Has mostly what usually get @ DG some products higher and less quantity. Third trip is not a winner. Had to wait 15 minutes to check out. One checker while others talked on cell phones. Getting better with Linda at the checkout, always a pleasure to visit the store. Nice personal staff. 😷👍 Very much so changed, very excellent help at the register. Always will return. 👍👍 Yes it's a great experience to shop here. Good help. Two thumbs up Linda. 👍👍 Yes it's lots better here, no wait and mostly what I'm looking for. 👍👍

The store is clean, well organized, and the staff is friendly. The shelves are usually well-stocked, with a few exceptions. One improvement I could suggest, is that they have multiple cashiers working. It's really frustrating having to wait on someone with 50+ items when I've only got 2. There are 3 registers, but only one is being used. The staff is courteous, but they can only do so much if the store isn't staffed properly. Please consider having an additional cashier available for rush times. And please make sure to order an ample amount of Strawberry Lemonade Powerade, my husband and I live in Des Arc and we buy A LOT!I'm standing here checking out as I write this review, and I'm pretty annoyed at the moment. When I came to the registers to check out, the cashier was already ringing up a lady with a completely full buggy. I had a basket with less than 10 items. The lady was also doing separate transactions. I stood and waited absolutely FOREVER. There was just the one cashier working. So I continued waiting until the lady in front of me was finished paying and headed towards the door, another customer had gotten in line behind me.I stepped up to the register to begin my transaction, when the cashier finally calls for help over the intercom. I couldn't believe that I had to wait so long for her to finish the 100+ item transaction, yet no one calls for assistance! They only called for another cashier after it was already my turn. I felt that this was a little rude and not the proper way to handle this situation. The moral of the story here is, Family Dollar needs to ensure that there are an adequate amount of cashiers proportionate to the level of business! And if a customer is waiting in line on a large transaction to be complete, call for help promptly rather than making them wait for the entire time. I hate to sound like a total Karen here, but we need our local convenience stores to be more convenient!Update: just a tip, don't put a $7 item in a bin that says $3!! The sign says "Everyday low prices $3" not $5, not $7. If this happens occasionally, then no big deal, but definitely don't get a little attitude when a customer points out that they thought the item was on sale...because that's what the sign says! The cashier was kind enough to double check for us, but the employee who was stocking wasn't very polite when explaining that the sign means, "prices AS LOW AS $3"... well if that's what the sign means, then that's what the sign should say, otherwise don't put the $7 item in that bin. It's not the end of the world, but could've been nicer about it.

clean and easy to find what you're looking for. Prices are reasonable. Most of the staff are very friendly- they have one woman in management that could use some customer service training, she's rude. Otherwise a great addition to our little community.
