1/4/2024 visit. Clean, organized store with multiple friendly, helpful people working. Good selection of items in every department I walked through and I found some bonus markdowns! Every item rung up for the correct amount that was listed on the shelf. That was nice (as compared to other places) to not have any surprises. I'll definitely shop here again!

The produce section is horrible. Most of the younger people who work there doesn’t even know what a vegetable is. I was told that you can peel off the rotten leaves from the Brussels sprouts and it would be good underneath! I was told that the person who worked the produce left early that day but these vegetables had been there for days….it’s like they just don’t care.The people in the deli area are usually rude and pretend they don’t see you. I rarely find everything that that’s on my list. I won’t go there anymore unless I absolutely have to

Easily the best grocery store ive gone into in a very long time. Was not expecting it either. Huge selection of products. Unique and otherwise. They even had sourkraut. I havent found sourkraut since ive been on this road for 4mon. But what got me to write a review on it was the service. Everyone was super friendly. I even came in at the time theyre winding everything down and were stalking shelves. I grabbed some sliced meat ofcourse when everything was shutdown and the employee still cut it. Then i asked a passing question. If they had any Protein powders. One of the ladies working the cash register took me through 2 isles then asked another employee who recommended another isle. No luck but after getting my stuff scanned she had another idea and checked on it. No luck. The effort alone was enough to make my day. Even the customers were friendly. Hell, i probably need to move here. Was not expecting the effort.

Friendly home town feeling. Very helpful, and not a bad selection of products. Pricing could be better, but as a truck driver, I understand the increase in pricing. I would definitely return for more shopping if I had the room on the truck for more healthy foods. Thank you folks for a friendly shopping experience.

This place is in a small village town. It has been rename three times from it's original owner to the present name. The place is clean. My driver enjoys the place is only a few miles from the estate's. The prices are extremely higher than all the super mega stores. Bring extra dollars you are going to need them on this store. Is a store for well over middle class.

This place has gone from one business owner to another with little success. The prices are higher than your typical franchises. I am not endorsing, other franchises only making a comparison from one franchise business to another. This new business in the village has to prove it can operate in a small population area with no more than a few hundredth.

A pretty decent small town grocery store.Bright, well lit, clean....Pretty good range of items/brands/products.Prices a bit high... but not out of line fir this type/size of store.Very good produce and meats - and we found a very good deal on meats there.Staff very friendly, welcoming and helpfulYou'll more than you would at Walmart....But a pretty good place for groceries

I usually like this place usually friendly people. But last time I had a male cashier that came to help with how busy it was and he was super rude and threw my receipt at me.

ladies in the deli were not a bit concerned about a customers need to be served quickly... in fact one commented that they only have one speed then walked away...the customer left because they didnt have time to wait for the deli personal to take their time... while I can appreciate good old hometown way of doing things ...these ladies were being unbelievably slow and that comment and the lack of concern for the customer was just plain rude and it made me sad to watch

Besides the ridiculous inflation of grocery prices, the cashier's don't seem to quite know how to ring up WIC correctly. They definitely need to put an "approved list of WIC foods" at every register for quick resolve of WIC issues.

I give it two stars because the only positive about cv's .... is the bakery. The selection and quality of the food in the entirety of the store is awful i.e. the produce is never fresh and almost always is half rotten on the shelves. My judgement is specifically for the danville location.

Very friendly employees and picked up some grapes that were out of this world. Fruits a vegetables were shy, but we were able to pull together what we needed👍👍

They had chicken on sale at deli, there was none said 20 minutes, after 30 minute was cooked. Took clerk another 15 minutes to put into bags, and dip up rest of the 2 meal deals I ordered. Results over cooked chicken and and Mac and cheese was as cold as having just got out of refrigerator and mashed potatoes were Luke warm.oh ya they only cooked thighs instead of mixed. Also another customer asked for chicken 2 strips. Clerk knew her and I saw her give her 4 strips and some potato wedges. Charged her for 2 strips. When I asked to speak to manager, he went home at 4 and it was now 5:30.

Very nice small town grocery store the prices could be a little bit cheaper but considering they're the only grocery store for 30 miles it's understandable the staff is very courteous and very polite and very rarely are they out of stuff they normally carry

This particular CV's branch is pretty good in my experience, but what I would like to see is a location closer to me, as since the city Havana has built our own Dollar General, I'm guessing that CV's is losing business.
