Vilonia Animal Clinic has been amazing! We’ve been going to them for almost 7 years. Our dog, Jett, absolutely loves the vet. Our newer puppy, Zoey, is getting used to it and they have all been wonderful in trying to make the vet experience as good as possible. They timely respond to texts and messages and have gone above and beyond by responding on weekends and filling prescriptions so our dogs didn’t have to suffer through the weekend. They fully explain everything and everyone is super friendly.

This place is THE BEST! They took the ABSOLUTE BEST care of our sweet boy Moki! These people went above and beyond, kept us updated each day on his progress, quick to respond back to us, very open about the price. Now we get to bring our sweet boy home, thank the Lord! This is who we will be using from now on. Highly recommend this place to anyone👍

I was greeted with friendly smiles. The office and exam rooms were clean and tidy. I was happy with Dr. Gentry and how he was gentle with my cat Claire. The tech staff is fantastic. I will definitely return for routine care for Claire. Thank you all for your kindness.

Everyone was wonderful when we took our two new adopted cats in for a checkup. Both developed sneezes after bringing them home from the shelter. Dr Paul explained everything to us and we are glad we have such a wonderful veterinarian clinic to bring our pets to. I highly recommend!

Dr Jenkins has always taken wonderful care of my pets. He has seen my 2 cats for a few years and now we’ve added a dog to the crew. I really appreciate how well he cares for my animals and explains things to me so that I can give them the best care at home.

The Veterinarians and their staff are always so kind and compassionate! I never have to wait and the appointments are easy to make. I drive an hour so that my pups have a great doctor. But my favorite thing and I believe is the most important, they get down on the floor and meet my pups where they are. I am not asked to hoist them up on a table where they are scared to death.

Dr. Chris is hands down the best of the best. Between explaining all treatment options and going over in depth of the test results. You won’t find another vet that truly treats your pet like their own.Another positive is he texted me the next morning checking on my dog to see how she was feeling.

VAC is awesome. They treat our animals like their own. They are always glad to see us when we visit, love on our animals like they are the only ones they care for, treat us like family & their rates are reasonable. We have taken our animals to them for years & will continue to take them there.

We moved from Oklahoma and had the best experience at our new vet. The staff was very kind. They took my younger, shy dog back for a heart worm test and when they brought him back to me he only wanted to be back with them. Dr. Gentry took his time to talk with me about all my concerns. Couldn’t be happier!

Dr. Gentry and his staff were amazing! They were able to get our pup in quickly and provided a thorough exam. They were friendly and knowledgeable- and most amazing of all when you walked in it did not smell like a typical vet office! Very clean- we will definitely be back.

We love this clinic. We have 3 dogs that they help look after for us and the staff is always welcoming. We are always able to get an appointment in urgent situations and they have great reminders set up to help us get our fur kiddos up to date and healthy.

I have no complaints at all with the service or the staff. It was all great. The price I felt was way out of line. A shot that was $26.00 at my previous vet was $86.00 . Other than that as I said it was great

They were absolutely amazing to work with! I had a procedure done that required a work in time to complete the procedure and they made it happen! Their vet came out and explain exactly what was done and how it went and was happy to answer addition questions. Very happy with the helpful staff and vet.

We have been taking our dog here for the last 10 years. This includes regular checkups, emergency surgery, and the random phone call for questions and concerns. They are considerate, polite and knowledgeable. I would absolutely recommend to any animal owner in the area.

The staff was able to get my girl in on short notice and provided the best service! I got an update call after her procedure and they even clipped her nails while they had her. 10/10 very satisfied

I had a traumatically disappointing experience with Vilonia with a female vet, who neglected to introduce herself to me. This, after having superlative experiences with the owner--a male--regarding canine health and reproduction. From my first experience, I had established trust with the office and felt very comfortable with the office. However, after my second experience, I will not return and am actively communicating with pet owners in the area about my experience -- they can judge for themselves. While the clinic has many services, is clean, friendly, and has competent front-office-staff, and competent technicians, and is owned by a very competent and professional gentleman, my second experience was so traumatic that I will not return due to the risk to my dog's welfare. I don't say that lightly as I am also a small business owner and want to support the community. In the summer of 2020 I brought two of my dogs to VAC to have their teeth cleaned--a deep clean procedure where the animal is typically sedated or entirely put to sleep to make the process easier for the vets. When I returned to pick up my dogs, I learned that the vet had removed 11 teeth from my female, and 3 teeth from my 2-year old male, who was a show dog. As an important background detail, I had had their teeth professionally cleaned previously and had cleaned their teeth at home, regularly. Their teeth were in very good shape and had been regularly attended to. Developing the scale of damage the vet suggested within a few weeks time is unconditionally false. Here is where the problem really begins: I was not asked about the teeth removal, I was not consulted, I have not even contacted prior to the removal. *AND* I left very specific instructions that I wanted to be notified prior to any teeth being removed. When I arrived to fetch my dogs--again both were champions, one of who was still in breeding years--I was told IN THE PARKING LOT about the teeth removal. It was the summer, blazing sun, and was very chaotic. The techs delivered the procedure report and procured the bill as if it were the same as clipping a nail. When I asked to set the attending vet--again she declined to introduce herself--when she finally did arrive, she practically laughed at my concern indicating that "she did what was necessary." I was absolutely mortified. I felt the same as if I had taken a vulnerable elderly parent into the hair salon and they removed an tonsil! Of course, the bill came to over $1250 for those removals. I can say without any doubt that the extractions were unnecessary and I can say without any hesitation that she deviated from normal professional conduct by not notifying the owner of her plan before proceeding.I discussed this with other owners, and they independently described the action of the vet as a "Mauling" and "Disfiguring". Henceforth, my female (who suffered the 11-tooth extraction) was unable to eat dry kibble, necessitating that I emulsify her food and mix with wet food to simply get the food down. She then developed liver cancer, which undoubtedly the development of which was exasperated by this traumatic event. I'm not suggesting the two are directly linked but her system was dramatically compromised from this procedure and it certainly did not assist her body's ability to fight disease and infection. My prized male was no longer fit for breeding as his bite was "off" and he was disqualified because of the perceived fault.I cannot express how disappointed and hurt my family was because of this experience. I have since contacted the clinic and as far as I know there has been no disciplinary action taken. I don't know if she is still part of the practice or not, but I have heard similar horror stories from other dog owners who indicated that she truly does not care about the animals and looks for every single possible "billing event" to increase revenue. Commonly heard, "they have a bad apple and I can't risk it..."

Vilonia Animal Clinic, and most especially Dr. Paul and Michelle at the front desk are the best. It seems most of the staff know our many pets by name and crazy injury stories and that really makes us feel like family. Dr. Paul is fun to talk to, extremely knowledgeable, and an excellent surgeon. When I had a human child, I really wished that Dr. Paul could somehow also be a pediatrician. Everyone here goes above and beyond, I’ve never once been disappointed.

I have been going to VAC for 23 years. I have always felt welcome and my animals have always been treated with compassion and care. Over the years I learned that there isn't a cure for everything and I am thankful that the staff was honest with me even when I knew it was difficult to give bad news. This trip was a good one, all good with the puppy. Good to see the staff again after this COVID mess.

They got my cat in quickly and were very thorough in assessing and treating her, as well as planning a course of action to keep her healthy. The staff was all friendly and helpful. I didn't feel rushed as I have in other places. It was overall a great experience. I highly recommend.

Excellent service. Greeted when I arrived. Tech came into room and went over why I was there. Doctor came in after examining my pet and talked to me. Never felt like I was being pushed out of the office. All was friendly

Dr. Paul and his staff are remarkable. He has such a gentle bedside manner and is thorough without trying to "rack up" a huge bill. He genuinely cares about the animals
