The food was excellent and fairly priced! We were on our way back from our trip to Arizona back to Ohio. I ordered when we were about 20 minutes from the location and was told it would be 30 minutes, which worked out perfectly because we stopped and got gas. We had an order for 8 people. Everything was ready when we arrived to pick up our order. We ordered biscuits and gravy, breakfast burritos, hashbrowns, and sweet teas. Everything tasted delicious and the portions were more than enough. I highly recommend it! No pics, as I forgot.

BLT was adequate but unremarkable. Had to ask for mayo. For $7.79 you get two pieces of lightly toasted bread, 4 slices of bacon, a bit of lettuce & some tiny slices of tomatoe. No sides. The fried pie was excellent and well worth the $3.19 but they only had apple, coconut, and cherry. I like coconut but would have gone for lemon or blackberry if they had them. They have them on the board but not made. Also they were out of icecream. In this heat some icecream would have been nice. The sweat tea was a little bland and not near enough sugar for southern sweet tea. For $2.79 they could add another bag to the pot and a little more sugar. The servers were nice enough but you have to ask for refills, you have to ask for condiments, and I had to ask about ordering pie when I mentioned that I would want some when I came in. I came in a little after noon and it looked like they were getting ready to close up shop and prioritizing that over serving. Over all it was adaquate but not great. The pie was the best part but not as good as it could have been. While nothing was BAD nothing was really good outside the pie which had limited options and no accompanig icecream. I would not drive an hour to go to this place again. There are plenty of other options worth trying in the area should I go back.

Charming country cafe with the usual breakfasts, burgers, and plate dinners, but with a few twists. I got the "Texas Philly" sandwich, with strips of beef, green peppers, caramelized onions, and pepper jack cheese on Texas toast. Good food, nice people.Parking: In addition to the asphalt lot, there's an additional gravel lot to the south with plenty of room for my semi truck tractor. Not sure if I could have gotten in with a trailer attached, but no problem if you're bobtail or driving a box truck.

This burger was amazing. One of the best I have ever had. Very juice and the mushrooms were cooked right. It’s hard to get the mushrooms right. I love this burger and would eat it again.

We stopped here on a drive from Texas to Indiana. Was definitely worth the time. The menu isn't huge and the food isn't fancy, but it was good! We had stopped thinking the buffet would get us in and out quick, but there's no buffet on Saturday so we ordered off the menu. We ordered a chicken fried steak sandwich, fried bologna sandwich on Texas toast and a kids popcorn chicken and fries. Everyone enjoyed their orders. The fried bologna was especially good....thick bologna, bread toasted on the grill on both sides and thick slices of tomato....yum!

Update 07/24/23Visited for lunch on a Saturday and was extremely disappointed. Aside from me, there were only a couple other tables, but it took nearly a half hour before I got my drink and my order taken. Then it took another half hour before my food arrived. Had plans that day and was expecting quicker service. That alone would of been just a minor inconvenience and nothing to complain about, but apparently they hadn't received their food shipment and therefore were out of a lot of things. This too wouldn't be an issue, except the waitress didn't bother telling me about this. I ordered a cheeseburger special with all the usual toppings, and when my food arrived, all the burger had was cheese and a tiny bit of shredded lettuce on it. The amount of fries was small as well, barely covering the plate. I immediately asked the waitress where the rest of the burger was, tomatoes, pickles, onion. The waitress replied they were out of these things. Why wasn't I told of this to begin with? The waitress specifically asked me if I wanted these things on the burger. I would of gladly ordered something else if they were out. The burger itself was good, no complaints to the cook.As it is, I will be avoiding this place for awhile, maybe come back in a few months to see if things improve. But in the meantime, there are plenty of other places around the area I've been wanting to try.--------------Excellent food and service. I try to stop by whenever I'm in the area.

A very popular restaurant, in Hazen, Arkansas, The Hurley House is a place where you can get good food, great service, and an old-fashioned diner experience. We've been looking for a restaurant like this in our travels and The Hurley House hit it out of the park!

Amazing place! Really has a nice homey feel. The staff is very kind and attentive, and really made me feel welcome. The food takes a while to come out, but by golly is it worth it! I had, hands down, the best pancakes of my life. Highly recommended!

Great little cafe to stop at! We ordered a few of the catfish plates and it was worth every penny! Cooked perfect and had leftovers to take home. Ashleigh was a sweetheart and was very attentive. If ever in the area or surrounding area it’s worth the drive.

I eat here often. Great food and friendly staff. I have had everything from breakfast to hamburgers and the buffet and daily specials. All of the food is very good and can be cooked to order from the the menu. It is a great little diner. Truly a hidden gem. Their hamburger is just fantastic. Onion rings are perfect and crispy. The portions are generous. If you are not sure what to order, have fried the catfish. It is awesome.

Came across on our way home from out of town. Very clean and wonderful waitress. Food was very good and fresh. Our picky 4 year old even ate all her food so that was an extra plus for us! We most definitely we’ll stop again soon.

Down home Cafe with buffet and menu offerings. Daily specials as well as a wide variety of fried pies.We ordered a BLT & Bacon cheeseburger with tots and were not disappointed. Big enough burgers to share and plenty of tots. Over all, menu portions are large.Bacon is thick and has good flavor. Good service as well. Would come back anytime.Note that this is 2.4 miles off the freeway. Worth it! Popular with the locals.

We were able to call our order in. We got there as they were trying to close and they were very accommodating the food was fresh & hot. Delicious. We had the Catfish plates with Cole Slaw, Onion, French Fries & Hush Puppies. We are over the road & look forward to supporting small town food verses large chain food places.

Been there twice. Not impressed at all. Why people return there is a mystery to me. Chicken was not cooked thoroughly. Just a bad taste everything I ate. Ain't gating on the place but I definitely do not recommend. I will pass this place and eat elsewhere.

I had the buffet which had fried chicken and brisket and sides. Food was really good. My boyfriend had chicken fried steak which was really good. It’s about 2 miles off the Interstate but well worth the drive. Staff was friendly. Highly recommend.
