Halberts has always been the best place in town to get bones for your dogs. They are so much cheaper and safer than the bones you get at the chain pet stores. I highly recommend checking out their dog bone supply and everything else they have, while you're in there. We also got chickens about a year ago. They have just what we needed for our fluffy sweethearts, including their new addition of live mealworms!

Halbert's is awesome, the owner is really knowledgeable and very sweet and eager to help. If there's something you want that he doesn't have in stock he is quick to order and get stuff in fast as well. If there's a question you how about your animal he is either able to help to the best of his ability or knows somebody down the line of his who does know or can help. Reasonable prices good selection, definitely recommend!

My friend found this place. We were looking for a pet store that would have a choice of flea and tick prevention for our dogs. This is a great place. We've been by it many times and never realized it was here. Has so many great supplies and goodies for your pets of all sorts. I wish I had found this place sooner. We will definitely be back.

I visit now and then hoping they have a window hummingbird feeder but, no, not one! So I bought senior formula food for my fat cat Elsa. I would urge neighbors to visit this place for anything pets... Handy location on MLK Jr. at Fwy. 49. 😇

Nice place. Variety of livestock and pet goods. Lots of natural chew toys for dogs. Lots of stuff you can buy in bulk and save money over packaged goods in large pet stores. They carry a lot of veterinary type medications and such that cant be bought at large chain stores. Prices are very reasonable. Staff is friendly and helpful. This place never lets me down. Certainly a business that is needed so I hope for many more years of prosperity. Lots of great products that work. Not the chain store watered down junk. Traffic can be a tad rough trying to travel West but hey its worth the pain. Do like I do and turn east then turn around. Its no harder to access than the fast food chains down the road. And this store certainly has more importance than those places lol. Lets do our part to keep Halbert in business. These types of places need and deserve our patronage more than the big monster box stores.

Staff is always helpful and willing to work with you. If they don't have something they can order it. They're the only store that carries Diamond Naturals at a reasonable price and they have a huge selection of natural pet treats. Great place to go for some non-emergency veterinarian advice without the vet bill.

Wonderful pet supply store!They have most anything you need, vaccinations, medications, feed, and toys.Excellent customer service, you can call ahead and they will have your order ready and bring it to your vehicle. Have questions? They have answers or will find out for you.

This place is awesome, they're very helpful. You can get antibiotics for your animals, flea medicine that really works. And several more animal products. Prices are reasonable.You should check them out.They are my favorite place to go from now on.
