Basically a mom & pop store kind of like a "Family Dollar" yet not so inventoried and higher priced. We use the in a pinch.

The produce will have flies blowing and lighten on it, I have seen rotten produce, prices not marked correctly, on that does have pricing, freezer food is usually iced over, the shelves need cleaning, and if you catch the write person in the store working the register, they will stare at you and not speak when it's their job to speak, not friendly at all...
