I don’t go to GameStop often, so walking in I wasn’t sure where to look. Cecilia instantly put a smile on my face and helped me find what I was looking for and also showed me around to other things I would like. (I also overheard that she does a lot of their promo, so a hard worker too). She was definitely the light of my day and gave me not one, but TWO PIECES of her chocolates. If you’re going on a Sunday, ask for Cecilia, you will not be disappointed!!!

We preordered a game and on 10-12-2023 I received a call from a woman in that store that our game would be ready for pickup on 10-19-23. Never told me a time of pickup. We drove one hour and 15 min. to pick game up. Walk in store to tell the lady we was here (4:10pm) to pick the game up. She takes my money and then says I can’t give it to you until 11:00pm. I was like you’re kidding me? I ask her to call someone higher up to see if anything can be done. She speaks to someone and still nothing. The girl that called should tell the person when there are times. This is something that should Have been fixed when a mistake was on their end. We did try to call customer service and there was no help there either. It would be 4 to 5 business days before someone got back to us. Sorry customer service! The woman in the store was very smirky.

My opinion on this particular Gamestop is mixed. They're always low in stock and don't offer much for trade-ins though they've gotten a little better on values. I wish they opened a little earlier too. All the other game stores in the area are open at 10am and this store doesn't open til' 12pm which is a minor inconvenience. The staff doesn't seem engaged at all and as a customer I feel ignored most of the time shopping here because the employees will spend the entire time talking between each other instead of helping the customers. Feels a little rude to be honest, but there doesn't seem to be any management either so that's understandable.

Let me preface this by saying I hate leaving 1 star reviews.But my experience today warrants a 1 star review.I stopped by the store to pick up a copy of RE4 remake for PS5, I did not pre-order it because I wanted to wait for the reviews to see if it’s worth getting.I walked into the store and asked if they had a copy, I was met with a very belittling attitude and response from the girl behind the counter. She informed me they had a copy, but then proceeded to tell me that I was basically stupid for not preordering the game. While she was getting the copy out of the case she proceeded to tell me about other games coming out that I needed to preorder. I told her I was not interested at the moment and was met with another snarky remark “don’t get upset when you walk in and we don’t have a copy” she continued to press that I preorder these certain games because of bonuses and I kept telling her I was not interested. What she didn’t know was I had already preordered the game from another local game store.I understand you’re trying to sell people on preorders so they don’t get upset about not getting a copy of the game. But if I come into your store wanting a copy, do not belittle me for not preordering the game. Some people don’t do that because they’ve been burned by bad games. If you didn’t have a copy I was looking for, I would’ve said thank you and walked out.I’ve never left a game store feeling as uncomfortable and awkward as I did today. Even the other people in the store had an uncomfortable attitude after the encounter. If you want a good game store experience, go elsewhere.

TERRIBLE experience. We bought a used game from them and purchased the protection plan in case the game didn't work and guess what? The game didn't work! So we called and spoke with Michelle who was absolutely USELESS to our cause. She said we couldn't return the game at all, even with the protection plan! So we asked what the hell is the point of the plan? To which she said that they could replace the game, so we said let's do that... But she said they don't have another copy and don't know when they'll get another copy. They had another copy at a different store but they wouldn't get it sent to our store for us and we'd have to drive to go get it. Ridiculous and horrible customer service.

i ordered a preowned copy of animal crossing: new horizons online and it was ready for pickup very quickly. the employees here are quite nice even when they're stressed. will be returning!

This location refuses to answer their phone no matter what time of day it is. And releasing a game at 10 am on the day of release isn’t a early release and it’s pretty dang stupid to call it that.

I went in today for a switch that I had bought last week and came in to redeem my buy two get one free game and there was a lady seemingly left all alone at the front desk. Customers consistently coming in and her helping someone on top of helping me and she was never short of a smile and very courteous to everyone and made sure to greet people as they came in regardless of what she was doing. It was about the time for lunch so I assume everyone had just left and did not leave her on purpose BUT she did a stand out job of being positive and helping people and being cool with how much that was going on and being the only staff there.

This is the absolute worst game stop I have ever been to. The workers are rude for starters ! I bought my son a headset and purchased a warranty it quit working after 3 months. Tried to return it .... they refused to give store credit . Refused to give money back . Stated that it's been too long when the warranty I purchased is good for a year. Whats the point of a warranty if your not going to honor it .I was told trade it in for another headset. Why would I want to trade it in for the exact same headset when the other one quit working 3 months after buying it.!!!

Employees were caught up in their own conversation and ignored my need for assistance, prices aren't great for new system games or accessories, older systems have decently priced games and accessories. Overall it was cluttered, in disarray, products all over the place, and the gentlemen working had no clue anyone else existed.

Lady was kinda rude when I ask what was going on there later that night because they kept talking about something happening at 11:01 so I was curious I thought sales people were supposed to be friendly and explain but all she said in rude way was Call of Duty ... So Call of Duty what exactly I mean a Call of Duty costume contest maybe a Call of Duty tournament I really didn't know and when I tried to ask further she just looked at me like I was stupid. I realize now it was a game that was being released and feel a little stupid for asking but I don't know much about games and gaming and I just think she could have been a little more helpful after all it's her job.

This is the absolute worst game store I've EVER experienced in my life! Went in to do some usual game browsing with my husband and son. Upon checkout, my son had bought a $25 Xbox gift card. We get home and the code didn't work. Stated to contact the merchant for activation. We called the store 21 times with no answer!!! TWENTY ONE TIMES YALL!!!Finally, I got mad enough to drive up there. Guy rudely asks "Can I help you?" I replied "I hope you can, since you can't seem to answer a phone!" He told me their phones were down, how convenient!! (They were ringing off the hook when I was in the store right before that) After telling me that I'll just have to call Microsoft to fix the problem, I just walked out mad. To whomever owns this store, DO BETTER!! Find some employees who actually WANT to work there!! I don't plan to return, and we are a pretty big gaming family... Game point here we come! Will not waste my money or time any longer supporting such a store.

Pretty good deals if you're buying, but if you're selling their offers are the lowest in town. And it's worth noting every time I go in here it smells very bad. It smells like body odor all the time it hits me like a sack of bricks when I walk in the door.

Placed a preorder for pokemon legends arceus and was promised promotional art cards would be held because I chose to buy from gamestop. And that I would receive them when I pick up the game. When I went there they said they sold all of them before I even got my game. I feel lied to by the staff and that they only told me what I wanted to hear so I would spend money there. Waste of time if they don't hold orders that a customer pays for before anyone else.

We all know the stigma GameStop carries. They have a reputation for giving low trade in credit and badgering customers into purchasing or signing up for other offers, products, pre-orders, etc. HOWEVER, this store is a surprising departure from that formula. It is clean, well organized, decently stocked and has a manager that takes time to help not only her employees but her customers. I always leave the store feeling confident in my purchase and that if there is ever a problem it can be resolved. Also I assure you trade in value has gotten better in some cases, this is a business and they cannot and will not pay you what you paid for a game, you should never expect that from any store, and if you want to save a trip you can check trade in values on their website! The stigma for GameStop exists for a reason but I implore you to give this particular one a try, you might be pleasantly surprised.

Use to love going here but recently have had horrible service there. Not the people directly but store/company policies. Purchased a Nintendo Switch Game Labs for $79, the next day I noticed game at Wal-mart for $30. They told me that since it was open (by a 10yr old) I could not return it. So I asked about a price adjustment. They don't do that was told. Almost a $50 difference and not a care in the world. Have not been back there since. Happily getting my games from Walmart/Target/Amazon!

The Manager Nicole and her very diligent & knowledgeable Crew are many things to the Conway Location that have been consistent:1) There are many occasion I get pointed to a, "Must Buy" item (mug, backpack, pens, and clever shirts) that I would have otherwise overlooked.2) Most of the time I am as a kid in a candy store, with a handful of cash. When I am lost in all the many diverse choices for all platforms of console gaming I can rely on one constant fact.Genuine attention is given to each and every customer promoting a level of trust, and that is important, as games chew up your free time, as PAC-Man.3) "Where everybody knows your name" No, it is not Cheers. However Nicole is my, "Ted Danson" I have never walked into the Conway GameStop location and not felt more than encouraged to read games ... Truly taking my time.4) Phone etiquette: They are Profoundly Awful!!!!No ... Really they are true professionals when you call. I am one of those customers who like to call my local GameStop and ask questions, prior to the hour drive to the location.I have called on many occasions to check on a preorder and what bonus items comes with the requested product. They scour the Internet taking care of their phone customers the same way they take care of the In-store customers.I could go on and on however I just wanted to take the time and show my heartfelt appreciation and gratitude to the Very hard working Staff at the Conway GameStop.Thank You for your Time,John Edmiston

Worst experience ever! Manager was incredibly rude and unhelpful. I was in the store with my disabled father and 3 minor children seeking help with an iPod purchased there. When I asked for contact information for a complaint, the Manager threatened to CALL the COPS on me! While trying to get my father and children out of the store, he yelled repeatedly at me "Buh-Bye!". I will never shop at Gamestop

Gamestop is great. I love to stop by and check out the merch as well as the used games. At this location, there's a boatload of options for merch, from shirts to mugs. The staff is also really helpful, as they've given me recommendations as well as more information on pre-orders.
