On a trip moving from Ohio to Texas all I needed was a bed to sleep in and that’s exactly what I got. No phone in the room, had to go to the desk to get a tv remote. No breakfast either even though the lobby is set up for it.Front door locked until 7:00am so I had to walk to the far end of the building to get out. Wasn’t easy since I was using a cane. Still not bad for only looking for a place to crash. Just know it’s very, very basic.

No free breakfast, front desk service isnt 24 hrs. Room wont get cold, bed not the greatest, for their prices you can do better somewhere else. Oh None of the side entrances work here.

Places is very outdated. Places advertise breakfast but they DO NOT offer breakfast and actually have the breakfast sign covered up . Only offer coffee that isn’t even hot. Place is only good for if you need a quick place to crash.

Blankets and sheets were unwashed and filthy as well having holes in them. Mirror on the wall was badly cracked. Some type of liquid was stained and splattered all over the door and wall. Room and lobby have zero amenities, not even soap or shampoo was in the room. The grab bar in the shower was loosely placed in its spot with nothing holding it in. I actually fell when I needed to grab ahold of it, and it came right out. The AC in the room was nonfunctional to the point where I woke up sweating. Stayed in a smoking room and had zero ashtrays along with hundreds of burn marks on the carpet, which had also obviously not been cleaned in a long time. The manager/owner was extremely rude and unprofessional. He was on his phone the entire time and said that I would have to wait 20-30 minutes just to get a receipt for the room. Cleanliness of the entire hotel was beyond inadequate overall. Theres not a chance I would stay here again even for free. I have added photos down below.

There was nothing Super about this hotel. The shower had hot water, the air conditioner in the room worked and the mattress was reasonably comfortable, they did pick up the towels every day and made the bed but didn’t change the sheets . There was no breakfast, no coffee in the room, my mini fridge didn’t have any shelves in it. The owner/manager kept the doors in the hall and lobby open to avoid using ac which let mosquitoes in. Both chairs in the room were very stained. They didn’t vacuum the carpets, furniture was sticky, etc. etc.

March 2023 I read reviews of how nasty and about the roaches and this and that. I didn't see any roaches or any bug of any kind!The room wasn't sparkilng clean but it wasn't extremely nasty neither.It's dated for sure there isn't anything fancy, nothing has been replaced for years .The bathroom was in good condition, towels smelled like bleach was used.Bed was off balanced wasn't all the way supported so the bed set funny of you're on the edge.Super convenient, gas stations food places highway.The surrounding of the hotel is unpleasant nothing fancy cute relaxing or appealing. Sleep and go.Another thing checking out no one was available absolutely no one, it was dark no lights on NOTHING. Never experienced that in my life.I wouldn't give these people a cash deposit I'm sure you wouldn't get it back

From the beginning front desk guy was extremely rude. He gave me a price bbut. He couldn't charge me beecause the system was down. He then sent a lady who gave me a different price. I ask of they provide breakfast and she said no because of "covid". The price is not worth it because they do false advertising. Both employees were rude and acted like they are doing you a favor and they are doing it for free. They should not work in customer service if they cant even be nice.

Charged a 50 dollar cash deposit was told would get it back when we checked out. No one was around. Tried calling had the phone off the line, waited 20 minutes for someone to go to the front desk. Had a paper and a bin you checked out on. Using people recpets that had card numbers and signitures. Said they had free breakfast, they didn't. Was a dead roach in fridge. Should've read the reviews before staying here. Would've been better sleeping in the car.

First of all, the rooms is absolutely disgusting and the staff I dealt with were very rude. But the reason I am really writing this review is because of what happened with one staff member in particular. There is a front desk clerk named Megan Arnold, who LITERALLY STOLE MY IDENTITY with the information I had to provide to get a room. She stole my credit card information, and the information to use my rewards points for Wyndham. How do I know it was her? When she began making reservations with my credit card, and using my rewards points to book rooms she was dumb enough to have her name attached to the reservations. I have filed police reports already. I just wanted to post here in case anyone is at risk of dealing with this identity thief if they stay here. I can only hope this hotel FIRES Megan Arnold immediately.

Wish I'd read the reviews. Front desk lady was very friendly, but the rooms had a weird smell and the blankets were stained. We would have left (the smell was that strong!) but nothing else in town was available. No breakfast! Not even a cup of coffee!! Older and Clean enough, but the smell and no coffee brought it down to a 2 from a 3. The only reason it was not a 1 was the beds were comfortable and the friendliness of front desk.

I had some trepidation about staying here because of previous ratings. I had no reason to worry. My room was clean.I do have to say that there was a lot of slamming doors inside. There was some jackwagon revving their car next door Not the owner's fault.Yes, it is older furniture, but my bed was comfortable. The sheets were clean. The Wi-fi was fine.If I need to nitpick, the water pressure was low, some of the baseboards were coming away from the wall, there wasn't a coffee pot.If you want to spend more money for a room you are going to spend very little time in, knock yourself out. But if you need a place to rest from the road this place delivers nicely.

DONT COME HERE, ANYWHERE ELSE IS BETTER.First of all; the rooms are horrible. Fridge doesn't close and there was bugs in it, burn holes in sheets, carpet on the floor is broken and dirty, fan in the bathroom makes horrible squeaking noise, tv doesn't work and the whole hotel smells like weed.If only that was the only thing...the man at the reception was not welcoming at all. Passed my card before telling me how much it was. I signed a paper with a price on it only to realize they charged me more because of pet fees (that he didn't mention and was NOT on the paper i signed). When i went to the reception to address the matter, it was another person and she just told me if im not happy i can take my pets and go somewhere else but they are the only one in the area accepting pets (her words). She was very rude and acted like they were doing me a favor and i should not complain about the extra secret fee. This isn't legal. You can't make someone sign a receipt and then charge more and assume they know about the pet fee.

No one is ever at the front counter. I needed change for the dryer and stood at the front counter for 15 minutes and no one ever showed up. Did that 3 different times and finally just had to go get change at gas station. Most of the plug ins didn't work in the room. Toilet stopped up every time it flushed regardless if you put toilet paper in it or not.

A drive by of this place will tell you everything you need to know. The room was "kind of" clean, the toilet paper pre-installed in the peephole was a nice touch. Reception guy was a bit stiff and made us move our truck, in case another semi came in at the same time, which clearly hasn't happened since the early 90s when this place was last remodeled..Had better conversation with the homeless lady that lives behind the dumpster. (5 stars, nice dog) Don't get up looking for breakfast, you'll be disappointed, the lobby was dark at 9am. I digress, who would set all that up for 3 guests anyway? Head over to the sawmill Cafe for that. $82 smackers for a room seems pretty pricey, but if you're reading reviews you know that all the places around here about the same. Good luck with this town 🤞

Really gross. Better to sleep in the car. I am glad I brought my own pillow and blanket on the trip. No smoke detector first off. Everything is broken as shown in pics. Even the key card is bent like it has been chewed on. Hotel smells like cigarettes even in a non smoking room. Refrigerator is broken and no shelves. Shower had hair in it, sink sprays out at lightning speed when you turn the water on, spraying all over everything and then the drain is slow like it is clogged. Just to name a few things. I could go on for sure. Definitely not recommended

If I could give it no stars I would. Moldy restrooms and rooms. Stained and dirty carpets. Toilet didn’t work. Musty smell in rooms. Water pressure in shower was horrible. Overall very dirty. Even for $80 a night not worth the money.

No trash cans in the lobby/bathroom. Had to wait to get checked in because nobody was at the front desk at 4 in the afternoon!! Desk clerk was very rude!! Hotel needs serious upgrades carpet is beyond filthy. Cleaning in the rooms is half done. I don't expect luxury for the price but if the hotel isn't great at least the hospitality could be! Only stay if you have to!!

My toddler found a pill in the floor. No one around, no lights on in lobby and extremely dark in the middle of the afternoon, cleanliness is very questionable. Absolutely "zero" extra Pillows due to covid, is what they said. The pillows that are in the room are so lumpy and short they don't even cover the bed. Not ideal for traveling with tiny humans. I can only imagine how many times my kid is gonna bang her head tonight thanks to the huge gaps. Floor is filthy and unvacuumed. Tripping hazard hanging off the wall. Dirty refrigerator. Would not recommend nor would ever stay here again.

I would not let my dogs even stay here!!! I was broke down on interstate 40. Looked on Priceline to book a room while my vehicle was getting fixed. Arrived and was greeted by the worst mannered man on earth. He told me I was not allowed in the lobby to wait on my room. There was no air condition running. There was two people outside cutting the grass. The grass was two feet tall. They told me the place was closed for a year because homeless people and dope fiends took it over. It reminded me of the Carter projects from the movie New Jack City. Really messed up deal that Priceline even had this place on its website. $110 down the drain. I walked down the street and checked into Econolodge, great place to stay... The super 8 in Forrest City, Arkansas was similar to kandahar, Afghanistan.

Stayed for one night during a cross country road trip. Got up at 8 am for breakfast, but nothing was there except the same coffee machine from last night. Front desk person said breakfast service has been stopped and was planned to be resumed at the end of August (28th supposedly). Room smelled terrible - good thing we had a room spray to hide it. Stains on sheets and towels, floor was beyond filthy. Stay away from this place as others suggested. We were desperate and had very little by way of options at 10 pm with small kids in tow.

kind of expensive for what you get : no coffee/tea machine in the rooms, could be cleaner, no breakfast. We found only one towel in our room. For one night absolutely ok, beds and pillows are comfy and clean, silent area.

The guy at the front desk is rude. Our room smelled of sewage and the beds were like sleeping on the floor I would not recommend this hotel. If you are reading this please keep going. It smells and it’s not clean at all. I like staying at super8 hotels but this one is by all means the worst. It’s to bad to cause this would be a good place for a good hotel. Wyndham should really step in.
