Stopped for groceries, gas and beer. Things went great until the beer thing — dry county. Sanctimonious nonsense imo. Store’s other problem is being run-down in a run-down area. Also no traffic light to aid a left turn onto the main road.

Who really writes reviews about a grocery store? I mean, what is there to say? At least that was my first thought. However here I am... Stopped in to get a little inexpensive lunch and was told by the big brotha' behind the counter to try his fried chicken. Man, does it have any flavor I asked with tons of doubt. Yes he responded, I make it myself! Hey how can I go wrong? After all it is just a grocery store. My expectations were already measured. But what a lesson I learned. Aside from his hospitable disposition, the chicken was damn good! I mean damn good! It was fried perfectly and seasoned quite well especially for a grocery store.i must say I rather enjoyed this little lunch snack from Kroger's somewhere in Arkansas.

This location is terrible. Almost every time I get groceries there are prices that are advertised that do not match the receipt. This has happened the last 5 times I've shopped here. I'm about to start taking my money elsewhere

I did a online pickup it was supposed to be $65 all on my EBT cuz all I order was food and I picked everything up at 3:00 p.m. it was all good and then by 8:00 p.m. they had added food to my order and charged my debit card $18.45 I was promised a refund I waited the 10 days nothing called back they said another three to five and give me $5 for my trouble on my kroger account. I called another 5 days later and was told I wasn't getting a refund.I even have an email from them stating I would be getting a refund for the $18.45 so now I have to go through my bank to get it and you can't call the actual store because they make you call the 1-800 number which is from another country and is very frustrating to talk to because every time you call it's a different person it's a different story one tells you one thing another tells you another and it's a headache.

Was able to get great drink specials on all soda products. The store only had self checkouts available, I do not like that. I believe the store should've had at least one regular checkout. I normally go to the signature store in Cabot and will continue to goto that location.

So I only went into the store for two items. I know they have a smaller selection, so I wasn't holding my breath that they would have the new Head and Shoulders Bare Shampoo. We were just right there already in the parking lot getting gasoline. Also I needed to get a can of crushed pineapple. So the only thing I left with was the pineapple. Because they don't have the shampoo yet. This store is a good place however to run in quickly and pick up a few items.

I liked the variety of this store. It had every little thing I needed. It was very clean and well organized. The staff was helpful and knowledgeable. I appreciated the health and wellness section, as well as green products. There’s also surprisingly clothing and household goods. It seems like an upscale (but affordable) super Walmart. I had a question and a staff member quickly assisted me. And then later remembered what I needed help with and offered assistance once more. Also there is a Starbucks and virtually everything you may need. Also, there is a water bottle exchange which was the original reason we went there. I think it might be one of the better grocery stores I’ve been to while traveling. It was actually such a pleasant experience for a shopping trip.

This store really disappointed me this evening. I walked in and the in person cashier, Breanna (? on spelling) was on duty as she was last night. It was about 8:20 pm. I was glad there was a real person on duty cause I was gonna do my weekly shopping on Senior Day. Well, I got my 15 or so items (about $50 worth) & come to the front to check out, and no one was there, except a young African American man Tyndell (? on spelling. He was running to the produce section to help another shopper (African American also) & when he came back finishing helping her, I asked: "can you help me check out?" NO is all he said. So, I waited for a minute, and just walked out!!! Marty, another Oak St. Kroger employee has checked me out on the self checkouts many, many times. I'll probably bring this to management's attention tomorrow.

At least the most disgusting Kroger I've been to... if not the most disgusting grocery store I've been to. Seriously, is this location just an outlet for the expired items from the other location? Salad looks like it carries more salmonella than a hairy chicken breast... how do you F-up a salad?

My grandmother and I Shopped for over an hour , got ready to check out and there were absolutely no checkers to be found. so we asked the lady just standing around running you scan what was going on and she said their checker just left 30 minutes ago To which we replied there has to be somebody working in this store that could check us out How about you would you check us out I can go through you scan I just do not want to check out my own groceries And my grandmother has this Government card To help her pay for some Of her groceries that needed the numbers punched in And there is no way to do that at the self checkouts To which the attendant responded "NO there is no one in this entire store that can check you out" so then I asked to see a manager she came up and told me the exact same THING To which I responded my gosh the customer service has really gone down Hill here when I worked here even the manager would jump in a checking lane if a customer needed. This is the worst customer service I have ever experienced in a Kroger store. I myself had worked for 4 different kroger stors in my life and if someone needed to be checked out while I was working there We found somebody to check them out that's just part of good customer service. Nobody wants to come to the grocery store after a hard day's work fill up a cart and then check themselves out . Being a cashier is one of the most common jobs and 1 of the most oldest jobs in America. What is this nation coming to when no employees of one of the largest grocery store chains in America will Absolutely Refuse to check somebody's groceries out for them Especially when Asked. I believe this is completely unacceptable and I will never again go to the Kroger on oak street in Conway Arkansas and neither will my grandmother. If I could I would rate than 0 stars

This place does not like to honor Kroger Mail out coupons. I went here on May 21st, my coupons were not honored because the self check black male cashier doesn't know stores within the Kroger company. I was put of 22 dollars. This is bad for business.

I love Kroger! It's my favorite place to shop. I just don't like how there is usually only one cashier. I prefer the self-checkout, but not when the line is half way down the chip aisle. Please get more cashiers to get people with baskets out of self-checkout or breakdown the other unused lanes and expand the checkout area.

Avoid! Poor selection of fresh produce, worse selection of organic products. The cashier didn't seem to know how to do his job, the bagger had to show him how to add Kroger account after card had been inserted. The bagger was the nicest person there, he smiled and said hello and even asked how I was. Then I got home and realized they sold cheese dip in mid-June that has a best by date of April. I called the store to warn them that they're selling expired product and the Customer Service rep could care less, just bring the receipt and they'll refund us. Then when I suggested they check the rest of the products on the shelf she figured out what department it was and didn't care about what product it was (I had told her multiple times by this point). So they don't seem to care about health and safety of their customers. I called back to inform a manager, same girl answered, asked for a supervisor she handed me to Tyler. Tyler, MIC (Manager In Charge) did not introduce himself or give his title and I had to ask for his name and position-- makes me wonder if he even was a manager and if so what sort of training they do. After explaining the situation (which I got the feeling he was rolling his eyes while I was talking in the confirmation words and tone he was using) he asked for the product name (as though the customer service rep did not write it down) and that was it... No "I'm sorry for potentially poisoning you and your family" or anything of the sort... (in fairness the customer service rep did apologize before she blew me off as though returning the money is all they have to do--which is fair but protect future customers from potential food poison too!) Will not shop here anymore.

Very under staffed, had to bag my own groceries because there was no bagger and the attendant was busy ringing up my items. Exorbitant prices on almost everything but the meat selection was great. Paid more than I wanted to but the quality of meat and seafood is much better than the other grocery stores in town.

The smell hits you as soon as you walk in, it’s almost like they’ve hidden dirty diapers all around the store. The produce is already going bad on the shelf and the store is in need of a good deep cleaning, not exactly a place you want to buy food at.

I shop here normally lately once a week. I went in today for normal shopping trip. The meat case smelt like pure rotten beef. It was horrible. Also I noticed on their shelves they had hot dogs that expired September 18. So be aware and make sure you check dates at this location.

The service is really good but the store needs remodeling and roof fixing. Do not go on a rainy day or you will think you just entered a store that has been robbed and shot. Ceiling tile holes, wet patches through store,... Im scared to see how the behind the scenes looks like.

I like their sales. It makes their prices better than Wal Mart prices. Produce is always the best next to farmers markets. They carry organic pork, beef and chicken, and great non dairy options. Also some vegan. Make sure you review your experience in the supermarket and give suggestions.

The staff is really helpful, and the store is clean. This location always has plenty of sales and is generally pleasant. However, the layout of the front of the store by registers is awfully cramped. It can get kind of claustrophobic during busier days, so be wary if you're nervous around people. It seems that the ceiling of the store in disrepair, but I won't say it really bothers me. I'm sure they'll get to it eventually.

Buyer beware. The store on Salem road didn't have a small container of White Pepper. I had to purchase 2 large containers. I called the Oak street store and they had the small container I needed so I drove there to purchase it but they would not refund my money for the 2 large containers I purchased from the Salem road Kroger. They said I could only return them to the store I purchased them from. I had to go back. This is why I normally shop at Walmart.
