My puppy LOVES her groomer, Sam! The entire grooming staff are all so sweet and love on my puppy the whole time she's there. Sam even remembered and was excited to see Cozy back on her books. I'll keep bringing her back; I know Cozy's in great hands here! They even gave her a pretty little bow today!

Rude and dismissive staff.Just wanted to inquire as to why the store was no longer comfortable with selling or replacing a hamster that I recently bought from the store. Instead we (me & my brother) were told that the hamster had been punctured or bit from the back and front due to “visible” bleeding . The hamster was completely unscathed, we had no prior contact with the hamster the moment we took it out from its box to see if it was okay. The hamster had died the moment we arrived home from the store as seen in the images. The staff that inspected the hamster was very shady in inspecting the “wounds”, she had only glance over the hamster for a moment then concluded that the hamster was bit from some makeshift animal. Mind you, the hamster had been in the box the whole entire time up until the moment we checked on it. We went back to ask evidence about the supposed bite mark but the sales lady had already dispose of the poor hamster. We tried to argue on why they wont replace the hamster but they were deadset that we had harm the hamster. The only cause of death we came to was that the poor hamster had died due to excessive heat, not bleeding so we know they were full of it when they had said that. We have no air conditioning in our car but it was only a 30mins drive back and we had made sure to never leave it inside the car when we were inside a store and such. Overall I was disappointed of how the staff handled our transaction. They were very dismissive of what we had to say and felt like they were implying that we abused the hamster. We did not. I apologize if the images are unsettling to whoever comes across this post and thank you for giving it a read.

Groomers were very rude and turned us away for not having the right rabies vaccination paper. We’ve had the shot, and showed them her paperwork, but it wasn’t what they wanted to see. I can get a different paper, but the attitude was unnecessary and very unprofessional. We won’t be back.

Everyone was so nice! We met our new puppy as Adopt a Stray rescue met us in Ft. Smith. We got a couple of things for her and it went so well.

I can’t say enough about pet smart I absolutely love this store. The manager and employees are always attentive and friendly. I always find an array of items to purchase. I also love that for years they have always welcomed rescue organizations and held adoption events that’s where I got my chihuahua 6 yrs ago. Now that my chihuahua passed on at 16 yrs old I take my Pomeranian in there and they shower him with love. My Pomeranian has a very sensitive stomach so I buy his dog food there it’s the sensitive stomach by Authority and did you know some of their ingredients are sourced locally so in return helps our local corporations that employ our neighbors. I always donate to the rescue kitties they help to adopt out in store as well.

If I could leave a zero, I would. I purchased a dog door off of their website and paid with PayPal. The dog door was the wrong size. I took it to the store (unopened) to return it, and the store associate and manager said that since it was paid with PayPal, they cannot return it. I called the home office number and was told the same thing. You cannot even return it through the mail if you purchased using PayPal. PayPal has always been like using cash for me everywhere else so this rule seems so wrong. Once I was able to find the time to return to the store to exchange it for something I could use, I was then told it had been over 90 days now and I was unable to exchange it as well. I told the girl that I guess I should have just said that I didn’t have a receipt so I could have at least exchanged it still, and she countered with that she would still have to have the receipt to exchange it since it was a big ticket item. Really?!

UPDATE: The manager did give me a refund. Poor quality product ; not sewn completely with tail falling off, cheap material that picks up everything it touches, and incorrect sizing. Did not receive a message to pick up item, had to call to check on it. No answer at first when called to let them know I was there, second time a man answered and said was was going to have to wait because they were busy and laid the phone down. It took about 5 minutes for someone to pick up the phone, then another 10 to 15 to get my item. If you shop there, go inside to shop so that you can see what you are getting!

So ive had fish for years, but it's been a while since i had any. Went to ps specifically to get fish - one clerk was busy with another customer - the other busy with bettas. No one ever asked me if i needed any help and i asked the lady with the bettas to help me. I told her what i wanted and she proceeded to literally grill me about my tank, size, what was in it, etc - gave her the info and she had to confer with the other lady who said i shouldn't get the fish i want because my 20 gallon tank was too small, i had to have at least 30-40 gallons for that one fish. I believe, as the customer, if i wanna buy a fish and swim it in my toilet then that's my prerogative. Anyhoo, i have raised these fish for years and they grow to size of tank and if, when this little 1.5 inch fish tops out in my 20 gallon tank, i might upgrade, but not today - so then they both ignore me - i said um are you gonna sell me the fish or not? They eventually relented and let me have the fish i wanted, but i have NEVER been interrogated while trying to purchase a fish nor almost been denied because they didnt like my proposed setup - ive had fish longer than that lady has been alive and i will certainly take my business anywhere but there again! It's one thing for me to ask for advice if I'm new to fish, but to be interrogated to buy a fish is beyond ridiculous - petsmart wasnt too smart today and lost my business as well as anyone else i can convince - im sure they understand the power of blogs, social media, and local guides

I would have given it 3 stars based on some challenging communication with the one sales associate. After speaking with a a second associate, I believe the first associate just didn't understand what we were looking for. It was a simple misunderstanding of our needs. We were helped. We found the items we were looking for. And we are ready to begin our journey with our adopted baby 🐕

******2nd update*******Police report filed still waiting from the detective BUUUTTTT as well as I got a call from the District manager Jai Shrodder(don’t know if it’s spelled right) apparently there is NOTHING they can do about our money being stolen FROM THE MANAGER b said that there’s no cameras in the office where they have the safe so they can’t see her take our money….HOW IS THAT SAFE to have no camera in the room with the safe?! I’ll gladly accept the loss of the $292 but what PETSMART needs to do is realize that they have a thief working among them and I’ll leave this in the hands of Karma, cause one thing about Karma is the tables will always turn. Word of mouth goes a long way!!****Update***We were able to talk to the manager who did review the video, and older couple did return the Wallet which did fall out of the pocket in the store foyer (cart corral area) we asked if the customer fumbled with the wallet she said no he picked it up and retuned it right to an associate, we we replied “so your confirming the customer didn’t mess with the wallet and returned it so the money was still in the wallet when it was given to the associate but when returned to us it was missing, not to point fingers at anybody but do you see how it’s conflicting?” She responded immediately “I trust my managers so that’s,THAT!” From there we have filed a report with the police and have a detective looking into this.—Previous post below—I hope the $292 dollars that was stolen out of my wallet when it fell on the ground was worth it, apparently “an old man” returned my wallet from outside but only stole the money that was wrapped in a receipt instead of all the cash, when we went back to get it and noticed some money missing, the cashier seemed unwilling to get a manager to look at the cameras then when the manager was called (I think her name was Brittney) she rolled her eyes and smirked and made a face at the cashier thinking I wouldn’t see and was at a loss for words when I asked her not to make faces at my situation and to help when I asked for her manager. All I was wanting was for someone to show even A LITTLE compassion and caring that I was robbed of $292. Now the “highest of managers” shows up and they are telling me there’s nothing they can do, I ask for their manager or the store managers name so I can ask to speak to them and they “can’t give out personal information” they said they didn’t know the store managers name and if they did they couldn’t help me… so what is someone suppose to do if their personal items are stolen on property? I guess nothing because nobody can access any cameras and nobody can reach out to any managers or give any names of managers… sounds to me like this may have been an inside job and they didn’t realize I knew exactly to the dollar how much was stolen..

They had what we needed for our new kitten and it's a good store, but I never saw any staff walking around or helping people. Maybe I'm just unlucky and didn't see them, but we did have trouble finding a few things with no one but the cashier's in sight to help.

Our girl goes here for a bath and furminator treatment. She is getting older and has hip problems. This is the only grooming salon I trust to take care of her. The women here are friendly and care about the animals they groom. They do an excellent job! I am never disappointed with how our girl looks and know she is being watched over with care!

Nice place just it's a cat and dog store. I got a cute cat scratch for my bunny to play on. Not much in the way of fish, birds or rabbits.

Adopted a kitten from here a few weeks ago, everything seemed fine. Then her belly started growing super fast and with her being fixed plus the only cat, I knew she wasn't pregnant. Today my family came to the state to visit and here comes my cat. She has a long white worm hanging from her behind wiggling around. To say I was embarrassed 😳 doesn't even come close to the horror on the children's faces. They said she would be dewormed,fixed,and vaccinated. The entire reason for adopting rather than getting a free cat from some random on Facebook!!!!

A few weeks ago I purchased a tie out here. Paid $50 for it, but turns out it's only worth about $5. The line kinks easily and does not stay on the stake as it's designed to. They did not have the type I had intended to purchase. They only offered one style in a variety of different lengths.The staff was friendly and helpful. The employee who checked me out was very helpful in providing additional information to consider about my pet and his needs.This visit was my first time in the store. I will likely return to try some of the services they offer, but will avoid spending money on any other product here.

This place has everything you need for fish tanks. I was recently forced to get a tank for 2 goldfish my son won "for free" at a festival. Not so free in the end but not too bad and knowledgeable staff to help.

Gordon is absolutely amazing, and so very helpful/knowledgeable. I always get given outdated and improper information by the store associates on bearded dragon care and housing. I'm pretty knowledgeable so I just ignore the wrong info. I was pleasantly surprised today when Gordon helped me and actually knew what he was talking about. His customer service is above and beyond compared to others I've dealt with there. He should definitely be the reptile guy at this location, and everyone else should stop answering questions that they don't know the answer too. Proper beardie care changes frequently, and your associates need to be updated on their care. Nobody other than Gordon that I have spoke to knew what they were talking about. Gordon is the best of the best!
