I have always loved the Tackle Box. You can speak directly with Jerry most days. He greeted us before we even got in the building. His has limited his selection some over the years. He will custom order or make about anything.

This place sucks. So you’d like to know why, I’ll start with the fact I was never spoken to when I walked in, not ever greeted or even acknowledged. Then when I did ask someone a question they automatically told me they were out of stock of what I was looking for..... before I could even get the sentence out of my mouth. So either your staff is incompetent or your out of stock of anything that I was about to ask for. (: that’s why this place sucks. Thanks for asking a year later. To: the owner that asked.

I remember when Jerry had this place rolling with customers. You had to always fight for a parking spot. He used to have virtually anything you could want for the outdoors. Now when I go in there it looks like a ran down pawn shop that's about to go under. The staff are uptight, rude and will not help you if you're standing at the counter. Overall the building is underutilized.

Went in looking for a 1911 Holster, said the would order one.2 weeks later still no holster once again said they would order for me, another 2 weeks still don't have it and asked for one more chance to get it for me. This time I waited 3 weeks. He said I didn't order you one and walked off. This place is a joke, there rude and the store is very cluttered.

The only place you can carry a rod and reel in and walk out with a new gun or whatever you want to trade , can't do that at any other sporting goods store around , local knowledge of fishing and hunting , the place is a part of Fort smithIf it's not there give them a chance to get it for youLove the place

Just called in to the store to literally just ask if they carried larger sizes in boots, the guy who answered said "I can't help you right now" and hung up. I'll stick to Gel-Co.

I dropped my bow off to get restrung two weeks ago. Every week I get told that they haven't gotten to it but they will the next week. They only have one person who works on bows and he never comes to work and if he does then he doesn't do his job.

I will NEVER shop there again!My son went in there to buy about 400.00 dollars worth of merchandise and he was totally ignored. They were NOT busy and the impression I got is that they thought they were better than us.SNOBS
