Absolutely not. Manager makes very disrespectful comments to customers. Very snippy and short with customers if they simply ask a question where an item is located. She’s very hateful to her own employees in which a lot have quit on her supposedly because of it. Also, stop bringing a ton of products from the back of you aren’t going to put it on the shelf. A customer would like to come into a clean store and not have to wiggle between these silver totes and the isles.

I give it a one star only because there is no star lower. The Manager in the Dollar General store #06827 on Oak Street in Conway, AR, she treats customers disrespectfully making snide, unnecessary, and unprofessional comments when you ask a question making the store unappealing for people to shop there. Consequently, she runs customers away because of that type of ugly behavior.My experience with her in the store was: I asked the cashier to scan the price of a curtain set, to make sure of the price, so as not to go over budget. Apparently, the cashier didn't know how to do that, the manager told her to ring it up. After hearing the price, I replied, I won't be getting it. The cashier looked at the manager as if I had done or said something wrong. The manager proceeded to what felt like harass and insult me saying, "You always do that," I explained, "No I don't." I couldn't believe, she proceeded to go back and forth with me telling me, "Yes you do," at least four times. I explained, "You must have me mixed up with someone else," again she proceeded to go back and forth with me saying, "I know you." There was no justification for her behavior insulting and harrassing a customer. I am a customer. The manager displayed disgracefull and unprofessional behavior, and is an insult to working class people that would appreciate a job, and are capable of treating people with respect.

I Give them 5 stars for their great customer service they have. Loretta is always very nice to me when I come into the store. And Sunni has such a sweet disposition and a heart of gold! Thank you Ladys!!

Depends when you go. Consistency is not a factor here. If manager Loretta is there she will take great care of you and the store will be clean. Other employees, not so much. Short, cross and not professional. Shelves need some organization and there's always something blocking the aisle.

So crowded. They never stock anything and leave huge carts of boxes in the isles. Have to wait for someone to come out of the office to ring up my stuff. After I paid once the cashier walked off and left the register open and I could have easily stolen all the cash. I had to go back to the office to let him know he left it open.

Saw signs on I think was the seasonal isle not sure exactly what isle but they had swim stuff/summer items on sale for 50% off. The isle had 3-4 signs up saying look for “pink box” so I grab a beach ball with a pink box. I go to check out and it didn’t ring up right so I inform the cashier. She calls someone up and the lady says “oh yeah we’re no longer doing that sale it ended on the 23rd I’m in the process of taking them down” ....very misleading to the shoppers especially since there are so many of the signs up. The fact that it was 5 pm in the evening and you’re JUST now taking the sign down. The employee/ Dollar General should honor that even though it no longer is going on since it’s your fault you still had the sign up. It’s not the customers job to make sure you take down your sale signs. I went down the street to Walmart and bought a beach ball from there.

I honestly hate to post publicly unknown or questionable rumors but I was told from a pretty good and reliable source that this store in particular has a general manager, who is a female. I won’t go into specifics about her possible age or race because honestly it’s an irrelevant issue because it has nothing to do with accusations of her supposed actions. These “supposed” actions consist of this store manager, hoarding for her own use, specifically paper items, such as paper towels and most notably toilet paper and even Kleenex items. I was thankfully able to visit the dollar general store location off of Donaghey and they had plenty of paper products, as well as hand soaps!!! I honestly do not find pleasure from embarrassing or wishing ill on one’s employment, due to the stresses and realizing that the task of looking for a job seems to be the toughest job/task of ALL!! However, especially with all the paranoia going on right now, I would hope that this rumor is just that and is simply a weird, random and unfounded rumor. Hell, maybe the manager is hoarding these items for a greater cause?? Either way I think it is imperative for ALL stores to understand that now that many people have an incredible And increased amount of free time, consumers will and do tend to pay attention to those habits that stores often participate with or that genuinely run a smooth course. I definitelydid want to give this particular dollar general store location a rating of four stars because the lady that checked me out around noon or even 1 o’clock today was incredibly polite and very friendly.

1 star because it was open. Everything else was bad for business. Crowded. 2 employees, 1 checking. 6 to 10 people in line to check out and the female sat with her hoodie up, picking at her braids. When checker had a questions, she shuffled over to the register and mumbled some instructions. People go for prices and easy to get in and OUT of. I had purchased a basket full of things, if I had not wanted to start over, I would have laid my stuff down and walked out. DG is one of my favorite places to shop. So I know what a well stocked, clean, good well trained employees look like. This one ain't it.

Cashier having problems at the register and she had too look fir someone to help her. The lines were super long. One register could only take cash. They need to fix there registers. Keep out for look out when lines are long instead of hiding.

I went looking for Christmas boxes to decorate around the house (mostly inspirational) , and I found them! I wish they would sell the "Dear God" stockings, plates, ornaments, table clothes, etc. Like they did years ago..I LOVE THEM!!

I frequently shop the Dollar General. Id have to to say the one on Oak street Conway, Ar. Could be nicer to their customers. Not all personnel. Just A couple. Mgr. Never get her name cause it's always turned around. I know why now.

Cash register doesn't work. Bank card machine never online. Was in there 30 mins waiting in line for a pack of hot dogs lol. Then I couldn't even buy them due to systems failures. Don't blame the staff but do blame the chain. Wake up , hello ! It's 2020.It's happened twice. No next time! Sorry.Great location but cant buy it if they can't sell it!Dauhh??!

I like them alot but they dont carry some things other stores (dollar generals) carry, the store is the cleane ssf t nicest and customer service is great. I think the general bosses just need to give all their workers raises and get more product ☆☆☆

We are always going to this store and never had a problem until last week when a girl working closed the door in my face at 9:55 and said they were closed when I rushed to get there for 1 item before 10pm when they are supposed to close. I talked to store manager and she said they close anywhere from 9:45 to 10:00pm. I then went above her head and was told they can not shut the doors before 10pm. Another guy that was working there was waving and laughing at me when she closed the door. Very unprofessional and rude and there is no telling how much money we have spent at that place but they have lost our business.

Store says on Google to be open till 10pm yet at 9pm they are closed! Looks like the ACbis not working.6 cars have pulled up then left while I typed this. Lights are all on yet they aren't open! Last time I make this stop.

One of the more cleaner stores I've been to is on Oak St.. They are never a cluttered mess like many of the other stores with over stock flowing into the isle's on palates. All staff friendly and helpful.

The store often has unboxed items in the aisle and they're not always in stock on essential items or commonly purchased items. Not a bad location though. The staff is nice.

Extremely rude manager. Complaining about having to do other peoples jobs and just very unprofessional. The store is a mess and so hard to get down some aisles because they constantly have stocking carts in the way at all hours.

It has the best convenient multiple locations you can't go anywhere without seeing a Dollar General the clearance sales are awesome Cut Rate products. I go in one at least once sometimes twice a day for my daily needs.

Asst.manager will over charge you and keep the money...He done this to me at Christmas I asked him about it and he wouldn't give my money back. I bought 2old spice body baths for $8 on sell was charged $11..

These storea are everywhere. They should look into a program that offers fresh produce. It would make these store an actual convenience. Dolar general sightings are out new road trip game.

Even though we found what we needed, the store was very unorganized. Also, as we were checking out, the night manager corrected the clerk right in front of us about an issue she had with him. I thought this was very unprofessional. It made us feel very uncomfortable.
