We spent a week at Denton Ferry RV park along the White River in our 40 ft 5th wheel. A small full hookup RV park with 1 cabin to rent. We had a pull thru site with gravel pad, nice size grass yard with picnic table. Some sites have firepits. The laundry room and small community room is nice. They have the best gravel pads we've ever parked on.

Best place to stay while Rving in the Mountain Home area. Staff is great, grounds are clean and the few full time residents are extremely friendly and helpful.Laundry and showers are extremely clean with plenty of hot water water. Showers provide plenty of privacy and space.Fishing and hiking are just a short walk away. And the sunsets are breathtaking.

Very professional. Got a personal call on Christmas eve to make sure I didn't have any questions or concerns for my stay on Christmas day/night. A + would recommend and will chose again when in the area.Safety: Police car was stationed there all night making it feel safer.

If you like to fish, this is the place. Easy walk in access to some nice holes. We chose a riverside spot, and enjoyed the view. The staff we're very friendly and helpful. They brought us a fire pit and a bundle of wood for $5, which saved us going into town to buy one. The bathrooms and showers were spotless, (you can literally smell the clean). The laundry room is also spotless and came in handy. We will be going back. Thank you Denton Ferry.

We so enjoyed our stay at Denton Ferry! This was our inaugural travel trailer trip with our friends. They have stayed here several times before with their 5th wheel. I loved how the owner was so friendly and made an effort to get to know everyone and to connect people. We got a spot right on the river, it was beautiful! The facilities were nice and clean. We loved bike riding around the area. Went fishing too! Will definitely be back.

We really enjoyed our stay over Memorial weekend. Spaces are large with a grass area with a picnic bench, and fire pits, with room for dogs and kids to play. The staff is friendly and helpful. Facilities clean. Beautiful scenery! Right by Cotter downtown, bridge, park, and great fishing/boating on the White River. Great area for recreation and water for the whole family. We enjoyed it so much, we already booked a trip for next year.

We have enjoyed staying here twice this year 2020. Once in July and once in late November. Each time, Doug and family were highly responsive, they take customer service very seriously, and the park was exceptionally clean.They are always ready to do the next thing to make sure your stay is top notch.Definitely recommend this as a great place to stay with easy access to the river. Excellent fishing, good folks, nice bath house and fun mugs and T-shirts at the store. What's not to love? Maybe the 6 hour drive home is not to love, but still - I can't wait to to back.

We had a 10 day stay with our 5th wheel camper and would highly recommend this campground. Doug, the owner, and staff were very helpful in making our stay an enjoyable one by arranging fishing and float trips for us. The park is very clean- bathrooms, showers and laundry room were spotless. Camp sites are spacious and neat with nice grassy areas. This is a great location to enjoy the Ozarks and the fabulous trout fishing on the nearby White river.

Doug the owner is fantastic we have recently purchased a home in Mountain Home and are currently living in our fifth wheel until we can move in it's been difficult to find a decent park to accommodate our large trailer and truck Doug has worked it so we are able to stay moving places around so we have a place to stay. The staff is very helpful and the park is impressive and very tidy. They pick up your propane from you site if you leave your bottles out. Doug /Bruce and Kim are always around to help with your needs. I can't say enough of this place and hope to stay here in near future for get away spot. Thanks again.

It's a great place and we enjoyed our stay. Serene, beautiful river with tons of birds and wildlife. Doug met us coming in and was very accommodating and friendly. If you visit and have time, try a canoe trip with Wild Bill's on the Buffalo River. We had a great time and look forward to coming back!

This was my first stay at Denton Ferry RV and it won’t be my last. If you don’t like this place you don’t like Christmas! We stayed for 2 weeks and thoroughly enjoyed every minute of our time at Denton Ferry. The overall park facilities are top-notch and the park grounds are immaculately manicured and maintained by the owner, Doug. The bathrooms were extremely nice and were cleaned regularly. All RV site connections were well located and functioned flawlessly. We had the good fortune to have and enjoy a stunningly gorgeous river-front site on the banks of the White River. Waking up in the early morning and viewing the fog-laced White River through our rear bedroom window was nothing short of spectacular. When water conditions cooperate you can wade fish for trout in the world class White River directly from the RV Park. The genuinely personable customer service provided by Doug was outstanding and beyond anything I have experienced in all of my Airstream RV travels. He regularly and openly communicates any and all information you need before you arrive, while you’re there, and after you leave. And, Doug is always doing his very best to work with you to accommodate your specific needs and ensure that your stay at Denton Ferry is most pleasurable. I looked at other private RV parks in and around the area and IMO nothing comes close to matching the accommodations and aesthetics provided by Denton Ferry. In sum, I highly recommend this RV park if you’re looking for an RV site in or around Cotter, Arkansas. You will not be disappointed. Thanks so very much for everything, Doug! See you again soon.

This is a great place to park your RV. The sites are large and fairly level. The restrooms are kept very clean. The laundry room has 4 washers and dryers. It is credit card or app on phone so convenient to use, the room was spotless. There is a small store and propane on site. The scenery is beautiful with the river right behind park. And best of all Doug the park owner was absolutely great, he always made sure to ask us if we needed anything. Would highly recommend this park. We will stay here in the future if we are back in the area.

This is a sad and scary time to be leaving Denton Ferry where this gold mine is hard to find anyplace else in Arkansas or surrounding states. To strike it rich is to stay here at this most beautiful and awesome park. Well maintained facilities nestled inside towering trees and beautiful meadows People are so kind and the owner of Denton Ferry, Doug Ernest, is like the son or brother you wish you had. He is the best father to his two beautiful boys, those little guys are so very fortunate to have a dad that does everything he can to make their lives a continuous holiday. Wow! One can only pray for that kind of love from a dad! It is so difficult to move on but not for long , I will keep my thoughts of returning to this awesome fishing villa. No place like the white river to catch that perfect trout you have been waiting to hook. If you find yourself in Arkansas you will not be disappointed at this location and the feeling of being part of something very special, a home away from home. No one will ever make you feel unwelcome here at this very beautiful and amazing piece of fishing heaven! Doug will always make you feel like family. Just the two of us as we plan our trip back east it is nice to know we have amazingly good feelings here , like visiting family, we will be back.

This summer has been my first visit to DFRV Park and it didn’t take long for me to be pleasantly surprised with the quality of fellow campers, management and their superior amenities. The camp is 100% animal friendly, which was imperative in my decision choosing a park. Doug and family have gone, and continue to go above and beyond any standards I originally had for my stay. The grounds are very well kept. Space between sites are more than adequate and some spaces have fire pits. Trees line the park along the river, really pretty.Laundry room is clean and convenient.There is now a nice area by the office to watch TV, picnic tables and I believe they are building a outdoor kitchen by the office also. Plenty of outdoor patio heaters around the area to keep you warm.Management is extremely organized and more than accommodating to guests. They sincerely care that your stay is pleasant.If you stay there be sure a take a long drive down Denton Ferry Road, it’s a beautiful drive especially during the fall.I would definitely recommend staying here. One of the better RV Parks we have ever stayed at.

We absolutely loved our time here. The owners and staff (Bill, Mike, and Doug) are all incredibly accommodating and helpful! The grounds and buildings are very, very clean and well kept. They also do an excellent job of managing many different personality types and guests who can be a little high maintenance. The bathrooms were the cleanest I've ever seen and they have Speed Queen laundry machines which are my favorite! They have excellent tips on local attractions and which things to do and which things to skip. Also, for the amount of amenities and benefits we experienced while staying here the value was second to none. highly recommend you choose this place over others in the area. We met so many new wonderful friends here! We will definitely be returning season after season!

We stayed during Thanksgiving week to visit family in the area. This was our first visit to Denton Ferry and plan on staying again when we plan another visit. The park was clean, quiet and beautiful. The spots are large and we had plenty of room for the family to all be outside without feeling crowded or bothering the neighbors. Fishing and hiking were the activities of choice and we didn’t have to leave the park. It was a perfect place to get together. Our spot was overlooking the river and it was the perfect place to relax.

This is one of the very finest establishments to stay. Very classy with wonderful staff!! Clean and well kept. They make sure u have all u need for a great stay. Wifi is outstanding as we watched the NHL playoffs. I love the paperless system. All info is complete and emailed to u day by day as your arrival approaches. We knew what was expected of us and all who stay there. Arkansas is a beautiful state. I grew up in Little Rock. We did a guided fishing trip on the White River. The Buffalo river is amazing. The first National River. You should experience while u r here. Thank u to Denton Ferry for a great place to come back home to from Nebraska!

Just left Denton Ferry Monday morning and im feeling as though it was not supposed to be . this park is and has been the most welcoming place you could ever find. The owner Doug Ernest is the best man to meet to supply any of your needs not to mention the great fishing you can do . i can never thank him enough for giving us the red carpet treatment my entire stay. I will never forget this beautiful park the best around..
