We have always had good food and good service. They smoked our ham for us for Thanksgiving and it was awesome. We love their burgers and fish but have not had a bad dish.

Waitress who was also the owner was rude and racist. After waiting an hour I was served a cold burger. When I asked if the burger could be warmed up enough to melt the cheese on it which was able to be removed by the slice she told me I could just leave and refuse to warm it up. She then aggressively approached another table who were in the party with me and asked them if they wanted to leave too, when they had also been waiting over an hour and not received their food. I'll let you guess what race ethnic group they were.

I ordered the burger and so did my dad, and we absolutely looooved how much food was served!!! The Onion Rings and fries were delicious, though know it is extra to order the onion rings. I ordered a sweet tea and had about 3 refills plus was given a to-go cup home along with containers for our leftovers. The fried pickles were absolutely delicious, too 😋🤤😋!!! I'd definitely recommend this place!!!!Parking: The parking is very tight, limited, and not enough space in the place during lunch rush to get out when the line for ordering and those waiting for their order crowd around... everyone is polite and patient during those rushes because the food is worth it, but the shack should definitely be bigger for the price of paying....

First time I've ever been here. I had the brisket sandwich which was quite possibly the best sandwich I've ever eaten. Service was very fast, friendly and helpful. The food was even better. I will definitely be back

Gator, fish, oysters, shrimp, Gumbo, potato salad, onion rings...I can't pick a favorite 😋.Down right delicious!Stop by, nice dine-in spotBut small dining room.I tried the double cheeseburger. Huge. I took one patty off and had a second burger for dinner. Best Angus burger ever.

Eggs cooked perfectly, super thin, tasty bacon, and thick slices of toast—but the prices were rung up significantly higher, even after accounting for the recession prices written on the menus. Two plates, two coffees, and one hash browns, with tip, was just over $40.There weren’t any other customers there, but maybe today was an off day. The young lady at the register was definitely grumpy, a stark comparison to the friendlier waitress.We truly wanted to like this place, but it wasn’t a $40 breakfast.

Great FOOD and Great people the GUMBO is fantastic! I saw a post on here that they didn't serve people of color and that is a LIE there were three tables with minorities when I was there!!! I detest a LIAR , who just tries to stir up trouble!!! They serve AMERICANS THERE!!! ALL AMERICANS! ANd that's the way it ought to be!!!!! The prices are great too!!!!

Went there today after doing some traveling around in the area and I had the Alligator which was fine but a little bland for my taste. The rest of the food was great. Fries seasoned perfectly and cooked perfectly. The waitresses were timely, kind, and attentive. But I will say the Ribeye at this place I had today was superb. Cooked at rare it was perfectly colored and the outside was just perfectly seared. Best steak I have ever had and the seasoning. Yummy.

Best food I have ever had in my life. I literally eat at this establishment everyday. I have not had any bad service or food from here, it has all been exceptional. Brian and Tina are amazing and their food and service are through the roof. I highly recommend stopping by, and experience what I experience every time.

Very good. Sat near some old friends, was able to talk with them because tables were close enough. We had the alligator plate, and added okra, very good, plus unusual table fare. Great experience. It had been awhile since we were in.

I had the pork plate with the twice baked potato salad. The hubs had the hamburger steak. The food and service were good. Our server was friendly and attentive. One thing for sure is it was well lit inside, but a little chilly. We'll be back.

While on vacation we actually came across this little gem. My wife had fried catfish and onion rings. I had a smoked bologna sandwich with fried okra. Great portions and delicious. The place was very clean and the owners were very friendly! Highly recommend!😎

To all truckers passing by England , AK . You must find parking immediately and try this place out . Stopped by today with the family to eat and it’s some of the best Brisket , fish , fried pickles , hamburger steak I’ve ever had ! The lady was so nice too ! I didn’t notice I had lost my card and asked if they accepted Apple Pay , they weren’t sure but they even called to ask if they could and luckily they did ! I hope I stay on this route to pick my load up . It’s my oficial stop now for sure ! 👌🤩

I was looking forward to eating here. I was in the area and it is a catchy enough place as far as the restaurant itself looks and its name is catchy too.I ordered the half rack of ribs and to be absolutely honest they were the absolute worst ribs I have ever been presented with at a BBQ restaurant. I suspect the owner/chef tried to get rid of some old ribs he had hanging around and I looked like just the sap to pawn them off on. They were cold and they were flavorless, neither wet nor dry but cold and greasy like left over bacon grease.They may have won the battle by making me pay them a decent amount of money for a more or less gross meal but hopefully I won the war with this bad review.
