr Self works closely with the Heber springs animal shelter, each month helping to get dogs ready to go up North to new forever homes. He also participates in our spring and fall shot clinics and is always available to answer questions.

They helped me with my Baldwin. I think if another vet had done it any differently I would have fell apart in a million pieces. Since losing my son in 2014, I can’t tell you how hard this was. But Dr. Self and his staff showed a level compassion that eased my sweet boy over the rainbow in a way that wasn’t traumatic for him or me. He really had Baldwin’s comfort as a priority and that doesn’t make a good veterinarian, it makes an extraordinary veterinarian. They really may not even know how much they did. They are amazing.

Dr. Brett Ziegenbalg has taken care of our aging Siamese cat for the last three years of her life. He was extremely competent and I would recommend him without any reservations.When we took our cat with us to spend this last winter in Florida, we had to call him with some concerns we had about what a Florida vet was recommending. He immediately answered our call and was a wonderful source of information. He didn’t charge us for this consultation.When we returned this spring (May 2013), it was regretfully, time to put our cat to sleep (she was almost 19 years old). He let us stay with the cat while he very humanely put her to sleep.A week after that, we received a sympathy card from his office. Each of his staff involved not only signed the card, each also wrote a nice short note about our cat.In short, this office is above and beyond any veterinarian office that I have personally been to. I highly recommend Dr. Z and his courteous staff. Whenever he saw or treated our cat, his examination was the most thorough. He always listened to our concerns and offered several options for treatment.

Bill was higher than expected due to my cat being treated for fleas when she was left for spaying. And I've never seen fleas on her or in my home. But also Stella, my cat seems to have been well taken care of while there, she has recovered well, was sent home with pain med and prophylactic antibiotics and is doing great.

My "baby dog" and I love Doc and his staff. They love my Maggie just like I do, always gentle and sweet with her. They call and check on her if she has been sick or when she was attacked by a pitbull and almost died. Dr. Self was on vacation with his family out of state when it happened; he helped us get her to an emergency Vet and called to check on several times before they got back. I couldn't ask for better!

Dog looked sick and she showed it in her eyes. 104 temp, emergency phone in appointment. Seen within 2 hours- current vet 2 day wait. Staff and doctor very pleasant and thorough. On site labs plus quick diagnosis got my dog moving again. Switching to Ozark for both my pets needs.

Great people here, very friendly to animals and persons, very professional and fast yet steady surgery. Had both my cats in for spaying, they recovered very quickly with no complications and even though one of them bit the staff, they were treated with respect.
