Amazing place with great fishing and outstanding views. Beautiful Babbling Brook is very serene.Nearby activities: This is very close to all the amenities of Cotter.Walkability: The ground here is relatively flat and easy to walk on. It's Serene wildlife is quite Majestic. We saw an amazing bald eagle nest right on the river.Noteworthy details: Bridges and walkways and Babbling Brook and River It is a hidden gem!

I've been coming here for years with my brothers from various locations in the USA. We love this place! It's rustic, off the beaten path, quiet, charming and you can walk into the White River to begin your fishing adventure. They provide all the necessities along with outdoor grills for the grill masters. Their connection to fishing guides is tops! We always end up with loads of fish. It is a comfortable, rustic setting for anyone who treasures the outdoors. I look forward to many returns!

I have stayed four times now, in two separate cabins. the staff is knowledgeable on fishing, take good care of the grounds, and are very welcoming.the river is of course right next to the grounds, making the morning launch easy if your fishing.cabins are well furnished, clean, and spacious with a good fishing cabin/ river feel to them. water pressures good, heat works well.there is also a scenic trail you can see from the resort that makes a good afternoon walk.grocery store within 5 minutes, several restaurants within 10 or 20.great experience every time, would recommend and will be back in the future.

As an avid trout float fisherman, this marvelous Resort has been my favorite for the past 2 decades. My husband & I just returned from a 4 day stay at His Place Resort in Cotter, AR. It was great!! We took a 1/2 day guided trout fishing trip & had so much fun! Brad was our guide. He did everything he could to make it a wonderful experience. We caught the limit & then released the rest. Our cabin was clean and had everything we needed. Julie was friendly and attentive to our needs. The river was at our back door. We plan to go back next year. I wasn't ready to leave. It was a lovely, relaxing place!

Steve and Julie are very friendly and make you feel right at home. Cabins are rustic but comfortable. Right on river with chairs to enjoy the river and birds. And if you are lucky, you get to watch Julie work her dog through an obstacle course which is amazing.

Great place with great people! Although we have not stayed there as we stayed at the rv campground next door, we go to His Place to see Julie before we hit the water to see what they are biting on and to get a refresher on how it's done! She and her husband are very helpful and outgoing people. Stopping by there to gear up is one of the highlights of our trip.Their boat rental is nice too.

Best trout fishing trip I have ever had and I have been fishing for trout on the White River for 35 years. This is our third stay here. No guide used, but the fishing was great. The owners are very friendly, and the only negative I have is the bed was a little too firm for me. Would have given them 4.75 stars if I could have. Sort of hated giving up my favorite fishing hole but they deserve it.

I love his place. I've been here three times now and love it. The rooms are nicely apointed and the rates are reasonable. If you rent a boat you won't be disappointed. They start quick and run very well. They so have 4 man boats. Would recommend, I've always caught trout on the white!

His Place Resort is an absolute gorgeous location! It sits right by the beautiful White River. You can fish, boat or even just relax on the bank while watching Eagles soar the sky above! There is even a wonderful walking trail nearby that makes exercising a treat that you can enjoy in all four seasons! The people that own the resort are just wonderful and welcoming, and they keep the place very nice and clean! This resort has everything you need to have a great relaxing getaway, but it is close enough to shopping and restaurants if you need them also!

Julie was great.. we will be back, very clean rooms.. Fishing was great, had never fished for trout before, the people in the area was friendly, a lot of good advice was given. The scenery was gorgeous.. it did rain while we where there, had some good quality time with the husband..THANK YOU JULIE.. we will be back..

Stayed there years ago. Great people running it and friendly. Cool bunkhouse. Nice tackle shop , Great for groups. *note* Everytime I pass the place running my boat up river it asks for a review!They have a neat rivercam. Useful.

Rustic in a good way. Pleasant atmosphere. Easy access to the water and boats are available to rent. Included in the cabins were pots, pans, utensils, bath towels, linens and pillows.We elected to wade on this trip and the fishing in the immediate area of the cabins and the adjoining RV Park gave us good results. I was able to catch (and release) two good sized brown trout as well as several rainbow trout.One thing worth mentioning - I brought my own soft bait with me and I was glad I did. I caught several fish with the recommended tackle from the bait shop on site, but things slowed down before long. After switching to my soft bait I was catching way more fish than the other guys in my group. And because the bait shop didn't carry a variety of soft bait I had to share my bait with the other guys.

I've stayed at five different places to fish for trout in the White River, and this is by far the most wonderful. The owners think of everything to make your stay perfect. The guides are professional and friendly; the surroundings are gorgeous. And the trout are plentiful!

We stayed there in a tent over Memorial weekend. They were very friendly, clean (bathroom/shower was amazing), provided us with wood for the camp fire, had ice on site... this was my first Tent camping experience and it was wonderful!

Not only is the staff friendly and knowledgeable but they provide a truly safe environment for wellness. My time there changed my life and one year later I continue to reap the benefit of those weeks. A place I'd love to visit again!

Very nice facility and a great staff that's very nice and attentive havee fishing dock boats, canoes,kayaks, and fishing guide available as well as a bait shop on location prices for baits are comparable to local Wal-Mart so that's good trailer we got had a grea t view of the river looked like so did the rest of them
