We rented an ABB up the road for a large group to celebrate a 50th birthday. I wanted a boat available all week for us to fish. I had called Steve a month or so earlier and he got us all set. The river boat was spotless and the newer Mercury engine ran great. The bait shop there has everything you need and Steve and his wife were super friendly and helpful. Thank you for helping make our trip to the White River Great!

My stay at the white hole resort was amazing. They are wonderful host and cook some amazing food. I did the guided fishing as well and caught some pretty nice fish. Our guide Phillip was great and knew where to catch the big fish. I will be back to stay and fish again. The staff are all so wonderful and kind. If you're looking for a great resort white hole resort is a great one.Rooms: The rooms were nice and clean. They have grills outside all the rooms.Food & drinks: The food was amazing and the steak was my favorite meal of all.Noteworthy details: Great views of the river.

Our fishing group used "Matt" on a guided tour. He asked for beers, food, and tobacco, while on the trip. He also agreed to trade 2 guided fishing trips for a hunting trip we would host in Texas. The owner Steve was informed and made aware of our arrangement. On the second day, at the end of the fishing trip, he said we owed him $800. We would have never fished with him again had we known he would go back on the deal that both him and the owner Steve were aware of. The owner Steve did nothing to make this right, and we ended up having to pay on top of the $100 dollars we tipped him. Take on ones word at this establishment.

Our family and friends stayed here two weeks ago..we experienced outdated, old mattresses, flooring and appliances. The bed linens and blanket are stiff and stale, bring your own pillows etc. Window AC units with mosquitoes all around it on the inside (vibe killer). Limited/ slow average channels even with “dish”..they look short staffed and they will and so sacrifice the needs of guests unintentionally & unknowingly. They been here so long, maybe they are stuck in their routine and worried about other phases of life. You can spend the same or a little more $ for better accommodations and service at Stetsons.

What a great place! We had a group of 6 men there for 4 nights for a trout fishing trip. The cabin was clean and well equipped. The owners were friendly and helpful and their rental boats were perfect for fishing on the White River. The bait shop was small but well stocked. We had a big breakfast each morning at the dining hall but otherwise fixed our own meals. I’m looking forward to returning here again.

We stay here a few times every year. Boats are priced well and the dock is right here. The public access dock is next door and has an entrance next to White Hole’s dock. Great fishing from the bank and better fishing from the boats.

White hole was a fantastic place to stay! Steve and Lin were very courteous and answered any and all questions that we had with ease. The cabins were roomy, cozy, and everything we were looking for to make our stay a breeze. The majestic view of the white river from our cabin was a daily added bonus. Will definitely return to this beautiful place!

I got teamed up with Buck as my guide for the fishing. I hadn't been fishing in 50 years, and I was a bit nervous as to the possibilities. Buck is the absolute BEST guide you want to go fishing with! He knew where all the fish were. Hands down. I caught a 12" Rainbow my very first cast. I caught another about the same size on my second cast. Three casts later, I had a third. Caught my limit before 10 am, including my biggest fish, a 14 1/2" Rainbow trout. Threw fish back all day hoping to catch the elusive Brown Trout. The second day was more of the same. Buck motored to a spot, "cast there", fish in the boat. Done. He knows the river perfectly, led me to a spot, and caught my biggest fish to date: 21 1/2" Brown Trout.The rooms are cozy and relaxing, with a view of the river from the deck.Steve in the office is top notch when it comes to customer service. I had a very enjoyable fishing trip, and will love to come back again.

White Hole was beautiful! The staff were friendly, the cabin was clean and comfortable, and the lake was amazing to be next to. Keep in mind this is a place where lots of people come to go fishing. The cabins are homey and even have the amenities of a little home (refrigerator, oven, cooking utensils and eating utensils, several sleeping arrangements and quilted bedding, small tub with shower). It is a wonderful little getaway and is not a spa. If you like being comfortable, quiet, on the river and in the loveliness of the beautiful nature that Arkansas has to offer, this place is absolutely perfect! Highly recommend and will definitely be returning!!

Great accommodations and great food - Stephen can smoke some great tasting meats - or cook your own in the cabin kitchenettes. The fishing was great with top guides and great boats. They have all the gear you might need or want to buy or rent. The river is clear and cold - a nice break from the heat of summer. The fog rolling in at night off the water was a great treat. A great setting with plenty of wilderness buffer around the campgrounds. You feel like you are really in nature with comforts. Not pretentious or fancy, but very comfortable. I'll be back.

Steve and Linn are the best hosts. I've been coming here for years and this place is great. Cabins are nice, clean. Position on the river is enviable. Good trout fishing, fellowship, and decompressing in nature.

What a great place very clean rooms great boats for rent. Great fishin wish i could have thanked the guest that give me some zig jigs i had never heard of and my wife and i caught a lot of fish on them. We were there on our 43 wedding anniversary we go every year trout fishin and will return to the white river area next year. Carolyns razor back ribs is the best ever.

We stay at White hole every year in May. Great location on the river. Nice, affortable cabins. The boats are perfect for getting us to the good fishing spots on the river. Steve is a great host.

Had a great time Steve and wife took care of my group. Steve and his wife took great care of us the breakfast was great. The lodging was just what we needed. The boats were in great shape and good motors on them all. Steve pointed me in the right direction for lure selection for the browns and he was spot on caught some really nice ones. They also have a great selection of bait and lures that they are hitting while you are there. I will be back with the group I went with and will probably be back before that to chase the big boys.

I’ll drive from Tulsa Oklahoma to Whitehole resort at least twice a year Steve and his family are very nice very helpful and sometimes we arrive late like one 2 o’clock in the morning because of work are cabin is unlocked the air is on and he opens up his office early enough to get started catching fish the only thing I wish they could do was make the fish but sometimes I just don’t want to .LOL Recommend this place to anyone who loves cold water crystal clear good hospitality fish on
