As always, this Hay's had everything we needed and more! We love to hit Hay's when possible to avoid all the people in our local "big box store". And let's not forget to talk about that fresh cut meat!!! Oh we love our Hay's!! Great employees, great selections, great prices!!!

Visited this grocery store during a night run and it's nice. They have all the things a regular grocery store has like meat, deli, produce, canned and boxed goods, frozen foods, etc. I like that it hasn't taken the cost plus approach several of the other grocers in the area have taken and the price on the label is the price you pay at the register. They have good weekly specials if you watch out for those and they come out every Wednesday. Good store and I would go back.

If I could simply rate the employee with whom I encountered I would give 1 star. Madelynn, the cashier, did not greet me, say hello, did not thank you, nothing. She rang up my items and stated the amount due with a miserable frown. Customer service is significantly lacking with this employee. I would like to say such poor customer service was new to me; however, even the minimum appreciation for customers with a simple thank you at the end of the shopping experience is basically nonexistent these days. Madelynn needs to be trained for customer service as she doesn't know a thing about it based on her performance today. No customer wants to leave feeling this way but I'm used to it. The prices aren't bad and the employees I've worked with are very friendly but the produce leaves a lot to be desired. I have seen bad produce on the shelves on a few visits and the few times I purchased fruits or vegetables there they went bad before I could use them.

Employees all cheerful and very helpful beyond regular duties. Store is clean smells pleasant and not too cold or too hot. I appreciate what we have here locally. I got great price on fried chicken. It's really yummy, better than I can cook. Thank you Hayes.

They have a salad bar and a hot bar. Just a good place to come and relax if you're outside worker trying to find a cool lunch to relax

They have a great selection of stuff. Some prices are way out there but other things they have out way the prices. Like their fresh sushi. It is AMAZING. The gentleman they have doing it has a talent that is more than worth checking out.

Hays has went downhill in my expectations over the years. Prices are higher and quality, especially of fresh products, is less than desirable. With that said, they still have the best donuts in town.The staff is very polite and well suited for the job. For the most part the store is clean and well taken care of.

Boston Butts on sale for 98 cents a pound. Wish they had bigger packs, as these average 17 to 18 pounds a two pack. They will still taste great when they come off the smoker. Friendly staff. Love the fact that they have actual butchers on staff that will cut meats how you want it. Two pack of Boston Butts sliced 1 inch thick makes for a great smoked pork steak.

The nicest essential worker named Kim Benson at the deli section helped me in my decision for take out today. I was so stressed because I was meeting family in an hour and wanted to bring a plate of surprise to them. Thank you Kim for making my experience enjoyable. The plate was a success

This review isn't about the store as whole.Its about the buffet.....First of a how in the world can y'all sell such horrible food!!!!! Your fried chicken today was horrible!!! Thanks to whoever cooked today I am sick& throwing up!!!! Just plain NASTY!!!!!!!! & The mashed potatoes were so lumpy& black roten parts of the potatoes cooked in !!!!! U can't take 5 mins or less to cut that part out of the potatoes!!! Y'all need to get rid of the buffet period or hire a decent cook who knows how to Cook.Chicken tough on the outside& undercooked on the inside!!but u will never ever hv to worry about seeing me in line@ your "buffet"! again!!!!!!!!! But best believe when I do come back to the store I will be sure & tell Mr.D. all about it!!!!!!!!!!!🤢🤢🤢🤢🤢👎👎👎👎👎👎👎👎👎👎👎👎👎

Technically, Overall, I give Hays 5*s. The reason I marked it as 4*s is because, now Even Hays is adopting the impersonal, hectic, technological lifestyle of today's norm. They now have a couple of Self-service cash registers for check outs.Granted, it's only a couple, but it saddens me that such a customer service oriented market has finally succumbed to today's standards. Don't get me wrong, I understand the registers installations, business wise. The Self-service technology makes sense for those who run in for just a couple of items or those in such a hurry they'd rather ring up their items themselves...I suppose it's not Hays that the issue...It's today's need, or at least the belief, for people to be in such a hurry that they can't ignore their cell phones, to-do lists, etc...and just take a moment for their fellow human beings.I sat in my vehicle waiting for my husband and watched customers rush to and fro going about their errands. An elderly woman came out of Hays with a single bag of items in her shopping cart. She removed her bag from the cart and wiped it down with a sanitizer wipe. Meanwhile, while this was occurring, a young mother, her hand bag shouldered, was carrying an infant and wrangling a young child towards the entrance of the store. The older women, noticing the mother, gave the newly sanitized cart to the younger women, lightening the mothers load tremendously. The mother thanked the woman who had graciously surrendered the cart and had surprisingly brightened her day just a moment.These are the moments that I am concerned that our technological dependence might be slowly edging out of our day-to-day happenings. So, as far as I could tell, there was no difference in the Hays customer service shown to the customers by the Hays Staff. I hope it stays that way.Perhaps any Nostalgia could be a learning lesson for us. Sometimes You really do need to just slow down and, as the saying goes, take time to smell the roses.

Hays is one of THE WORST grocery stores I have ever shopped! This store is literally run by kids!! It is filthy!! I have walked in and seen the young men employees toss toilet tissue across the top of the isles like footballs. I have seen them make excuses for not helping some elderly person out with their groceries, just to find them retreat to their, "toilet tissue" football game. Carts are filthy with used masks and other debris. The back of the store definitely gives a reflection of what the other unseen areas of the store might look like. I fear to know, what they may be like.

Store staff are always friendly & helpful. Not a wide variety but considering size of area, it's best place to shop. Bananas could be more ripe. Don't buy them unless you plan on using them in a few days.

Best place to buy hamburger. The have pick 5 special on meats. The cashiers are friendly. Deli chicken and salad bar is good. Don't feel like cooking after church, this is a good place to go when restaurants are busy.
