Well, it was a sad trip to the grocery store. I'm not one to go on a rant, but this is ABSOLUTELY RIDICULOUS! All I needed was some Miracle Whip at Goodes Cashsavers in Damascus. The sale price is $4.99 which is just a little less than regular price at Walmart for $5.48. However, the real kicker is that the REGULAR PRICE IS NOW $10.28!!!! I mean look at the other prices of the smaller jars! At Kroger, which is on the high end, regular price is still $6.49. I am ashamed of the price gouging that is going on at this store! It used to be such a life saver if you needed to run and go grab something you needed. Even if you spent just a little more, it saved you in gas to just run here, BUT NOT WITH THIS!!THIS IS TAKING ADVANTAGE OF OUR COMMUNITY! We have lots of elderly who cannot travel far for there groceries, and shouldn't have too. This is just robbing them blind, and not to mention it's taking the money of the people who may not have much for food an just trying to get by on what they get every month. I AM ASHAMED AND SICKENED. This is just one of the items in that store that is way too high, and not to mention I have purchased things and get home and it is no good. This is not because of inflation nor the pandemic, this is due to selfishness.OUR COMMUNITY DESERVES BETTER.

Some of the sales are definitely good, but you need to stop and calculate that 10% markup before you ultimately decide, bc that gimmick is what gets ya, especially if you make big purchase. Four dollars for a forty dollar purchase is one thing, but 10+ for 100 or more is quite another, especially when their prices already tend to be high.As far as the people go, the workers are all nice and helpful. The store is very clean, including the bathrooms, and everything is well stocked.

This is a pretty great little grocery store that I visit often. I'm not sure I would do my whole grocery list here, but it's great for picking up a few quick items. A lot of their items can be overpriced, but they are a small town store with a great selection so that's to be expected.

The people was nice the store itself is not bad the meat looked very bad very discolored and looked really old. Okay I have come back to the store and the meat looked really good and had a really good price props to you good work.

Very nice people. I was sitting a child with autism this morning plus had my 1 year old with me, it is difficult to get both out in store. This morning I needed milk. I called inside and they went got the milk, sugar and creamer for me. They came outside got my money and brought money and items back to me. I appreciate them so much for that. They have the best staff in the area !!!

Usually great deals on fresh cut meats. Only downfall is they will carry something one week then the next not have it. Gets old trying to figure out different brands to eat. Over all can get a lot of food for a great price.

Prices are as high or higher than a regular supermarket plus they add 10 percent to their already high priced items. Some items such as Little Debbie Strawberry donuts have the price jacked up above the original price on the bag. Employees except one are very friendly and helpful.

Great location for quick items. Limited selection on fresh produce but mostly has what you need. Good place for Damascus instead of driving farther to get small amount of groceries.

It's a great place to shop. You can get about anything there. And it's close to where we live, don't have to go way out of your way to get potato's for ect. I love it.

This stop is in Damascus. A smaller store. But,I wanted Pork Cutlets ,for dinner. There was a small meat section. BUT.... the Butcher was on hand, he took the Pork Steaks w/ bone and fixed them up ,just the way I wanted. Very kind of him! Just goes to show,small town folks are willing & able ,to take care of you. If you just ASK. The store had all the essentials. Including great smiles & kind words. Shop there !!

I like the store , but I don't like the cost +10% Nor do I like the change made 6 mo or a year ago adding the 10% to each item. This is a bit more than 10% to the total. If it is added to each item put the right price on in the first place. Just end the cost+ farse.
