Just so you guys know Wal-Mart employees at the doors (generally the “door greeters” who are really only there for loss prevention) are completely allowed to ask me for my receipt. But you should also know legally and i am also well within my rights to refuse to show it to them.Next time it up to you if you want to call the authorities, and that there is your choice, and it’s very likely Wal-Mart will face the consequences because that is akin to filing a false police report if staff does not have proof or probable cause to believe i stole something.Now my important point is this: even though your staff may call the police without probable cause, your staff at this location (or just about any Walmart in the US for that matter) cannot legally detain anyone especially me until a police officer arrives which should have been called long before i was exiting the store when they got probable cause and thought i was stealing. Federal and State laws say your staff must allow me to just walk in and leave as i please unless they have hard proof of a theft. And even then If Any investigation was to follow it would then be done by law enforcement not a store employee after the fact based upon things like the stores video security footage. But of course, if i didn't steal anything your staff will have nothing to hold against me.Legally speaking, by simply refusing to show my receipt to any Walmart employee in any store anywhere in the state of Arkansas (much less in the city of El Dorado) is not legal grounds to establish this probable cause.Last time i checked all Wal-Marts around the world have cameras, they all also have cameras above the registers that record all transactions. That's all the proof you will ever need, not a receipt (that can easily be faked by the way), that has a record that i purchased all of the items in my possession and as such as i leave legally with that property, once purchased, is now my property and not Wal-Mart’s. In other words, next time if one of your employees believe i stole something then your staff needs to prove it at the check out or immediately as i depart, as it has been for as long as i can remember, not via a universal door receipt check policy for all customers.In the state of Arkansas, next time Wal-Mart Incorporated and all the staff that makes me mistake of getting involved will be held accountable in a federal criminal court, for detaining me against my will without probable cause simply for refusing to show my receipt. Which btw i have learned from my lawyer that if i so choose to pursue charges it will be felony detainment and felony kidnapping charges for all those involvedAlso, keep in mind, they’re preventing me from leaving with my property. So if your staff tries to seize my property and hold me against my will again without cause that is theft or attempted theft and physical assult on their part. And they will be held accountable.I mention this though because the Wal-Mart employee at the door attempted to stop not just me from leaving, but me leaving with my property, including grabbing and holding my cart containing my purchased goods and actually tried literally removing items from my cart. You should know this is theft. At the point of purchase the transaction is complete and ownership of the goods changes hands to me the customer and At that point me the customer is under no obligation to prove my property belongs to me on my way out.I’ve seen people argue that because it’s “private property” Wal-Mart has the legal ability to do this, but legally speaking, this is not the case. Most notably because im not trying to enter Wal-Mart, im trying to leave. It would be one thing if i wanted to come in and staff wanted to keep me out. They absolutely have that right. But to prevent me from leaving is felony detainment and kidnapping, plain and simple.It’s also worth noting that after checking property records of this location Wal-Mart does not own the building, they only lease it. So It’s not their actual property, they are only the tenant.

What can I say. Wal Mart has everything you need to survive. I really love the order online and pick up for groceries. I pick up every week. The employees who load my groceries always seem so nice and helpful. Thank You

The El Dorado store is gorgeous! This was the first time I've shopped here since it was apparently renovated, because I was so surprised how NICE it looked! The lighting is so much better, there's a lot of room between displays and it was so clean! I hope the Camden store gets an update!

Just bought a pair of size 13 mens Chapps tennis shoes and when I got home they were BOTH left shoes. They were bungie tied together and packaged that way. Definitely disappointed.

Weird Walmart. We travel in our RV full time. Thank you Walmart for allowing us to sleep in your parking lots! Ok, the weird:No clearance racks! Nothing!I wanted to try on pants, but the four employees I asked nobody had a key.Many workers stocking at 9am.12:30am parking lot was alive with workmen, cars coming n going...2am all lights in parking lot went out?! They never came back on even when the 6am crew was flowing in!So, a nice clean, new, big Walmart, but many odd things going on.

At this particular Walmart, I was on the phone to contact the auto center and they never answered the phone. Terrible service, if you want to ask a question you have to go to the store because they never answer the phone.

Remodeling no registers open except self checkout.. not everyone enjoys self check out. Remodeling store great!! Store closes at 11:00pm blocking off exits taping off the store is a major safety Hazard while the store is open

The El Dorado, AR location isn't a very helpful store, it either "not my department" or "I'm new" excuses all the time. Employees stand around visiting & on their phones, cussing like crazy.The most helpful person I've had in a while that actually took the time to look something up said she was with the home office, she was there helping set up the store due to renovation/revamping.

Some Wal-Mart locations are organized and neat but not the one in Eldorado, AR. Many things are in the wrong spot with a price under it that does not go with it and the employees are not good to help. I saw a male employee screaming at a shopper a little while ago when I was leaving. Maybe it is everywhere and just part of our culture today. I only go there when I cannot find what I need somewhere else. Many times I order online from somewhere else and wait instead of shopping in person.

I used the wm app to place an order. I was alerted my order was ready.During my hour and 30 minute wait in the parking lot, I checked in 3 times on the app, called the number on the sign (no answer but a full voice mail box), and no answer at the main number (but said full vm box), I finally managed to get the attention of an amployee who said "I'll look into it."Thirty minutes later I had an employee bringing it out.I wouldn't be so harsh in my ratings, but I'm physically unable to go in, as I need a wheelchair and didn't have one readily available. The whole reason I took a chance on the curbside pickup.Not again, thank you.

The last few times I have been in there . There has been this tall large build black women that treats every white person at self check out like a thief and will make smart ellic comments over your shoulder and tell you you are doing things wrong when you are not . I have taken my receipt time and time again and time again and took that survey and no one ever get back with me.

The customer service and the condition of this store reminds me of an old KMART store. Unpacked inventory sitting in the aisles in the middle of the day, shelf prices that don't match register prices and many employees that can't or won't do their jobs. I shop Walmart stores in other towns that are in excellent condition and provide great customer service. This store needs a surprise visit from the corporate office for a thorough evaluation.

I hate this store, I only come here when I can't find what I need anywhere else. I may visit this store 2 times a year but it makes me mad as you know what when they ask me to see my receipt. The guy asked me to see my receipt and I ask him "are you accusing me of stealing?', he said no I just want to make sure what you have is on your ticket. Lol. Sooo you are accusing me of stealing. Nope I'll do without.
