Man, if you need flies and are in the area.... you gotta stop here. They have the flies you need or they can make them. They are so friendly and helpful it will make your head spin. I came in seeking local knowledge and they did not disappoint. Next time I'm in Cotter or heading the the Bull Shoals tailwaters I will stop here. Great looking shop too. I seriously can't say enough about the staff. Fantastic experience here. I highly recommend them. It's no wonder I know people from AK to FL and several in between states that told me to come here and I live in AR. Why was this my 1st visit? Crazy, right? I can't recommend this place enough.

This place is amazing. We were down there fly fishing and my rod broke and needed a new rod. Went here and they set me all up with a new rod, reel and case for a great price. Bruce was very helpful he even took the time for us to go out back and taught us how to cast correctly. We ended up going back and replacing my father’s rod set. Great place to go.

Just had 3 days of great fishing, first 2 in very cold and rainy/snowy weather, with a very professional young guide named Steve from this Fly Shop. Caught lots of beautiful Rainbows and Browns despite the high water and freezing temperatures. Cotter Trout Lodge was also a very welcoming and comfortable place to call home during the trip. Can’t wait to go back in better weather.

Very knowledgeable/helpful staff. Helped set up a guided fly fishing float trip on the Norfork River with Oscar who knew the river well and what flies to use. Caught big numbers of rainbow trout.
