We were referred to Platinum by a neighbor who purchased a puppy from them. After doing a lot of research we decided to go with a mini bernedoodle. Mindy was amazing, she helped us through the process and was patient in answering our questions. She was very flexible with our schedule as we had to fly in from Texas during the week. She met me at the Little Rock airport terminal with puppy in hand. She is very well informed as she did not feed the puppy during the day so she would not get sick upon traveling. The flight back to Texas was very smooth and our puppy behaved so well. We are so happy to have found her online the puppy is so well mannered and in great health.

I got my Goldendoodle Stevie (previously Amy) from Platinum Goldendoodles about a week ago. I read the reviews and believed I was buying from a reputable breeder. I did see the reviews from previous buyers saying that breeder became unresponsive after the deposit was paid. I also had this experience. I asked multiple times over a week long period for an updated picture of Amy because she was a 4 month old puppy but the only picture was from when she was young. She always had an excuse for why she couldn’t send a picture (she was busy, it was delivery day, she had a doctors appointment, etc). I am very understanding of people being busy, but it was making me very nervous that she seemed so opposed to sending a picture. After telling her that I was becoming hesitant she was much more responsive. I was set to pickup Amy after I returned from my birthday trip. I confirmed with the breeder on Thursday prior to me leaving town the pickup date and time. When I returned on Monday night and contacted her, she said she had me as “tentative” even though we had confirmed the date and time days prior. We finally agreed on a pickup time (again). When I picked up Amy I was given a word document with dates of vaccines. There was no stickers or details of the shots given, it just said “5 way shot”. About 5 minutes after taking possession of Amy she got off the collar. I found out later that she had never been on a leash or collar before so she obviously panicked. I called the breeder immediately to ask her to come back to help me retrieve Amy as I knew she would not come to me since I was a stranger to her. The breeders response was that she was already 30 minutes away and that Amy likely wouldn’t come to her anyways. This is concerning to me because why would a puppy that you have had for 4 months not come to you? I ended up having to call animal control to help catch her. Amy was understandably nervous after this encounter. But after a few hours she began to warm up to me, and she quickly became very clingy to me. I was told that Amy was very calm but liked to play occasionally. Over the past week I have discovered that this was untrue. She was terrified of everything (doors, people, grass, leashes, cars, etc.). She is extremely anxious and has severe separation anxiety. I took her to the vet 3 days after getting her. They stated that they weren’t sure that she had received her vaccines as there was no proof or even details of what was given to her, and the dates listed on the word document could just be when you SHOULD give the puppy their vaccines. They also stated that she was more likely 6 months old instead of 4 months because her adult teeth were coming in. When discussing the issues that Amy was having the vet said that she believes it is highly likely that she came from an puppy mill. After doing some research around the indicators around dogs from puppy mills, this seems to be the case. The vet suggested that I would need to hire a professional trainer to help Amy as her issues were severe and would only get worse with time.I will never regret getting Stevie, but I would feel horrible if I did not share my experience and hopefully warn someone else from buying from Platinum goldendoodles in the future. The pictures attached are from the listing, the picture I was sent by the “breeder”, and a more current picture after she was bathed and brushed.

Just got my new puppy from platinum golden doodles. Mindy has been amazing throughout the process with all the information I wanted in a very timely manner. The puppy was shipped to me by a Mercedes van equipped just for transporting dogs. The puppy is so sweet & so far hasn’t had one accident in the house. His personality is amazing, cuddly & playful. I highly recommend platinum golden doodles for your next pet.

Platinum Goldendoodles is the place if you’re looking for a beautiful, unique breed, healthy, lovable and playful pet!Their website is very easy to navigate from finding the puppy you want, the purchase to delivery was excellent! When I placed a call, they answered all the questions I had. Super friendly and helpful with all the details! The delivery was a very smooth transition as well! Ruger Truman, a cockapoo, was bathed, had a cute little collar and leash ( yes, he was leash trained) and his 3 tone coat was super soft! Beautiful colors! This boy had been socialized and to me that’s a huge asset to get with any puppy! He had 6 other dogs in the car waiting to meet him and he was wagging his tail as he greeted them all! He has brought so much joy to our home, a great breed for being lovable and easy going! If you are looking for a premium breeder who knows what they are doing, who take wonderful care of pups in their care, I high recommend Platinum GoldenDoodles for all your puppy needs!Barbara FosterSalem, Arkansas

The girls at Platinum Goldendoodles are the best! We love our dog we got from them. She is happy, healthy, and a dream come true! I can see why they do not really want internet strangers at their home with the way the world is today! As well as the biohazard possibilities of bringing disease in! When we are ready for another puppy we will go straight back to Platinum!!!!

From a fellow breeder (bulldogs): We wanted a family pet and it was an absolutely amazing experience. Our puppy is such a sweetheart, beautiful, well taken care of, & potty training has been going so smooth. We live in Wisconsin and they made the pick up so easy from the first phone. They were so easy to get a hold of and I knew we could trust them. I’d recommend them to anyone and will absolutely do business with them again.

I felt it was extremely important for me to reply to the owners response to my original review (under Haileigh Thomas, screenshot attached) as it contained flat out lies, and I think it’s important to tell the truth to potential customers.First off, I asked if it was possible for PGD to hold Amy until I got back from vacation prior to submitting the deposit. If it was a problem, she could have very well told me, or charged me, but that was never brought up to me.Looking back on past reviews, the owner always states how “mom life gets busy” and she isn’t able to respond immediately, which I stated in my review that I completely understood. I first asked for updated pictures on Sunday, Feb 25th at 2:46pm. She responded on Monday, Feb 26th at 12:46pm, only after I sent a follow up text message, saying she was too busy. I didn’t get the updated picture until Thursday, Feb 29th at 3:40pm, and only after I had stated that it seemed sketchy that she was so unwilling to send pictures. It is concerning that she was not able to send a picture all week, as that indicated to me that she, or any of her possible workers, were never around Amy, since it would have taken less than a minute to take a picture and send it to me. Looking at past reviews will show you that this is a common pattern for PGD.The owner states that she tried to reschedule my pickup time because of a dr appt, which is true, but she did not communicate that to me at all, especially after we had already confirmed our pickup date/time/location on Thursday. I also told her that I could change my pickup date but that she would have to bring her to me, instead of me coming to her, as I could not take off of work the following days, but I was already off on Tuesday. She was unwilling to do that. The owner states that upon pickup she informed me not to let Amy out of the vehicle until I got home, which is a flat out lie. The only thing the owner said to me was that Amy puked in the car on the way. I had to ask if she had even eaten that day, which she stated she had not. I also never said that I was going to let her get out and walk around, as my plan was to head immediately home after pickup, but had she told me not to I would have absolutely heeded that warning, especially if I was informed that a 5 month old had never been on a collar. I called the owner to come back exactly 12 min after she left (I know this because I called my mom at 9:24 while the owner was still in the parking lot, and I called the owner at 9:36). I called her because I did not want to chase and scare Amy (and didn’t), and I figured she would be able to get Amy to come to her as she has had her since birth, but the owners response was “well she probably wouldn’t come to me anyways”. Which is also concerning because, she has had Amy since birth so surely Amy would recognize her. But I guess if you are operating a puppy mill, dogs probably wouldn’t recognize you.She states that she gave Amy a bath prior to pickup, which may be true, but Amy had obviously not been taken care of properly. She had feces caked into her fur. Also, doing even a little bit of research on a doodle breed will tell you that they need to be brushed regularly, Amy had not been brushed at all. The owner states that in my pictures above that Amy has obviously been professionally groomed, which is untrue, but she is scheduled to go to the groomer this Thursday, March 21st. She probably looks so good in my pictures because I washed and brushed her properly, unlike the owner.I am unsure how you would be able to tell how great a dog is doing from a picture, but to be clear, she has had some major issues as a result from her treatment with PGD. She is still terrified of everything, except other dogs, which makes since if she was locked in a cage with other dogs 24/7. She also has severe crate anxiety which would result from being locked in one all day every day since birth. She states that she has had no issues with shot records with other vets, but a quick look at past reviews will prove that to be untrue.

I searched high and low for, what I thought, was the perfect dog for our family. My son is 2 years old. Even though I wanted to rescue I didn’t feel like that was the safest option. I wanted low to no shedding. I chose the golden doodle breed but I wanted one that looked more like a retriever. I came across Platinum Goldendoodles and I was ecstatic to find a 75% retriever and 25% poodle breed! I know that the shedding is more likely this way but it was worth it for me to have a dog closer to the retriever breed. Luna, formerly Lydia, is truly the best dog we could have chosen. She was potty trained by dog door when we received her at 11 weeks old. And just a well behaved, smart, highly trainable puppy. Just a gorgeous dog! We love her so much!Platinum communicated with me as much as I needed before and after purchase. We were concerned because the next day she threw up about 7 times. We took her to the vet and after an anti nausea shot she was fine after that. May have been stress of transport and new surroundings. We are in Nevada so she traveled far. I was concerned about ground transport but the company was really great with communication. When we received her she appeared clean and happy. The drivers were very nice & let us look in the Mercedes’ sprinter van to see the set up for the dogs.I would have wished for breed paperwork on the parents proving her breed. But we love her just the same obviously. I would highly recommend using Platinum.

🚩🚩🚩🚩🚩Original review posted 12/23Reading all the reviews was very informative and reassuring that my gut feeling was correct! Pictures are pretty, and it’s easy to get caught up in the excitement of getting a puppy, but if a breeder demands that you just trust them 100% and you only get to see the puppy on your pick up day after paying, then ask lots of additional questions! Why aren’t there photos of their facilities on their website? Why isn’t information on the parents readily available? Why are the puppies birthdates not listed? If visits are not allowed because they are concerned with their own safety or the health of their unvaccinated puppies, why are alternatives not offered? Live video chats, updated photos??? We recently lost our 12 year old goldendoodle to cancer and know exactly what we’re looking for in our next fur baby. They can vary greatly and a photo alone can not tell you if a puppy is going to be a good fit for your family. In my personal opinion and through my brief messaging on Facebook, this particular breeder is strictly about business and lives on the ability to ship puppies to buyers that aren’t able to physically visit and that don’t ask the additional questions. If you’re OK with not truly knowing if what is presented to to you is actually accurate, then I’m sure you’ll be fine.**Response from the owner 3 days ago (3/18/24)First of all, I’ve never even sold a dog to the person that made this comment and second of all as a mom my family comes first as I hope it does for everyone on the Internet, so therefore, we do not let complete strangers come to our house continually to visit our puppies, not to mention disease control on puppies that are too young for vaccines**3/21/24 Additional note...from my initial review it would seem obvious to most that I did NOT buy a puppy from this breeder. Nor would I ever. The minimal response from this business once again proves that they do not provide answers to additional questions. There are lots of other GREAT breeders in Arkansas that will go the extra mile and answer those questions. Safety for their puppies was also a concern, so the fact that they would immediately offer to video chat to let you see the puppies interact together, answer your questions and provide all of the details of questions as often as you needed made me feel so much better about our purchase and addition of a new fur baby family member. It's very simple...read the reviews and trust your instincts. Mine is not the only negative review.

We recently adopted Benji aka Brodie and we couldn’t be happier with our whole experience. We are so in love with our little guy, and the whole process of adopting him was so easy. Platinum Goldendoodles communicated so well with us and went out of their way to deliver Brodie to us. We would highly recommend them!

Here is how our experience with Platinum Golden doodles just for potential buyers to be aware of- Arkansas based but almost 1.8x pricier than other breeders in the area.- You do not get AKC certified puppies for the boosted price- Request to see the breeding facility was turned down- Request to meet the puppies in person or virtually through video (due to covid) and pick one was turned down- Request to see the puppy's parents was turned down- Requested to see at least photographs of puppy's parent - Never got one- Requested for couple more photos of puppies, or a virtual meet (through video call) before selecting one was turned down- Had to pick our puppy from a single photograph. Not much helpful in correctly judging looks, seeing coat color, coat type or behavior of a puppy who will be with us for about 15 years-Puppy was delivered at a business parking lot (car exchange)- Unfortunately the puppy we picked from the photo did not and doesn't look like a golden doodle at all. No fur, no facial furnishings, nor hair curls, looks more like a golden retriever with super short hair. Vet agreed as well and said it has more of retriever features based on coat, looks, as well as pigmentation in tongue and jaws. did not expect that from an F1B (medium)- We requested for a swap within 2 weeks - Turned down- Breeders "promise" that it is a golden doodle and we just had to believe them as it wasn't worth spending more on a DNA test- Researched and found that it can happen rarely and those are called "straight coat golden doodles". That's consoling- Anyways totally did not meet our expectation of a golden doodle. But we still love the puppy as she is so lovable like any dog and becoming part of our familyI've got nothing against the breeders and totally understand their stance. I see they had sweet dogs that have the "doodle look" in their FB page and happy clients. It's just a situation that we ran into. If you are ok with just going by pure trust with all the potential situations/restrictions you may run into, try your luck here. Based on our experience which wasn't great, we wouldn't refer anyone here

We love Platinum Goldendoodles! We got our sweet mini golden doodle from them about a month ago. He’s absolutely wonderful. Platinum Goldendoodles sent him to us quickly and safely across the country. We definitely recommend them. I was most impressed that our puppy had been taught not to bite and was easily adjusted to his crate. It is obvious that he was well cared for and that made his adjustment to our family even easier.

My family decided to look for a new puppy to replace our beloved dog that went to the Rainbow bridge in September. We researched for different breeders of Goldendoodle puppies and Platinum Goldendoodles was rated one of the best so we decided to go with them. We went to their website and picked the puppy we liked the best and left a deposit for that puppy, after I spoke with Mindy Wallace. After we left the deposit Mindy basically ghosted us, and I felt like we may have been scammed after hearing about puppy scams talking to my friends and on the news, and she wouldn’t return my texts or repeated phone calls. Only after I messaged her telling her we were going to dispute the deposit and go with a different breeder (who answered every question I had immediately unlike this one) did I get a response telling me she was sorry that she was preoccupied with her son who did rodeo (it is understandable that children activities are important) but I don’t feel that should have prevented her from a simple text to let us know. I had to repeatedly ask for a updated picture of the puppy I chose, and when the puppy would be shipped since part of their rule is the puppy has to be seen by our own Vet within 3 days of receiving the puppy. She finally did respond and send a picture and updated shipping date. She also told us that we would at least get the information about the mother and father and which breed each was, I have had my puppy for a month now and am still waiting for that information after repeatedly texting her with no response once again. We are very happy with our puppy and he is adorable and healthy, but we don’t feel like we got the customer service we should have in the buying process.

We went back and forth on whether or not to post this, but decided it wasn’t fair to other people looking to get a puppy not to share our experience. We love our girl- she is the sweetest, happiest pup, is best friends with our other dog, and fits perfectly into our family. We wanted to believe that Platinum was the breeder we hoped it would be, and were so grateful that Mindy drove to meet us at a convenient location closer to our home. The information we received about our puppy ahead of time was not accurate. We were told at first inquiry she was 11 weeks old, and again told 11 weeks (nine days later) when we picked her up, but decided not to think too much of it. After asking a few more times over the next week, since it was needed for the vet and pet insurance, we finally got her birthdate as “3/6” which put her at 17/18 weeks. We had no issue with adopting an older puppy, in truth it was what we were looking for, but felt that we were deliberately misled to get her sold. She already had lost a few teeth and had adult ones popping through. We brought her home and as she was going potty noticed a live, swollen tick right on the edge of her bum. She also had a very visible stye on her eye. We brought her to the vet when they opened after the holiday, and he was shocked when I handed over her records which only consisted of 3 shots - 2 on 4/4 and 1 on 4/19. By 17 weeks she should have been finished with all her puppy shots and her rabies vaccine. We were told in our initial email exchange on 6/23 that “She will come up to date with all shots, a shot record and health guarantee.” Our vet said that he was quite frankly shocked she didn’t have any parasites or worms given the tick, stye, and neglected shot records. He also noted that her tail was kinked right in the middle, and looked like it had been broken at one point and healed offset. It doesn’t hurt her now, so it must’ve happened weeks ago.Again, we love our girl. We couldn’t imagine not having her and would never give her up. Do your research and make sure that you find the breeder that is right for you and aligns with what you value and expect out of them when considering the health of your new family member.

We brought our sweet Madeleine (Maddie) home on Saturday and she has been wonderful!!! She already fits our family so well. She absolutely loves the kids, and her favorite thing to do is chase them around. We can tell that she was treated with so much love by the Platinum Goldendoodles team/family. Thanks to Platinum for allowing us to make her a part of our family!!! She has already learned how to use the dog door and did surprisingly well on a leash today. We are convinced she’s a genius. 💗

We loved our experience with Platinum Doodles. Obviously living in another state and shopping for a dog during Covid wasn’t easy but they communicated great with us. We received pictures of Molly’s parents and the rest of her siblings. We spoke on the phone several times and they answered all of our questions. Molly is a wonderful puppy and has the best temperament. We have an older doodle from a different breeder and Molly by far has the best temperament. She is super smart and has completed our family!!

Do NOT purchase from this woman. I called Mindy Wallace as I was looking for a goldendoodle. I called her and explained that we just lost our dog not that long ago. I explained we wanted a dog that was already potty trained. She said she had a 5 month old. She said he was house trained but had previous surgery on his eyes due to lashes growing inward, but he was fine now. I asked for a photo and she sent it. He was beautiful so I said I’d take him. I asked when he could be shipped and she said it was out of her hands and I’d have to wait for the shipping company. I sent her the money for the dog and money for the shipment company. That’s when she STOPS answering questions! I Wanted the dogs medical records, she wanted to know why I needed them. Why wouldn’t I need them!!! Other questions I text her, went unanswered. She finally texts me that she’s a single mom and is very busy. A simple response to questions about your new pet, shouldn’t go unanswered when you’re running a reputable company. The dog arrived and has issues. My vet said he is much older than she’s letting on. It’s very disappointing and frustrating. Wouldn’t provide anything on the dogs mom or dad. The entire process was stressful, unprofessional, irresponsible and overall extremely difficult. I should have stuck with a different breeder who was more than happy to answer my questions. SAVE YOURSELF THE MONEY AND THE STRESS. This is a very shady person who does not have her animals best interest.HORRIBLE EXPERIENCE!!!!!!!!!!!!

I realize I will be the first bad review of Platinum Goldendoodles (at least on Google, there are other bad reviews out there), but I feel that we have to share our experience, even if we've just gotten a "lemon" of a puppy. Long story short - please don't buy from this breeder! It's not worth the risk. We bought our F1b Goldendoodle puppy from Mindy 5 months ago, and quickly realized that we had an aggressive puppy on our hands. We have young children, and so began working with a trainer that specializes in behavior modification right away. Our trainer was VERY concerned about this puppy's aggressiveness, which he thought was very abnormal for a Goldendoodle, and most likely the result of poor breeding. We contacted Mindy through email, mostly to let her know of the problem and get any advice she might have. She did not respond to email, but my husband was able to catch her on the phone, and the first words out of her mouth were, "I don't give refunds for puppies." We completely understood that when we bought our puppy, but thought she should know of this aggressive little one in case she wasn't aware that these traits are in her breeding line. Her response clearly told us that she wasn't interested in the health of her dogs, or the satisfaction of customers. This has been a huge financial investment for us, both with the initial cost of the dog and with the training we are doing, and we are still experiencing problems with this pup and are not sure what we will end up doing. We also have a five year old Goldendoodle (from a different breeder in Colorado) who has never displayed any of these characteristics. Mindy made it seem like it was our fault for allowing this behavior, but I'd have to disagree, especially with what our trainer has said. I would urge anyone to skip over this breeder and find a different one - someone that preferably would allow you to visit the facility to at least meet the parent dogs, even if you can't see the puppies. We would NOT recommend Platinum Goldendoodles to our friends or family and deeply regret getting our puppy from her.

Platinum Goldies has the most amazing puppies EvEr. We got our Jazzy Mae from Mindy in January of 2014. Jazzy is the smartest dog I have ever had. I have had lots of puppies in my lifetime, but I truly feel my goldendoodle we bought from Mindy is the smartest and easiest puppy to train that I have ever owned. If you are wanting a sweet and well raised smart puppy you need to get in touch with Mindy @ Platinum Goldies, they are THE BEST .

I have pondered on writing this review or not. I purchased an F1 Goldendoodle from here. Early on we saw signs of aggression and started early to work with him on it. My Goldendoodle goes to work with me and is at my side 24/7. I alerted my vet to it and didn’t take her long to see because she also was bitten by him. Well after endless training and working with him for the past two years he finally bit a kid. My kid who is 4 and needless to say at 65 lbs he was able to take his whole head into his bite. I was right there so was able to stop it quickly. I emailed Mindy inquiring about the other pups from the litter to see if it is a trait from the parents. She got back in contact with me the next day and answered all my questions about the litter..... which all the others are non aggressive. So it looks as this is an isolated incident and mine has more poodle than golden. So just be aware before buying this breed, They are all cute as puppies but are you also willing to spend the time/money/training it takes to keep the ones who aren’t so friendly? Oh and did I mention mine also has food allergies!? Yep that’s right, my hypo allergenic dog has allergies 😂 But I can not put this on Mindy or the breed and she has been great in every way.

Platinum Goldie’s have changed my life ! Having hank for a year now is the best thing ever. I have never owned a dog in my life and this has been the best experience! The communication with the breeder has been outstanding before we officially bought hank! I highly recommend Platinum Goldendoodles!
