Very disappointed. They sent the incorrect item and I am trying to contact them to resolve. The only way you can contact them is through email. They say they will respond within 48 hours. Nothing. At this point I just want to get a refund and am waiting to send the incorrect item back. I understand they may be busy but I am sure online sales play a vital role in their business.

The reason why I give this store a 1 star is because of their contact protocol for customer service and support. It's Email only and they don't respond for several days. Why have a phone number in the first place if it's email only. I've not been able to talk to a live person and I'm 200 miles away trying to get information on a product they sell.

Found a great deal on what I needed on their online store. Ordered online despite the outdated website and poor reviews. Got a shipping notification 3 days later and parts are expected to arrive within a week of my order date. Happy my experience wasn't the same as all the other reviews with having to fight to cancel orders that never shipped.

Ordered a product from Ideal True Value Online only because I thought the item had been discontinued and they still reported an inventory. Wow. Two weeks later and I'm still waiting on the item. Not sure I'll ever receive it.

I ordered fence parts from Ideal True Value Online. After 10 days without a shipment notification or notification of order delay, I have contacted multiple times via email to check on the status of my order. I have not heard back after three attempts to contact them. I still have not received my order and they will not respond to request for refund now.Do not order from this website.

EDIT: The company reached out to me the same day this review was written to refund my order. Changing from 1-star to 3-star review.I accidentally ordered the wrong product from Ideal True Value and immediately contacted them by phone (which directed me to email them) and then by email to ask them to cancel the order, so that I could order the correct product. I have emailed them three times and have not heard back from them at all. They seems to have no interest in replying to me and providing any form of customer service for their online orders. I would not recommend ordering anything from Ideal True Value, as it is impossible to reach anyone at the company if you have an issue.

I ordered 10 cans of spray adhesive online from the store, they shipped me only 2 cans. I paid $131 for 2 cans apparently. When I called the store, they said it wasn't them, that is the other store with their same name and address that did it. EXACT Same name and EXACT same address. The charged me $131 and some change for two cans of spray adhesive and are refusing to refund my money or ship what I paid for.

I ordered, nothing came, I called and left message, I emailed again. Got a response that my item was on back order but would be in on the 25th of the month. I emailed on the 25th ... nothing. I emailed a different branch of true value, just to talk to someone. That branch had really quick and friendly customer service, but said they couldn’t do anything for me because it was an online order. I just got an email from the online store - they cancelled my order without advising or notifying me. I’m done with this store - online or otherwise.

Ordered from their site, hoping to get it sooner than Amazon as they were close...After a week, I called (they didn't answer the phone) left message...a few hours later I received an email that the order had shipped!!Yes, my credit card had been billed the day I ordered it. Finally received it 3 days after the job was complete.Guess there are two lessons: 1) Use Amazon Prime for everything 2) if you order from Ideal, call the next day and leave a message to remind them to ship your order.

Very customer friendly. If you have any questions, Steve Mann can and will have the answer to anything you need to know. Very hard working, I say would say Steve deserves a raise. He is the go to man. Does a little bit of everything in the store. Without him I believe they would lose customers.

If your looking for quality lumber and supplies, enter at your own risk..customer service.. well its what you expect from a small town lumber store. They usually never have the supplies you need. I placed my order today just to find out they only took cash because the internet was down. After going to the bank I went to pick up the lumber I purchased just to find out they didn't even have it. Just spend the extra time to go to home depot or Lowes.

I received the wrong item due to an outside warehouse error. I emailed the website, got a prompt response and had the right item sent to me with constant update on it's delivery. We're human, mistakes are made, but good customer service always creates a good experience. I was very happy to receive the item I wanted that I couldn't find anywhere else, and at a very good price.

Online experience is atrocious - I'm in Austin, Texas, just about a day's drive away. I ordered several paint cans almost two weeks ago, thinking they should arrive within 3-5 days (reasonable considering proximity). After waiting a week for any kind of shipment notice or tracking number, I emailed their customer service (their phone hours are ridiculously restricted and are only open while I'm busy at work) asking for an update - no response. Three days after that, I get a notice from FedEx that they're on the way, only to be another three days away from that point.Stay away from their online shopping at all costs.

Easy to find location with moderate parking. Upon entry, friendly staff is ready to help you find any item in their inventory. Competitive pricing and a large, drive-thru, lumber yard on location. I've been a customer for years and surely will continue to frequent this location for Baltic Birch among other construction materials for years to come! 10/10 would recommend!

I wish I read the reviews before I ordered from Ideal True Value. If you want to return an item, you have to pay for the original shipping cost (how much they spent shipping the item to you) plus a 15% restocking fee. To top things off, Robert was completely rude. I would strong advise not doing business with them.

Nothing but positives to say. Seeing some of the reviews about their online ordering I was a little apprehensive so I first sent an email to their customer service department to confirm that they had the items and quantities I was looking for in stock. I waited three days and didn't receive a response, so I sent it one more time and received an immediate response. Not sure what happened with the first email...Anyway, I responded to their email, and asked if I would receive the item by a date 9 days in the future (in time for a beach trip) and received a prompt response that this would not be a problem. Completed the order, and the item(s) came two days later. All in all, pretty amazing. From the first email (that went unanswered) to receiving the items was 7 days. I have no complaints and the items are exactly as advertised. Thank you Robert!

Stay away from this company for online orders. Poor customer service, you cannot call them and you have to email them to get them to respond. Company seems to have products purchased directly shipped from manufacturer once you've placed order. Not very accommodating to customers request since they won't accept phone calls. Not the True Value I'm use to dealing with.

I ordered Satin Nickle door handles from these guys. I never opened the package. When they arrived, the contractor informed me that we actually did not need this extra box. When I asked to return them, they wanted to charge an outrageous restocking fee.

I placed an order from Ideal True Value despite the bad reviews that it has been only because their prices were so cheap. It was worth it to me to have to dispute the transaction on PayPal in the event that I did not receive my items.I ordered over $300 worth of black iron fittings on 3 Oct and received a shipping tracker within a few days. I was still a bit skeptical because the package tracking weight said that it was only 20lbs (when my order totaled 90lbs). I received a package within the shipping time frame (8 Oct weighing 85lbs) and inspected the items that I received. After Itemizing and counting all of the items I found (as others found) that they only sent me half of my order. I attempted to contact the company but they never answered any of the calls (or voicemails) that I left. My wife just gave birth to our baby girl so I couldn't deal with this issue for the moment and without notice (no tracking info) I received two more packages (12 Oct weighing 16lbs & 20lbs). I itemized and counted all of the items that we received and it was ever item that I had been missing from the first half of my order.The shipping issue was frustrating but I am just glad that I received all of my items.My situation is a bit different because I am only using these fittings to make furniture pieces but, had I needed these for plumbing purposes, I would have one major complaint about my order. When I placed my order, I selected all of the items to be Mueller Industries brand products (even the invoice states "MUELLER INDUSTRIES" on each item) however, none of the items that I received were Mueller products. The packaging only stated "True Value" and the logo was a "P" that was open on the left side of the p's loop. I did order ONE item that was Anvil brand and it came in as the true Anvil brand. I would assume that, if you want a known brand, you should probably select the Anvil brand so that you know what you are getting.Good luck to all of the future purchasers and I hope that you get all of the items that you needed.

I wish I had read the reviews and avoided placing an online order. The items were listed as in stock, it's been two weeks and they still haven't shipped. I emailed nearly a week ago inquiring about a tracking number and was given the run around. It sounds like some one in the Denver, CO warehouse will get to my order when ever they feel like it. Very disappointed...

I strongly advice to never order over internet from this place. I have payed for my item 2 weeks ago and nothing was shipped. No communications from the company as to why.I wrote multiple e-mails to them. I have left multiple voice mails asking what is happening. Nobody is going to respond to your inquires, keep that in mind. Businesses like this should be reported to BBB, which I am about to do. Guys, really go and buy somewhere else, run from this place as fast as you can.

Totally frustrated with this company. Sent the wrong size in the item I ordered and have sent repeated emails requesting the correct size or return/credit issued (no return label provided in shipment). They do not answer the phone for customer service. I have not received a credit or replacement with the right size, it's been over a month. I strongly DO NOT RECOMMEND this company to place an order.

The order box was damaged/contents by Fedex. After reading Ideal True Value.Store Policies. I contacted customer service with a pic attached per their policy and they replied that a shipment would be sent for a replacement. Four(4) days later. I had the replacement. 5 Stars !

They shipped the wrong size wheels for a wheelbarrow. Then when I tried to call for a return, the voice message said to email, which I did once a week for 3 weeks. I called true value the actual franchisee, and there was a sigh from the customer service person: "oh. That's ideal true value, an independent store." I have given up. Will never shop true value online again in whatever guise.

I've found them to be very reliable and small enough to assist you without searching for a salesman. Also equipped enough to provide the items I'm looking for. My family has used them for 50 years. They even have a machine to make a 2 sided key. The prices are a little more expensive than larger hardware stores, but I can count on all my hardware needs/desires being there.

I placed an online order with Ideal True Value for 20 hanging baskets. The value for the products I received was excellent. They shipped immediately and the baskets arrived in perfect condition. I will definitely shop with True Value again.

I read and noted the previous reviews. I also ( like others) had trouble with their internet ordering. However, I called the company (ph # is on website) and spoke with a gentleman about the issue and he took my order over the phone - he was very polite. I look forward to getting my order. I am giving 4 stars because my experience with the company, thus far, is a good one. Had the internet order went through, I would have given 5 stars. However, had the internet order gone through - I would have never spoken to the polite man who took my phone order.... so, I'm changing my review to 5 stars. In my opinion, "PEOPLE" make a difference.
