We had some blonde woman following us around the whole time acting like we were stealing. Me and my boyfriend were checking out and she was watching us the whole time with a very nasty and annoyed look on her face. On our way out she turned around and started walking away. We saw a Reeses cup with caramel and made a comment about it and we looked up and she had turned back around after she had walked away, just to watch us leave the store with the same rude look. I am a healthcare worker. I literally have my bachelors degree!!!! I can afford $12 THANK YOU. Very disappointed in the way they treated us. Never in my life have I been treated like a thief. & we come to this store very often and I’ve never seen this woman before. Not sure if she was a new hire or what but this is ridiculous.

I love coming here, almost always has what I need, very clean and organized and customer service is always good, if you're new here, it's actually the best dollar general in the whole area, I've never been in a better one and I've lived here for 18 years. Very good selection and fairly good prices, even has a gas station and a good one at that. For a dollar general, 10/10 would definitely recommend, and actually have before 😉

I think the reason stores that lock their restrooms always have dirty restrooms is that by the time people finally get the key they feel like trashing the place

The staff is like family, most are local and grew up in the area friendly, caring always there when you need something clean facility. They lost a big member of the community recently still a great place won't be the same without him. He was a very beloved cashier. Great place for all your household needs and good gas prices. Save 6¢ to the gallon on Sundays. I shop there regularly. Best place in a tiny town. Check out Decatur's DG

Changing from 5 star 10/10/21 10pmThis night shift team literally gave us a count down from the time we walked in to the time they closed and again while at the register with the couple items we grabbed, two ladies were just rude! Sam situation as below that got them a five star with 2 different employees.Great people friendly service. Went above and beyond expectations for me tonight and I am truly grateful. A very nice big store has a little bit of everything you can get your groceries there pet supplies home decor and etc. They even have their own gas station attached and it's very nice and spread out even the parking in the front. Things change and from what I've seen this is been a good one they currently have excellent management very nice employees.

Store does a pretty good job at keeping clean and organized. Better then other DG locations around. Still needs more selection and better produce if they want to compete. Gas prices are pretty good and competitive

Some of the staff try extremely hard to be helpful and professional. They’ll go out of their way to help you. Other staff, including a female manager, are outright rude and uninviting. There are times I’m frustrated by that behavior. The selection isn’t always the greatest but the convenience of having a store in a small town to grab things outweighs that sometimes. It does include gas pumps, and that’s awesome!! There’s a redbox, but sometimes the selection is limited.

So thankful to have this great Dollar General so close to where I live. Their employees are very helpful and courteous. The selection of fresh produce is unmatched in Decatur. Their prices are very reasonable and they usually have some kind of specials to give you even lower prices. Highly recommend if you’re in the Decatur area to stop in and give them a try.

Zero stars!!! Rude cashier makes customer wait 15 min. in line while she's over giggling with a vendor and tells me there's a self check out!! Tells me I'm rude... I'll be contacting the manager!

4. Nicest $G store around. Great selection on a lot of things you'd expect from a Dollar General. Then its packed w/ stuff you wouldn't expect. It has fuel pumps too! Always easy to get it and out, easy to find too. It's worth the drive to Decatur if you're looking for the best $G in the area.

I love this Dollar store. Its nice and big and has a full market. Really helpful when you don't feel like driving far to get groceries and need stuff for dinner. The staff is friendly for the most part too.

This has to be my favorite Dollar General I've ever been in...they have so many choices that other Dollar Generals have...They always have so many options of fresh fruit and vegetables..the fruits and veggies are always fresh and delicious and there's so many things to pick from..the prices are way cheaper than the nearby grocery stores..They also have a large meat section and it all is so fresh and cheap...This store is always clean and tidy when I go in and the employees are always friendly and get you out the door very quickly...I have a Dollar General close to my house but I frequent this location because of the cleanliness and fresh Fruit and veggies! Well worth an extra 30 minute drive!

There will be a sale on a certain soda. I thought the point of these sales was to entice shoppers into spending their money at their store.... There is no drive to shop there when; on a regular basis the stock of the sale item is out the majority of the time of the sale. This is an issue at Decatur, Gravette and Gentry Dollar General stores. I had also asked about requesting a certain item be regularly kept in my home store that other stores would normally have. I was told they just get sent stuff and they have no control over what they get. AWESOME SETUP TO KEEP REGULAR CUSTOMERS HAPPY...(eye roll)

The dollar general in Decatur is the best one by far that I've ever been to! It's always clean, the isles are easy to get through and the employees are very helpful especially Holly she is a very happy and makes you feel good and puts a smile on my face!

Holly shows the best customer service and today the store had half of the lights off due to electrical problems but I really enjoyed the dim lighting provided by the store. It was a comfortable experience while I was shopping.

Today the gentleman behind the counter was polite and helpful. I shop general dollar a lot. Usually Fay.area. Though at this store before a few times, the person behind the counter looked like appearance was not know to him and her. Awful and the first visit the guy was vicious and meant not to be nice.

Only gets a 4 because of comparing to other local DG's. Definitely the cleanest and best Dollar General to shop at in the area, by far better management and organization then other local DG stores. There is an older lady named Tina that happens to be the co-manager that works there, that I constantly notice being blatantly rude and disrespectful to her employees in front of customers, anything you ask for seems like an inconvenience, and how she got into upper management in retail still blows my mind. How a general manager looked at her and talked to her and thought this is who I want to represent my store when I'm not here, I do not understand. Asst Managers and sales associates are always nicer than your GM and co-manager. Seriously guys how is Tina still there? Other than that, one of the better Dollar Generals. Let's all use our brains and shop at Walmart.

It's a small town with the D.G acting as the local grocery store. I wish it had more variety & lower prices. . All the staff are very nice and the store is kept pretty clean.

Other than the isles being full of merchandise to be put on shelves which makes it hard for a person that needs a wheelchair or walker I love Dollar General and it's not just one store it's every Dollar General I've been in so far seems there isn't enough space for all the store's merchandise.The staff are friendly and helpful
