The new business model for Dollar General seems to be run great sales and then never have the items! I have been there 2 weeks in a row to buy things they don't have, even though the sale just started. When I ask when they're going to get the things they have on sale, they just shrug and don't know.Now that I have that off my chest, I like the people who work there and they are doing a fantastic job. It's corporate that seems to need to get their act together.

As the pandemic continues, I have been finding DG one of the few stores to still be selling out of cleaning supplies, leaving (literally) almost nothing on that side of the isle. As much as I enjoy the discount, I would also appreciate being able to purchase the items I needed to get out for.

Liz successfully kept me in the line with about 15 other customers for around 10 minutes while never calling the other employee which I personally saw from the back to come up and help. I expect to wait whenever I come in to Dollar General because I know that the help that they hire is never very good, but oh my damn.
