Don't stand behind their products they sell. Paid over $120 for a craftsman battery powered weedeater n blower n it was junk! So I took it back n they said they wouldn't take it back because it was used, less than 30 minutes. Will not be shopping for anything of value here anymore n I hope everyone sees this b4 they get stuck with junk!

Great store and one of the best ACE hardware shops in the country. I just purchased my new Weber BBQ from them after my old Weber finally burnt out, it was 20 years old so I did get my monies worth out of it. Yeagers put the new one together and brought it right to the house, they did a great job.

Went to get a few things needed to swap a gas water heater for an electric heater at home, found t. Breaker, wire, shark bites errything I needed with plenty of knowledgeable help from t. Employee in that area. Even t. Cashier Shaylyn was friendly and efficient.

I stopped because I have SPRING FEVER and I Saw some bedding plants outside. After I finished loading my cart full to the brim , I went inside to get the stuff I need to help them to grow strong and healthy! I got to the isle with the potting soil and I couldn't lift it.. I am a small girl with a bad back, so I walked around looking for help and finally I found somebody to help me out in my basket...what am I going to do when I get to my car??? I then found my DREAM LAWN ORNAMENT, PINK FLAMINGO'S, WHOO HOO, I couldn't find room in my cart , I knew that it was time to check out. I did, the cashier was very sweet and asked me if I needed help and I said yes..but after a line started firming behind me , I told hey 4hati would handle it Myself.. that's why I gave them 4 stars! They were out of popcorn too..😖

I wanted to like this place but after buying a Stihl chainsaw here, I had a problem with it and called the store about the warranty and repair and after a long hold I got to talk to a clueless kid who couldn’t have cared less. Nothing but pointless “corporate static” from him. I’d have had better luck dealing with Lowe’sLOWE"S 2.0 - Update, after talking to the store manager, Lance, I have to double down on what I said earlier. It's not a small town hardware store you can rely on. It's straight corporate cold-blooded nonsense. The problem is most likely the store owners and/or upper management who put transactional business ahead of relationship business and cut corners on business essentials to line their pockets. Obviously, Lance wanted my warranty issue to "go away" but he was a victim too of the way the company runs. He was pulled in too many directions to keep his word and call be back to tell me if the parts were in stock, so he slipped into half-truths and half-solutions just like the first kid I talked to the previous day. In the end, he offered to order the parts for me but all he really wanted to do was get off the phone and rush to put out some other fire. To really make things better, this company needs to pay their employees enough to care, care enough to train them well and support them with adequate supervision and management. It's not rocket science ... it's runaway corporate ruthlessness and neglect ... or perhaps just a lack of leadership at the top.

Went to exchange the wrong part. The employees were so helpful finding the right part and even tried to fix the damaged part! Still had to get a new one but they’ve really went beyond helping find the correct part! Thank y’all for everything- great employees for sure- I will be back-

Updated 3/30/21...Mr Gann (owner) and Lance (store manager) both reached out to me today regarding my experience at the Greenwood, Ar location, as reviewed here. I was given the impression by both gentlemen that they were truly sorry for the trouble/inconvenience, as outlined below. It was mentioned that they will be sure to see to it that staff are more thoroughly trained/cross-trained, to avoid anything like this happening again. Also and unfortunately, after posting the first review, we were able to get someone here to install the heater. Last night we discovered the water got cold 20 minutes in to a shower. I mentioned this at the time I spoke with both, and was assured that they would take care of this; I am waiting as I type this, for a call from a plumber. I am changing this review from a 2 star to 4 star. It speaks highly of a company and the people who run it, that they took the time to reach out to a less than satisfied customer, and have begun the process of turning it around. So with that, I must recommend this company. They have remembered the customer in customer service!Just returned from buying a water heater and saw here and had an unpleasant experience. First I want to mention that we have been shopping this location in particular for 25 years. Other than them being somewhat on the slow side, we've never really had any problems. That is until today. It took quite some time to track down an employee to help us in the plumbing section and finally, Michael was called upon to assist us. We had a few questions, but Michael's response to every one of them was "I don't know". After some time, he finally wrote up the ticket and we made our way to check out. We went to one line, we were told to go to another. Made our way over there and were re-directed to yet another (keep in mind the lights were on at all 3 of the lines, but apparently, it's a game of musical check out lanes); paid for our purchase(s) and made our way to get the water heater loaded, only to discover that they were out of stock. How can a store not know what they have in inventory? It seems a given no matter where else we shop, but here...its a mystery. What the heck....the customer has nothing but time, right? We made our way back inside, where we had to settle for a dusty display that Lord willing, will work when it's installed. I asked for a modest discount, considering the inconvenience and that we were taking a display home without any accompanying paperwork or packing materials. Michael called the manager for customer assistance, who could not be bothered to show us the courtesy of at least coming to talk to us, offering an apology or anything of the like. We were told a flat "no" and sent on our way. Greenwood Yeager's/Ace Hardware, you're welcome for the continued patronage and thousands of dollars we have spent in your location over the years, but don't count it continuing.

When you come in the door, they yell, "Welcome to Yeager's", but it sounds more like an "oh, no, wish you weren't here. Cashiers always seem OVERWHELMED. Product choice is awesome and prices are great.

The cashiers are usually polite. However, if you have a question about anything in a certain department, you have to run around the store looking for someone to tell you it's not their department but they'll send them over. The one on Jenny Lind isn't much better but you can always count on Leroy at the lumber desk knowing where everything is.

I am new to Greenwood, went into the store to see if they could help me out. The employees are great. I had to build a pump to winterize my rv. The employee that helped me was awesome, wish I would have got his name.I will be going to see them for everything that I need in the future.To the Yeager team thank you for all that you do!

I prefer to support local businesses but in return I expect those businesses to provide quality service. Unfortunately that is not the case here. When trying to return poor quality product (lumber) I'm told "maybe I should just go buy it at Lowes" ... I don't consider that to be quality service. Well, I took the advice ... Lowes has received $4,000 in sales in the last 3 months and will receive another $2000 next week. Thanks for the advice.

I called ahead about a specific product. The lady who answered her phone was very polite and helpful. We were greeted at the door and referred to the correct department aisle. Another gentleman assisted us with our purchase. Very pleased and satisfied with the customer service experience.

I don’t know what’s happening there now, but it’s gone down hill in terms of customer service. I was in there and not one of those kids takes a second to greet you and ask if you need help finding anything. Instead you have like 4 kids standing around just talking and ignoring people. Stores gone downhill since Lance left.

BIG SIGHEver since James, the manager and Rebel, the assistant manager left, the store has never been the same! Total miss-management. The straw that broke the camels back.... I went on line to see if they had an item, they did! Yay. 3 on the shelf YAY. Made a special trip to the store to get one, only to be told, oops it should not have been on the shelf. At the register they refused to sell me, what they had on the shelf! Its not like we hadn't been good customers we had spent over 1000,000 in 1 year. I will never go back, Home Depot isn't that far!

Store was busy as usual , employees all had masks and were telling people to keep social distancing . Help as usual on the weekends was sparse at the best but when you did find some one to help they were great . Needs more people on the weekends .

My experience at Yeager’s was amazing. One employee walked with us as we read our list and showed us where everything was. When someone came in that he had an appointment with, a different employee took over. Great service!

Went here to buy a stihl weed eater. I was prepared to spend up to $300 for a tool that would last. They didn't have the model I wanted on the rack, which is fine I was prepared to order itBut the salesman knew nothing about what he was selling. I guess I'll go somewhere else with my money.

Good assortment of everything, staff is very knowledgeable, and they are typically the same price as most hardware stores and Walmart, or sometimes they can either match the price of competitors or even beat their prices. Good clean store and good management.
