We visited during a trip in summer 2023. It was such a sweet staff and a fun collection of items and gifts. We purchased a beautiful ornament for our tradition of getting a Christmas ornament on every vacation we go as a family. Unfortunately, my son broke it as soon as we got home. We were bummed. I contacted the store to see if they could ship one to me- and despite this not being apart of their normal service… they didn’t even hesitate to help me pick out a different ornament, and get one shipped to us. They were incredibly accommodating and helpful, on top of a cute store with an eclectic selection of gifts. You must stop by when visiting Eureka Springs!

My daughter and I had the best time looking around the store and visiting with the owner. She was able to answer several questions that we had and offered even more helpful information for our weekend. The store has treasures in all sizes for all price points. We were able to get a few fun items to stuff stockings with this Christmas!

Wonderful Experience!!!!While visiting Eureka Springs, AR, we stopped into Packrat’s Paradise to browse and see what they had inside. It was a cool store, with a lot of different items for locals and visitors alike.While my wife was browsing… and I was fulfilling my part as the “mobile shopping cart”, I noticed a statue of a black bear. As I looked at the bear, its size and weight, and the price… I immediately thought that it would be a great heirloom for my new grandson. His baby room is in a forest theme, so a statue of a handmade black bear would be something that he could hold on to for years to come.Well in true “shopping cart” fashion, I weighed out what the the rest of the day would be like with me toting this bear all over town. So, I put the idea in my head for a quick trip back to the store in our car instead of the hotel shuttle.Now is where things get worse… then unbelievably better….I forgot the bear!!! And… I was almost back to Texas before I remembered. So now I’m mad at myself for the entire drive home.Now the better part…Once I arrived home, I got on the internet, found the contact info for the store, and called to inquire about the bear. After I left a message with the employee answering the phone, I was contacted the next morning by the owner. She was super sweet and extremely helpful. And…. Long story short… I now own that bear! Now Im happy again, and can give it to my grandson at Christmas.The owner was unbelievably helpful, and went way above and beyond to get that bear to me. From finding the most cost effective shipping, to packaging to prevent damage, to keeping me constantly updated on what was going on… my experience was simply top notch service! I am extremely grateful to still find outstanding folks that value such high quality customer service like they do at Packrat’s Paradise.If you find yourself in Eureka Springs, I highly recommend you stop in and see for yourself. I’m sure you will experience the same friendly customer service from the owner and her employees.

They have quite a bit of novelty things to choose from, ranging from coca-cola memorabilia, to nerdy mugs, to a very big selection of fridge magnets. They sell posters, toys for kids, golf balls, harmonicas, cobb pipes, slide whistles, puzzles, metal posters, almost too may novelty items to name, its a good place for nostalgia of the old days and for new ones as well. Everything is reasonably priced.I bought mini dominos, which are wooden, and a golf ball that says Eureka Springs, Arkansas.

I was here a few months ago with my husband. I bought a birdhouse for $20. A week later I found that same exact birdhouse at Dollar General for $4. I want my $20 back. What a scam.

We loved the eclectic selection of souvenirs and goodies. We received a very friendly welcome from the store owner and bought some awesome locally crafted wooden ornaments and magnets. There are also a lot of vintage finds and things for first responders. Shop local!!!

USED to like shopping here. Changed pet policy to only if you can pick them up! Really? In the most pet friendly town in the US. That’s why we come down here because this town is pet friendly, there are water bowls in front of every store. And our two dogs are noon in most stores.Shame on packrats 😒😒😒
