If I could give less then one star I would. This place is DISGUSTING. This is the third time I have been in here and it is the same every time. As the employees are on their phones talking to their friends, the store is an absolute cluttered and dirty place. This needs new management and a new staff completely. Even the hand basket had a such a thick layer of dirt inside of it.

I was just there. The store was unorganized and when I asked for assistance from the night shift manager she was very rude and unhelpful. Once my husband and I reached the register to checkout she made demeaning and insulting comments. I will never go back!

Was half-greeted by cashier, she proceeded to drop my items after bagging, doesn't apologize and then continued to laugh and joke with the next customer. Not saying any more words to me even after I said thank you and have a nice day. Completely ignored me. Rude.9/16 11am

The employees are very rude and act like you are not even there. They have very poor customer service. They hardly ever have anything. They were out of tons of things. Empty shelves. The old woman is the only nice worker there. Its sad that she works at that dollar general and not one that has more nice and patient employees. I would not recommend this store to any one. The employees are just awful.

My day started like any other day. Woke up, brushed my tooth, and emptied my colostomy bag. After adding that to my compost pile I realized I was in need of the General. Not the car insurance guy that Shaq is friends with. No sir. The DOLLAR General. Parking was sparse as there was a car meet in the parking lot. No worries. Just get it fixed next time. Unacceptable! I really like candy. Anyway. I waded ankle-deep through used needles just to make it to the frozen food aisle. Hungry man meals aren't what they used to be. Employees seemed to be carrying on hour-long conversations and kept giving me the "one second" finger with scowls on their faces. Left what I had there on the counter and walked out.

They are constantly stocking so the aisles are a little crowded but, other than that 👍🏽great selection, good prices, and a friendly staff.

Their space is small so it feels a bit crammed in but they do a good job. This is one of my favorite locations. They never have boxes blocking the way. Staff has always been curious. The restroom is not super clean but not nasty. If you use their app you get coupons added automatically at checkout when you type in your phone number. Every other week I get Gain laundry soap for 2$. No more coupons to cut out!

Terrible customer service. And let's talk about Alexis who is the manager. While I was asking her question at the checkout she was sitting there texting on her phone and when I asked her where an item was she said I don't know if we have that or not and went back to texting on her phone. I just think with her being the manager she would have tried to help me find the item. Even if she wasn't the manager and just an employee she should have helped me find the item or told me no sir we do not carry that I apologize. So when you go to the Dollar general be sure and say hello to Alexis and remind her that she needs to work on her customer service. This isn't the only occasion where she has been rude, there have been two separate events other than this where she is just been flat out rude. Alexis I'm telling you you need to work on your customer service because you're not pretty number one and number two you have terrible customer service. So quit acting like youre so hott you don't have to help customers. I have never had any other problems with any of the em.ployees there and they have all been friendly. I just expect more out of a store manager

I don't know how this DG location ever gets any rating higher than one star. Those reviews must be from a friend of a friend to keep the reviews from being minus one star. The LAST time I had to drop in there I was so disgusted and aggravated I'll never use that location again! The merchandise was just disastrous chaos. The isles were so full you could hardly walk thru to shop, and then there was Mercado's stacked in front of product that I needed. I tried, but I had to put my merchandise back and walked out!!! I don't know how anyone can shop there. And not to mention the store was also dirty. The floor was filthy right upon entering the store. - 1 *️⃣

This store is trash. There's people waiting outside and they won't open the doors because people didn't do their job and pull penny items the day prior. She came outside lying saying the system is down and called other people to come in and then pull the items. The store opens at 8 am not 9, not 10 this is wrong. We will all be calling corporate.

I like this one...unlike the other ones, there are no boxes all over the floor on EVERY ISLE. But the cashier is usually not at the register if shes not checking someone out, she's unboxing so you kinda gotta wait or find someone to notice you at the register. Friendly enough but you can tell they're a lil busy/preoccupied when you ask to be checked out. Not their fault. They have like 5 jobs to do as a cashier but I'm normally in and out and I love their seasonal isles

Normally we use the VB Pointer Trail DG, which is outstanding. The Phoenix Ave DG IS HORRIBLE. I’ve only been there a few times over the past year or so but each &every time the isles are clogged with the items they haven’t stocked. Today I had to squeeze sideways to even get in front door & few more times to shop. 1 cashier several people in line, after finish shopping still several people in line w/ several more behind me. I asked the other employee why not help check some of us out she said had to check in Coke delivery guy, she’s busy but didn’t know how to do it so kept interrupting THE ONLY CASHIER w/ questions. Meanwhile the 8 or so people in line wait while watching a customer having difficulty checking out-Line keeps growing-everyone is talking about how the place is always nasty and never any help. Definitely the worst Dollar General I’ve ever been in but on the other hand I’m comparing it to the best Dollar General store I’ve ever been in, the one in Van Buren.

Couldn't really get through the store seemed as if they were restocking, but boxes and trash we're on every isle. They seemed as though they were supposed to be restocking but the 3 or the 4 employees that were visible were all on one isle conversing. When I finally had what I needed and was ready to checkout it seemed as if I was interrupting their conversation. I probably won't return to this location, I'm only giving 3 Stars because of the young lady that was restocking and cleaning up things by herself!

The individual prices being rung up are not visible on the card reader and neither can you see the prices on the dim, archaic register facing away! So your total is a surprise, and you have no idea how much each item cost until AFTER you pay. Then you finally see the individual prices!

Ok for quick trips but they are always so clutteredThey only have a little older lady doing all the work with lines longer than Walmart. Other staff is sitting in office doing nothing. Never be back

Similar to my other Dollar General experience. Lots of products smashed into a small area, the staph semi helpful, and it could be cleaned a bit more often, but occasionally you find an extremely good deal. Still worth dropping in every now and then to see if you can find something worthwhile.

Ok let’s be real you aren’t going to find top shelf items here. But when you need one or two items and you don’t have time to enjoy the Walmart customer fashion show or deal with the lines and just want to grab and go, this place is a must!!! Recently moved cross country and there are no Dollar Generals here and I have really missed the convince of having one a few blocks away.

Manager accused me if stealing not too long ago! Made a big scene infront of customers and employees! I emptied my pockets(of course), shoes, everything I could think of! She apologized after I had to show her where I put the item on the shelf(geez, sorry it wasn't put back where I got it from!), but how embarrassing! I've never been spoken to in such a way... It was a horrible experience and I'm still kinda very angry about it! She was just rotten!!!

Small store so everything was crowded in. They had the delivery boxes in front of most of the items I wanted to look at, so I don't know if they had what I was looking for. The people that were working there were nice though.

They have great sales on coke and Pepsi products. The only complaint I have about their stores, is that it's too crowded. The walk ways are hard to get through alot of the time.

I really like Dollar store. Buy all my birthday, anniversary, get well cards, etc here. Good selection of them and usually 2 for $1.00. I get many other items as well and at good prices

I usually stop at my local DG however, I stopped at the DG in Fort Smith to grab a few items for the ride home. While in there I noticed they have items not found at my local store.

Nice hangers from other stores are $1 here i got 16 bundles whereas at wm i could of only gotten 2. Exact same ones.
