This is a great location. Ryan was beyond helpful and really took the time and care to explain the self wash station to me. He even offered some tips while I was in the process, which I really appreciated. They had everything you could need or think of to give an excellent bath to your pup. I really liked the vast selection of finishing sprays they had. I look forward to trying a new one on our return trip.

I've only had one interaction at Barkberry but it was a great start and I'm very impressed. My giant dog needed a nail trim BADLY and I called Barkberry asking about if I could get in immediately and didn't realize they were about to close. The manager was there and she said since I live really close, if I can just run down she would do it. What a wonderful woman!! Where do you think I'm gonna go next time I need a full service dog groom or supplies?? Thanks Barkberry!!!!

I love going to Barkberry in Fayetteville! I have confidence in their professionalism and knowledge surrounding dogs. Christina Bell does a fantastic job grooming both of my dogs. She pays attention to owner preference and builds a relationship with our dogs so they are at ease. Our dogs look and smell fantastic. The best part is, they are not stressed. They are both happy when we arrive and when we pick them up. ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️

My pup can be a bit dog reactive; the staff knows this and knows how to handle it very well.We always come here for her nail trims because she just won’t let us do it at home! I am so appreciative of the staff for being so happy to see/help us every time we come in.The people who work here are exactly that. Real people that have a special love for all animals.Wouldn’t take my doggo anywhere else.Thank you, Barkberry!

I’ve used the self wash system many times & even taken my golden retriever for a grooming and she was great. I just got a new Aussiedoodle pup & made appointment to get her a first cut. Now when I took my golden they told me the price goes on weight & she is 80 lbs. which I paid $87 + tip. So when I scheduled this appointment on the phone they said a puppy cut not explaining what that was & ask how much she weighed. I said 22 lbs and 4 mon old. When I arrived I started to show the grooming the cut I wanted & he said the don’t do a cut on the first visit. Just wash/dry trim nails cut the face hair & sanitary area. I was thrown off and did ask how much that was. He said he didn’t now but it wasn’t the price of a normal groom. When I picked her up 2 hours later the girl at register said it was $ 87 again. I immediately said that’s not right cause I paid the same for a dog twice her size & they actually cut her hair. So she changed the price to $65. They should have a posted chart on how price & what comes with it. If it’s by weight I find it crazy that there is only $20 difference. If by breed then say that. Don’t waste my time. At this point I would have said to just change the extra and actually cut her hair. My dog still looks crazy & by the time I find someone else to groom he I’ll be out for a few minutes,$150. Won’t be back to this place.

We enjoy taking our pups here but have recently noticed that our Australian shepherd’s grooms have become more and more inconsistent. Overall, they’re a good spot and the staff is always nice.

I’ve been bringing my PapasTzu Cooper here for quite some time to be fully groomed and I’m always super happy. So I started bringing my little Bochi Daisy in for nail trims and it has been the best thing ever! Way less stressful having the super friendly staff at Barkberry take care of my babies than me worrying if I’m caring for them properly. I love that baths come with the groom for Coop and I can walk in whenever it fits my schedule best for a quick and affordable nail trim or self dog bath. Also, I bought a cute yogurt covered doggie biscuit that the two of them devoured shortly after. Thank you guys for being so awesome!

Manager with a beard on more than one occasion has been an extreme jerk. I was there when they unlocked the front door and he already had the tubs full and said walk-ins aren't a priority. Made me not only angry but wondering why they advertise self serve when it is only an afterthought. I would have waited if he wasn't such a jerk! I won't be going back and will bad mouth that place at all of the dog shows I attend.

I recently moved from DC and was super hesitant on going to a new groomer because I wasn’t sure if I would find someone as good as my original groomer. These people went above and beyond. Highly recommend! Prices are reasonable and they’re all super nice. Definitely took care of my baby dog

I won't be taking any of my pups back to Bark 'n Paws. I took my older dog there yesterday to be groomed (hair cut and a bath) he has been there before and they did a good job. Not yesterday though! Once we got to the car we realized his hair was super choppy looking all over, we understood the hot spot areas. BUT, his legs are choppy, his head is super choppy and looks like they must have someone new cut his hair. Once I got home I called back up to the groomers and asked if they had a new groomer shave him, she said no. So, I explained how his hair cut was awful and super choppy, she first said I could bring him back up there and they would try to fix him. I said no, he had already been there for 4 hours and he is older and cannot handle standing for long periods of time. I then asked why his hair cut ended up the way it did, she put me on a brief hold and checked with the groomer-she got back on the phone and said because of the hot spots on him. I then told her I understood the hot spots, but his legs and his head and his feet all looked like this as well. I was then put on another hold, she got back on and said the groomer said his feet are that way because anytime she picked his feet up he fell over. Duh, he's an old dog!! I was getting frustrated because that still doesn't explain his legs or head! I then explained when the previous owners had the company and I brought in my older dog the groomer always came and updated me on how my dog did and any issues they may have had. Her response "yeah" and then silence, so I said maybe you could ask that for now on they go back to doing that- her response to that "I'm just a dog bather, the manager is on another phone call" and then silence. So, I told her bye. I waited, fully expecting someone to reach back out, but nothing. I spent alot of money trying to get my dog's hair cut, if they had issues getting it 1 length instead of the 20 they did they should've been upfront about it!! It shouldn't be my job after I get home to call and ask about it, to someone who has zero desire to help me figure out why! I will not be bringing any of my dogs back to this establishment ever again!

We have been taking our dogs to Bark n Paws, for grooming, since they opened the doors. We have purchased products, had 3 dogs groomed, nails cut and used their facilities to bath a dog. I can't say enough about how great this place and all their staff are. We have a dog with medical problems that requires special handling. Many places won't groom our dog, but Bark n Paws makes special arrangements for our dog that is very much appreciated. I recommend them to everyone. It takes a little bit to get an appointment for grooming, but it is well worth it. I love this place.

Barkberry is fantastic! Rachel gave my border collie her bath and full body haircut. She looks so beautiful! I tried out the self-serve dog wash for my short-haired pup, it was perfect, very convenient. Ryan dremeled her nails for me, a task that is usually somewhat difficult as my fur children are quite dramatic. He did all four of her feet in about 2-3 minutes and she's never looked better. Highly recommend.

We just moved here and found this place online from reviews. A full groom for our 10lb dog was about $45 where she got a hair cut, wash, nails dremmeled, etc. It took about 2.5 hours and we got an appointment the next day after I called. She came home smelling good and was happy, not skiddish in anyway. We will be back. I appreciate that when we got there, the groomer came out to meet our pup and go over exactly what we expected from the cut and we got what we asked for.

Bark berry is and has been my groomer of choice for three years now! Racheal grooms my 4lb dog who is very temperamental and she always does a great job! The entire staff is absolutely wonderful! Always helpful! Very friendly! Would suggest this salon for any four legged family member!

Have taken my golden retriever here twice. The first time they did such a great job with a standard breed cut! The groomer left all his long pretty hair intact, cut out a couple mats, and gave him a good trim in the longest spots that needed it. The majority of his hair was left alone and not cut, because it didn’t need to be. His paw pads and feet were also cleaned nicely.Picked my guy up yesterday after paying over $100 with a tip as prices had gone up. I unfortunately had paid BEFORE I saw him. When they brought him out to me I had to leave quickly so they wouldn’t see me cry.I have never seen someone butcher a golden retriever so completely. His belly has been shaved completely bare and there are small nicks from the razor. His long hair has been clearly shaved all over his body at one guard length, which I don’t understand why, he is a longer haired dog. He doesn’t need to be full body shaved. This is nowhere near a breed standard cut. He looks so choppy. Random sections are still long as if they were just forgotten. His long ears have been shorn and cut so short behind that he won’t stop itching them. I had to go in and trim and cut his paw pads on his feet myself. I could have done an equally bad job with a $20 pair of clippers and a pair of children’s scissors.I am only giving two stars instead of one because when I called to voice my complaints the manager was very apologetic and kind. I was told it was a new groomer and given half my money back. This person should clearly still be in training after what she did to my guy. I will unfortunately not be returning.I’ve seen this place do a good job, but you’re taking a gamble in taking your long haired animal here.

I brought my dog in to get her nails clipped, although she is still a puppy i thought it wouldn’t be too bad. She gets a little scared with clipping her nails and gets a little loud. It wasn’t Allen who took her back, it was the other man with a bun and a beard. He hooked her up in the tub and i could already tell he wasn’t in the best mood. He started trying to file her nails and she started getting scared and moving a lot. I could then notice he was getting irritated. Another coworker had asked him if he needed help right in front of me and he completely ignored her as she walked away awkwardly because he didn’t respond. He then tried to clip them instead of file them and he wasn’t being nice at all. It got to the point where he just gave up without trying all he could and she wasn’t even in the tub for 2 minutes. He doesn’t even look at me and tells me “I can’t do this right now, i can’t do the service.” and proceeded to put her leash back on and give her back and we just walked out. I’m so disappointed at how rude he was especially to his coworker who asked if he needed help. He didn’t even try and just gave up within 2 mins. VERY DISAPPOINTED.
