I found a stray cat that was unbelievably sweet. I was unable to keep him due to my allergies and, it turned out, he needed surgery. I called UCAPS and they took this cat, gave him much needed medical care, and doted on him in the process. I am so grateful UCAPS is available to help any animal that is in need! Thank you to everyone at UCAPS.

I have mixed feelings about this place. I've had okay experiences with donating thing, adopting, and leaving a stray but I've heard from others who have had interactions with them say they didn't like what they went through, or they had trouble with them. This review could be titled, "You might have an okay experience or one that leaves a bad taste in your mouth". I wouldn't interact with them too much if you can manage it because you're about as likely to have an okay experience as you are a crummy one... I'm glad they are here but I would be wary.

They do so much to help save animals...We got 2 wonderful puppies that I know are healthy and happy. The work they do is an absolute blessing for the animals and the people who get their pets there. Love them all!!!

Great people. They have so much going on taking care of all of the animals and conducting rescue missions for creatures in the area that their customer service can sometimes fall flat. They need more funding and voluteers so they can spread out their heavy work load and better cater to people wanting to adopt and foster.

Love UCAPS. They can be hard to get in touch with but they have saved hundreds of animals. I was told they currently have over 200 dogs waiting to be adopted. We were able to find a new addition to our family.

They do not call back letting you know when an animal you picked out is ready. Been over half a year and I never heard from them.

The people at UCAPS do not seem to have much love for all of the animals. It is hard to adopt from there, and it is also hard to drop off strays there. Where are people supposed to bring the unloved/unwanted animals? We just want to give them a better, safer life.

These people do not get back to you. They run this place like they don’t care if animals find homes. The woman in charge does not respond to you and when you do talk to her she is very rude. Tonja is her name. She needs a lesson in how to talk to people.

Very nice people that work there. If you need a animal and are in the El Dorado area, I do suggest looking at animals at the local Petsense first.
