K-9 Designs in Clarksville has been the BEST grooming experience I’ve ever had for my 8 year old Labrador Retriever. My dog had an extreme fear of grooming and nail trims. The staff at K-9 Designs was so professional that they took extra time and care to work on gently and compassionately getting her fear level reduced by over 80%. Now, my dog practically runs to their door! Highly recommended by me…and my dog!

Reasonably priced for a pet grooming place in our area. I have never had a problem with them. Always will use them and will always recommend them. If they can handle my crazy fur baby, then I believe that they are amazing.

Very awesome place! Love the affection they showed my dog. They treated her so sweet and spoiled her rotten for me. I will definitely be back. I've heard some nasty things about other places around me. But I'm Glad I took the time to come here. Best decision for my girl. They didnt make a big deal when I was specific on what I wanted done and they were able to give me a good time frame it would take to get it done. Very happy.

Called days in advance to book an appointment to have my dogs HAIR cut, nails trimmed, etc. the basics. Had my dog picked up and she looks the same as when she went in, looks like she didn’t even get her hair cut. The lady told my husband she didn’t know what I had wanted but I told her specifically on the phone my dogs shoulders were thick and needed trimmed. Unsure what the issue is but probably won’t return. Writing things down really helps. The picture of her in the truck is the last time we had her groomed (different city) and the darker picture is from today. Her coat is obviously too thick still.

Just moved to Clarksville. I called to book a cut for my golden doodle. I was surprised to get in the next day. We walked in it reminded me of a sweat shop. My dog wanted me to pick him up right away. He placed his head on my shoulder and didn’t move. The girl that checked us in asked what kind of cut we wanted and she seemed confused when we told her short for summer but not to short to see his skin. It was like a deer in headlights. I noticed a girl doing something with a dog behind her kept looking behind her paying more attention to us. That was another red flag. Our pets are our kids, if she couldn’t pay attention to the dog she was grooming. My husband and I had a bad feeling. Our pets have good sense of people I’m so glad we walked away. I’m not saying they may not do a good job on other breeds. But they are definitely not for us.

I took my dog today and wanted her washed and cut. I picked her up and she had been washed but it looked like barely any hair had been cut off just a light trim. So I scheduled her to be groomed at another place in lamar. Won’t be using them again. The only reason I give 2 stars is because of the price but I hope my dog enjoyed her $18 bath because that’s about all she got

I arrived at opening before anyone else, signed my dog into the first spot, and they gave me a time to return. When I got back they where grooming two other dogs while mine still sat dirty in the cage. I asked the staff if the other dogs had appointments and they did not. I am sure the issue is clear. On a more positive note, the prices where good compared to other places.

Absolute lovely people! They are very responsive on Facebook when I need to make an appointment due to lack of service where I live. They do fantastic jobs on both of my Cats, and my dogs love them too! Also phenomenal pricing! Gutted to be moving away soon I wish I could bring this shop with me!

Witnessed a poor Doodle cooking in the sun while people are just sitting in a truck nice and cool for at least 30min while I was at the vet. If this is how they treat animals, they dont deserve to be in business.
