On the fence with this one. They have a good selection of plumbing repair parts. However, the parts appear to be sub-grade vice OEM. Was overcharged for an item which was not informed of the price until it was too late. They were relying on an antiquated price list on the wall which none of the employees to incl the manager was sure of the accuracy. In any case a large selection of diverse hardware. Some of the other local HD stores recommend as an alternate source of supply.

I wish I knew the name of the gentleman that helped us. My daughter's AC went out (in July no less) and on a weekend. My husband is not "certified" and doesn't have an HVAC license but in his field of work he deals with various electrical components and has learned a lot from other tradesmen. He went over and determined it was the capacitor that needed replaced. Most of the places that would sell to a non HVAC person were closed. He even called a popular HVAC company and asked them if he could buy one from them. They don't sell to the public which is totally fine but my husband said well how much would it cost for you to come out and replace the capacitor? All they kept saying was "it costs this much for us to come diagnose the problem but that fee is waived if we do the work the same day" and "I can't give you a price because I don't know if that is the problem ". All I wanted to know was IF the capacitor turns out to be the problem, then how much would it end up costing for you to replace it? So my husband spent the entire morning calling places to see if he could find what he was looking for and came across Johnsons Hardware! I say all the previous so you can understand the frustration. Right from the phonecall this gentleman was helpful and honest! He said he didn't know much about that area but he would look and try to find it. As they were on the phone he was digging through different boxes and low and behold found it!!! And it was only $14.00! When my husband went and picked it up this gentleman was trying to help another customer find some answers and even printed information to help the customer. They care about their customers. We are so thankful they were open and for their help. My husband got it replaced and my daughter's house is not an oven anymore. We will definitely keep this company in mind for our future needs. Thank you, Johnsons Hardware, for honesty, integrity, and caring about more than a sale.

DON'T DO BUSINESS HERE!! I rented a U-Haul trailer here. This place was HORRIBLE!! Never again will I use this place. The trailer had NO TAIL LIGHTS. The wires had been spliced!! The man said to use "hand signals". He refused to get us a different trailer because he didn't want to redo paperwork. He expressed that he did not like being in the U-Haul business. We were in a bind so we had no choice but to take the damaged trailer at the same rate of a working trailer. I cannot believe the level of unprofessionalism from the salesman. You obviously don't care about the safety of your customers or if they get a ticket from the police. The salesman was a bald man, average height and was working the afternoon of April 1 2023 and checked us out at 2:21 pm. Possibly hispanic and wore a face mask. Be prepared to hear from the U-Haul home office as I have collected audio and picture evidence proving all you said today and what the trailer looked like at first sight. You are irresponsible and obviously in the WRONG line of work. WORST EXPERIENCE EVER!!!!

Super helpful, friendly staff. There were several people who worked together to help me find a solution for parts. They ended up having a set (for cheaper than Amazon, by the way) that was much easier for me to install than the makeshift idea I had walked in with. Everything worked without a hitch!! Rare when doing anything with plumbing. Fluffy sweet dogs to pet too!! Thanks!

They are always expanding the selection. If you're looking for a unique item and a knowledgeable staff, check this place out. Free Popcorn most days and a wood burning stove in the winter. Great local store.

Came here for the u-haul. Everyone was very friendly and made everything easy and smooth. Answered any questions I had patiently. Also we had never been here before, but my husband will probably be coming back to check out the hardware store if we’re in town again!

We just returned a pickup rental today.Even though their systems were experiencing technical issues, the entire exchange was fantastic.Trent was great to work with and demonstrated exceptional customer service skills, even under the stress of dealing with a flood of customers and faulty point of sales systems.We will come back.

Lined up a uhaul one month ago. Upon arrival told we had to drive to another town to get it. Not good business! Also told not open till 0900 and they were open at 0800.

This place is shady. I would not be surprised to find they had purchased the other reviews on this site. They have a 2 week return policy that they do not disclose up front. They also will not accept returns on weekends for some mysterious reason (making it difficult to effect a return at all). They oversold to us - and would not accept a return brought in 15 days after purchase. The items not been used nor opened and, yes, I had my receipt. Why were we making a return? Because their salesman sold us a drill bit - saying we would most definitely need it - when it was not needed at all.

Helpful and friendly staff. They carry a wider variety of items than you may think for it being a smaller store. For example, I went in looking for a replacement handle for a sliding glass door. Lowes did not carry the correct style I was looking for. But johnson hardware had every selection that lowes did, plus more. I found exactly what I needed and didnt have to worry about ordering it offline.

This is the BEST place in town for all your plumbing supplies. There are people available to help you. Their prices are competitive. If you want to get it done right with only one trip to the store, then this is the place.

Never knew this place existed until today. They were truly amazing. Way better than all of the big box stores. I believe in local businesses that treat you like you are someone special. In the future I will always go to them when I need something.

Rented a uhaul truck for Saturday morning with a pickup scheduled at 9:00 a.m. I waited from 8:55 a.m. until 10: 00 a.m. - employee was an HOUR LATE to show up. Then the two employees could not get the computer to work. So, I had to cancel the uhaul rental but still had to pay the fellow I hired to help me move for his time. AND I had to wait an additional week to move. I work 6 days a week, 10 hours a day. They wasted my Saturday and cost me money and precious time. I suggest using another uhaul provider.

Friendly dogs, helpful workers and you're not supporting Wal-Mart. Also, they found rollers for my patio door the big chain stores said they couldn't get.Shop there, pet the dogs, and support your local store owners.

Old school family run business hardware store, this place is a part of Fayetteville history and I would never go to another hardware store in town. My one complaint is that, as it's a family business the hours are more limited compared to the big hardware/lumber stores.

Folks if Ya need that little oddball nut or bolt, that screen repaired, that clamp or blade sharpened You can get it at Johnsons Hardware, oh I forgot I also rented a U-Haul there too !! I came from a rural town and this store was God sent for me, if they ain't got it You don't need it !!
