In the short time I’ve lived in Ft Smith, this particular store has improved quite a bit in their customer service. I asked about it in the store one day, and an assistant manager told me there was pretty much all new management. I can tell a distinct difference. I just hope they keep it going.

Specific item was not located in the aisle as shown on the Lowe's app, but in the appliance section of the store. No problem locating mower battery just the refrigerator water filter.

I went shopping for prices on a project and looking for a new rug. No employee was around to help me with door questions ect but we did find a nice rug on sale. Original $289 purchased it for $113. They also had some great Halloween yard decorations!

This is a really difficult review for me to write because I love this store. But three of my last few experiences have been extremely disappointing. On one occasion, I saw an item online and called to make sure it was in stock and was reassured that not only was it in stock, but the person was standing right in front of it, looking at it. So I drove across two towns to get there and not only was the item not in stock, but it wasn't even available in this region. Not even to order online. It's happened before that the item was in no way available for this region even though online said it was in the store, but that was the only time that someone claimed they were standing right in front of the item. On another occasion, I asked to have a board I purchased cut and they cut it into three pieces instead of two. Of course I didn't notice until I was home. On another occasion, we deposited a large check and went to buy appliances. Turned out our bank floated it so we had to come back the next day. The next day, our total was about $300 higher and no one had an explanation for it. About a month later, one of the employees said that we spent so much that we got a contractor discount but when I asked about it, I was told that it didn't matter how much we spent, we wouldn't get a contractor discount. The inconsistency and their inability to tell us where the extra $300 came from was very irritating.

Just left Lowes in Fort Smith. We bought an in stock dishwasher. RUDE isn't a strong enough word for "The Appliance Guy" William! I actually told him he didn't have to be so rude, I just asked a question. GO TO HOME DEPOT people!

I went into Lowe’s today at about 1:30, my husband sent me to buy a battery pack chainsaw. As soon as I walked in an employee whose name tag said Shawn, asked if he could help me, I asked him to point me in the direction of the chainsaws. He said sure I’ll take you there. Which he did He asked me questions about which one I was interested in. Well I didn’t know it but they come in different sizes and blades. He helped me make the right choice, according to my husband. I went to self checkout and was out of the store in less than 20 minutes. I was very happy. Thanks Shawn.

I used to live in Fayetteville right by the Lowes in south Fay. The customer service there was off the charts. Let me just say that judging from the experiences I have had with many businesses in the River Valley, I am not surprised by the experience I had yesterday. My husband bought 2 lamp shades for me (using a card we share, apparently) several months back (it was sometime before Christmas). I have (rarely) taken items back completely packaged/wrapped and with tags on to Lowes in South Fay without the receipt and simply received store credit. These were 100% completely unopened lamp shades (2 of them). The girl at customer service without even a smile or any apology says “we can’t do this without a receipt or the card.” I said “are you sure because i have certainly returned items to Lowes without a receipt before…??” She say “well I’ve been told not to do it” (still with a very bad attitude/ tone). I said “ok well you can try these two cards, maybe it was one of these cards we share.” …turns out it was one of those cards but the return window had expired. Ok so then she says “i have to see if i can get an override.” Walks over to the girl she had been chatting with, acts a little confused, and then comes back and says “its outside the window.” Umm… ok but didn’t you say you needed to ask for an override? I am meanwhile looking right at the lamp shades from the counter that look identical to the ones I brought in. So don’t tell me you can’t simply place these right back on that shelf 10ft away. I ended up just leaving the shades and that Lowes kept the $50 or so bucks in value because what on earth am I going to do with lamp shades I do not need? I think if the girl was older or a little better trained in customer service i would not be writing this review. I worked customer service for Delta Airlines for 15 years and had to tell plenty od people no. There’s a good way of doing it and a bad way of doing it, and this girl was just bad at her job.

We waited for 30 minutes asking multiple people for assistance with items locked behind a screen only to never receive assistance. In all honesty, nearly every Lowe's store is like this. Don't even bother checking out Lowe's and just go to Home Depot. I must state that none of this is the actual Employees fault. They work hard and try to help. It's lowes as a company that's the problem

I love shopping online at Lowes for pickup at the Fort Smith store near me! So convenient and easy and priced competitively, and better quality than other home improvement stores ! My husband made this headboard and these coffee and end tables - beautiful!

I just applied to Lowe’s in Fort Smith AR - ok so someone tell me why their application says flexible scheduling and let’s you pick your schedule - but when you get an interview they tell you if you can’t work from open. ( 6:00 am till close. 10:00 pm or after ) - you aren’t hirable. ????!!!! Who in the hell these days who has a home , a spouse , kids ?? Has a fully open availability. ????!!!!!! - Damn Discrimination. !!!!!!!!

Trying to buy appliances was awful. Service in that department is lacking, even on a Monday...18 March 2024.Other departments was really great...Maybe the guy on appliances should get a bit of cross training.

We went to Lowes for flooring and received the best help. First Stephen was an exceptional employee he went above and beyond to help us figure out our issue we really appreciated his help. Then Tyler the manager was also super helpful and a absolute joy to talk to. We are used to getting the cold shoulder at the big box stores and this was not the case at the fort smith Lowes. We will definitely be shopping more there in the future because of the exceptional assistance.

On 2-4-24 the wrong color refrigerator was delivered....ahoild have been WHITE, NOT STAINLESS...it was taken back by delivery drivers.. no fault of theirs.. .have tried to reach out to store...phone DOES NOT RING AT ALL ..Customer service tried to contact them, transfered me to the #...no answer after 14 min of RINGING....called back to customer service 800#....she tried for almost 10 min..she got no answer either...POOR CUSTOMER SERVICE LOWES.... impossible to find anyone in store for help either...POOR SERVICE!!!!

I bought a house a couple years ago so ...lot of improvements to be made ...so many times I have went in this location to get things for home improvement and nearly every time I have been in there nobody can help me...special orders needed, no one knew how to do it, looking for items... well no one offers to help ...once I find someone they don't know but no one ever offers to find out nor do they offer to get someone to help...so today needed paint samples...well after looking at other items such as cabinets I needed I asked after finding paint colors if I could get paint samples ...I was told by the girl at the paint counter sorry I just clocked out...do u think she offered to get someone else??? No ma'am...I get so frustrated going in this place ...and I'm sure the ppl there won't mind if I don't return but I promise u IL drive the extra few miles to van buren or just open an account at home depot and take my business there...the ppl are not helpful, one guy one time was helpful w buying a light...thats it.

Very rude self checkout workers attacking people and falsely accusing them of theft just because their wand won't work right. My mom was harassed by a female self checkout worker who tried to accuse her of stealing and then it ended up nothing was stolen. My mom kept asking the lady to help her and the wand wasn't working and she had paid already and she still accused her, as my mom was leaving two more workers stopped her to go Thur her cart. When u have a customer asking for help and instead of help she's accused, my mom is elder and still learning self checkouts all this newer tech is difficult for elder people and it's like workers don't care to help, the self checkout worker has long blond hair and was younger my mom said, my mom got anxiety and didn't understand why she was being accused just because of y'all's equipment failure. My mom has now refused to go back to your store and is driving elsewhere to another Lowe's she says. I've never had issues at ur store but I don't appreciate my mother being attacked instead of ur working helping her as she kept asking multiple times. No offense to Lowe's but I've heard from a few more people that they also had similar to Same experience by the same young worker at self checkout. Idk who the young lady is but she needs to either be fired or trained better to help people and be more mindful that if the self checkout faults that there is no reason to accuse someone of stealing when it clearly showed she checked everything out. I've already spoken to a manager about the issue upset and I was kind with my words but not happy, the fact my mother isn't getting younger and it's not right the younger generation is just plan rude to the elders now days and don't care to help them. I'm disappointed in Lowe's for this and hope y'all speak to the worker for this I'm sure it's not hard to spot the worker who's younger female with long blond hair probably in her 20s or 30s. And what is sad is idk what the worker is thinking but now days younger generation acts out in stores like that because they think it's cool and will get them on the media, but just to inform that younger lady if she sees this, your actions have gotten you no where but a bad lable and rep that you are disrespectful and rude and have no respect for elders and you need to reeducate yourself on the policy and rules for working at Lowe's because your boss told me that you are not supposed to do that what u did and it was uncalled for and they will find out who u are and deal with it. Ur boss said that to me over the phone and tbh i run my own business and people like you lose your jobs and I'm my own manager and if u ever did that at my business u would be fired for the rude disrespectful attitude that was not necessary. This is a fact and I'm not harassing or bullying anyone so what I've said is the truth and that's that

Customers service is terrible they don't even speak or ask you questions. The helpers on the floor act like your a bother if you ask them for help. Would not recommend this place. But if it's all they have I guess you have to use them.

I had a washer and dryer delivered and put in they got water on my wood floor and scratched a peice on my wood floor I had to climb behind the dryer myself cut and 10 inches off the new dryer vent and redo it unreal tried to tell them it won't work for me they refused to redo the vent

Excellent Lowes Store. Everyone is always very friendly. I had my carpet installed by them and their contractors. They always do a professional job! Good Job Lowes!!!!

I bought a generator on one of the hottest days because the power was estimated to be out all day; however, by time we got home the power was back on. The wife took the generator back 1 week and 1 day later and was told they would not return because of what other people had done in the past. Weird, being their own policy still states a 30 day return for generators. Seems to be no problem with Home Depot where my wife thought I had bought the generator, because they had no issues before realizing I had not bought it there. There is no reason that people should be penalized for what others have done.

To long to explain but repeatedly received bad service it just happens to be less than a mile from my store we're remodeling. When the guy insists he can load you with the forklift, and you waste so much time after they try to send you down the road with 100 2x4 hanging out cuz door wont shut....or ya buy 14 boxes of their brand of flooring and forget transition strips and go back next day and they dont even stock them..its a special order ?? Thats just 2 examples ..or the request for help with hammer drill only to be sent with ? It goes on...left on hold waiting to talk to a manager.....

Not good. We purchased a frigidaire in July. Top ice maker didn’t work. It was deemed unrepairable. Trying to get a replacement had been hell to say the least. Never ever again.
