Petland doesn’t have the best reputation, but I tried this store anyway because they had the puppy I wanted. I rescued a puppy mill dog once years ago (not from petland) and had to deal with a lot of issues. That’s why I was impressed with this particular store and how well they kept everything clean and well managed. Her temperament is astoundingly good and that’s how I know for sure they did a good job caring for her until she found her forever home with us. I’ve had no issues with her health or mental state. The staff seem to love their jobs and they are knowledgeable and available. Eddie and his wife were fantastic. I cannot say for sure anything about what goes on in the background or about any other store in another city or state. These chains are independently owned. I am against puppy mills and mills should be outlawed. This store showed me she was from a kennel and seeing for myself that she was well adjusted without issues was a good experience. I am just super happy to have my new fur baby. I updated this post a few months after getting her.

Amazing experience! Sophia and Eddie treated me like a Queen buying a huge jewel. I have never experienced such great customer service. They showed kindness and excellence with such a personal touch! I got my dream dog and so much helpful information. The bag of goodies for her blew me away! She is so happy here already and I am her human no doubt, Thank you to the moon and back! I recently purchase a very cute pug puppy from here and I absolutely love the staff! They are very friendly! When I purchase my puppy a couple weeks ago, Eddie was the one that helped me... I was very impressed because he worked very hard to make it possible for me be able to bring my baby home! I have never seen anything more willing to do whatever they could to bring you together with a furry friend. He is very professional and friendly! I definitely recommend this pet store to anyone looking for the next furry family member, because if there is a way they will find it!

Wow. Out of every petland I have ever visited Rogers and Fayetteville are of the nicest, cleanest, and most transparent. After they opened the Fayetteville location, we made a trip to check it out and met Eddie. He was immediately welcoming, kind, and helpful. Fast forward to some other visits to see and play with puppies but never finding the perfect fit, Eddie was always helpful and kind even when the decision was made to not purchase a puppy. Today, after visiting the store and falling in love with a mini golden doodle with a great temperament and super fun personality, the decision was made to purchase her. Throughout this process Eddie was always there answering questions, providing information, and even making sure she would be a great fit for the family. Not only is he a great salesman, he’s very knowledge about dogs and provided great information on training, introducing her to other pets, as well as veterinary information. Most salespeople would remember you and remember you not purchasing and not offer any time, Eddie is different. I highly recommend you visit Eddie if you are looking to add a four legged friend to your family. He’s truly great. Thank you Eddie!

I will be completely transparent, I am a strong support of "Adopt Don't Shop," but Petland does things differently from anywhere/anyone else that I know who has purchased their puppy/dog.I was in Arkansas for a wedding and my boyfriend has always wanted a dog, specifically a Beagle to name it Bagel (long term goal of his). Any chance I get to try and find him a Bagel, I take it. We arrived at Petland which carries everything you need to get started on your journey, and it was so clean and well kept. The area that the puppies were in was very clean and they really make sure that health/safety of customers, employees AND puppies is accounted for. When we got there, unfortunately there was no Bagel to be found, but my boyfriend asked me "isn't this the kind of dog you always wanted?" And so, Biscuit the Mini Aussie Shepherd was found.Purchasing an AKC Certified pup is an investment, but the way that Eddie (4/14) and Rachel (4/15) took the time to explain the whole process to us, the values of the owners, and the quality of life they wish to start their pups off with, and guarantee so much within the first leg of the journey to help make sure that puppy starts with the healthier life; I couldn't have felt more comfortable with my decision. From a very objective lens, they ensure the WE are taken care of and that in the event anything happens to pup, we will never be without a furry friend. As a first time dog owner, they really do provide you everything you could need before you walk out of the door to be successful.The manager Austin was also super sweet and accommodating as we let them know we would sign the papers but not be able to take Biscuit with us until Sunday and they said no problem at all. Petland Fayetteville really started my boyfriend and I off on our puppy journey feeling super confident and as prepared as we can be. Obviously it is a learning curve but overall we are so overjoyed.I can't speak for any other Petland locations, but everyone at Fayetteville was amazing and I'm so thankful to have met them and have them help us. I look forward to the continued relationship we will have with them and would recommend them to anyone who is local (or even not) and looking to get an amazing fur baby. Not sure how anyone associated with this business sleeps at night. My entire experience with petland has felt like a slow-motion train wreck. Don't finance- I was told 0% interest the night I purchased my dog. That quickly changed to “it’s actually 0% after the first four months”. The reality is I was being charged $4.00 a day in interest the second I walked out. When I went to pay my dog off in full their processing company (Covered Care) made it almost impossible. I had many questions regarding discrepancies but couldn’t get a call or email back. Find a breeder, don’t go here. Holding an adorable puppy can make any Scrooge smile, however everything about this place is so insanely corrupt. I love my little Todd, but learned a lot of lessons from these liars.

The best place for people to go and get a puppy is at Petland in Fayetteville, Arkansas. Make sure when you do to ask for the manager Eddie.He went above and beyond to make sure that we was able to walk out of there today with a puppy for my daughter.He was very kind and courteous.Along with all the employees. Eddie was very helpful and explained and answered questions that we may have had . My daughter and I give this place the best rating possible. If for any reason anyone ever needs a puppy please make sure to ask for Eddie.

Eddie was absolutely amazing! He worked with us and found us a payment plan we could afford so we could take our sweet fur baby home! He set us up with supplies and plenty of knowledge on how to care for her properly! He is very skilled and knowledgeable! He is the best sales man I have ever met! Our first time buying a puppy and it went amazingly! The staff is beyond kind and caring and they go out of their way to make the experience even better for each customer! Eddie was who helped my family the whole time, from being so incredibly friendly and descriptive with everything he’d tell us! I was more prepared to bring home our sweet puppy than I was when I brought my son home from the hospital 😂. Overall truly an incredible place to go get your next family member!

Oh my goodness it was amazing the workers did great and helped us with everything we need to find our sweet fur baby!! Eddie did amazing job he worked with us and showed us puppies and knew about them and did amazing!! He were having a couple of issues with cards and account things and they work with us and did it with smiles the whole time!! I give them five stars !! 🌟 amazing experience after we pay this puppy off and when we want a new fur baby we will definitely be returning and sending our friends and family!! We came in not looking for a puppy but after playing with this cute Shiba Inu we knew we had to take him home, everyone was so helpful! After getting him, we have came into the store a few times and they have always been so welcoming and friendly! Sofia and Eddie are they ones who help us with all the paperwork and walked us through everything that we needed for our puppy. They are so nice and we always look forward to coming in, thanks to them we got to have the sweeties of good boys in our little family! I can’t think them enough!

10/10 experience, made a reservation to see the puppy the morning of. Upon arrival to the store I was immediately showed to a play pin with the puppy. They were extremely helpful and catering to helping me purchase the puppy. I walked out with my new puppy within an hour or so. Eddie gave me a detailed explanation of what to do in terms of getting him his upcoming shots, a few training tips, and provided me with a few videos on how to care/train him. They gifted me a kennel and a whole puppy package for free that came with an assortment of goodies to care for my new puppy. Thank you again Eddie and all the other workers who helped make my dream of becoming a dog mom to the goodest of boys come true. 🏼

Just don't know how they can justify their pricing on pets?! We set aside enough money to pay breeder equivalent prices and we were really shocked at the mark up! We set up an appointment to see a puppy but I called ahead to make sure of the price so we could bring enough to pay in full. I was placed on hold for a while & they tried to convince us to "just come in" so they could "explain what their pricing includes". After insisting on knowing the price, i was quoted $5k for a Boston Terrier pup?!! Their contract included things like spay/neuter and a replacement puppy if something happened to ours within 2 yrs...but when I asked about reduction in pricing for things we deemed unnecessary (we have our own vet so we didn't need theirs or their vaccinations after purchase etc) I was told the puppy contracts are non-negotiable and price was what it was. The contract obviously has interest added into the payments and if we had chosen a payment plan that $5k would easily ballooned to double. This place seriously wants to sell families a dog for the price of a car! It wouldn't feel like a scam if they didn't intentionally try to jump around pricing questions and get you into the store to push the contract on you. I get having retail pricing since the store is the middle man but when an average purebred is priced almost triple the breeder cost, theres just no excuse. SMH.

Eddie was such a huge help he helped me pick out the dog of my dreams and I love her to death she's awesome if it wasn't for Eddie I probably wouldn't have been able to choose which dog cuz I love all dogs but when I saw her Eddie automatically said that's the one and he was like a set of such a huge huge help he made it so easy to take her home you know with the applications you know he practically you know walk me through it not practically but he did walk me through it if it wasn't for him I don't know what I would have done because I've been to other places and they you know we're rude and you know if I had any questions they weren't there to answer them and Eddie stood by my side the whole entire time and kept me posted and he just made the experience wonderful so I just want to thank Eddie very very much he's a wonderful wonderful man he is in the right job field by all means and I am definitely going to pass it on to my coworkers my family my friends if they ever want a dog to definitely go there and ask for Eddie
