Most employees are extremely rude and just seem miserable. The “manager” appears to be using some kind of illegal substance to get thru life. I went thru all the beef jerky sticks and found 1 out of 6-8 that wasn’t expired. I got a tea from the cooler, figured that would be ok. Got home, tasted weird…… expired in August 2023, it is February 2024 right now. Shelves are consistently blocked by product stuck on u-carts. The people of Centerton deserve a better dollar general.

The cashier that was working closest to the entrance today on (09/02/2023) was rude. Not sure what her name was but she looks like she smokes plenty of cigarettes and she had glasses with ratty brown hair (she was on the older side). Anyways, someone needs to put her in check! My younger sister and I were needing to use the restroom and we only saw the bathroom that said “MEN” on it!!!! Apparently that was the only bathroom available but the lady acted like we were stupid for not knowing that we were supposed to use a men’s restroom. I’m glad I didn’t buy anything! :)

Not the most well kept location. Open boxes and empty packages stashed around the store show the level of theft they have to deal with. Made me question whether or not I remembered to lock my car before coming inside. Some fun deals if you look hard enough. Parking lot is in rough shape and difficult to leave when it is dark due to a deep curb and no real defined entrance or exit.

I find this store a great value when shopping 9n a budget. You need to know your prices as everything is not a bargain however most items are especially anything that's a dollar. Sometimes in cheaper to buy in bulk vs buying single items for a buck so keep that in mind. The employees are usually nice and quick as they can be. I would recommend it overall

If you are looking for things that may be less expensive and know what they cost else where you can pick up some bargains here. I just wanted a few solar lights for flower/yard decor. They had those & a few other cute garden things. I will also normally check her for seasonal wreaths or things to hang on a door. My Mother is in a nursing home & likes to decorate her door & put up a few things around here window that represent what season it holiday is coming up. I don't break the bank picking her up things that she enjoys here. So why 3 stars. Aisles are almost always cluttered with new stock & hard to get around. You get what you pay for, so I consider non-grocery/household items, like their seasonal things disposable. Meant to only last a few months. As long as you know that you can save money & find some great decorations. They do usually have fair price on groceries & household items like dish towels to even curtains.

I like this Dollar General. They are well stocked and the staff is friendly. It’s near my home so very convenient. You can get everything from groceries, to clothing, make up and household items. It is handicap accessible.

They have a wide variety of items. Good prices on greeting cards. I wanted to give a call out to the associates in this store. Very friendly and helpful. Be sure to check out the discount aisle. I’ve found a lot of good items in this aisle for only a dollar.

Kind of run down. Not scary or somewhere I wouldn't go. I still shop here when need be. But definitely would be nice if they remodeled or updated it a little. The constantly changing staff are kind of rude and testy but if you just ignore them and go about your day all is fine. So over all, not somewhere you should avoid, but not somewhere I'd recommend.

They always have what you need & it's far more convenient to shop than Walmart. I love the smaller atmosphere & quick service. The male cashier (afternoons & night) is extremely nice & helpful although you may think he is quite; he remembers me from several years ago & that always makes me happy. If you need essentials in a hurry then shop here, you may even find a few extras for a great price.

It is always a mess. I've worked retail and I would never have carts left in aisle not being worked on. Lines always long for the 1 cashier! Cashier is always nice but store needs more associates or clear the aisles! One person can't do it all.

I have been gone for 6 weeks from town, went into this store and was totally amazed. It looked great, there was still a little bit of stock on the floor, but it was well stocked and clean 😉 👌I told the associates how good the store looked to be late afternoon.

They might as well just close this Dollar general down half the time you can't find an employee and what gets me they're always closed early 2 to 3 hours early.

This DG is soo full and full of options! My favorite baby wipes ever were here and i stocked up. The employees are kind and helpful! Will def be back!

Every Dollar General that I go to has the friendliest employees. The store is clean but in some stores the aisles are too crowded for the carts. Other than that I have no complaints and I go to DG just about every other day!

The general manager and regular manager of the store are both terrible at their jobs. Whenever I've had to deal with them it's always been a negative experience. BUT, every other employee is very pleasant.The store it'self is FILTHY and is in need of repairs, badly. I worked at a Dollar General in Port Orange, FL and our store was always either #1 or #2 in the district and I'm APPALLED at the state of this store.The fridges always seem to need restocked, the products on the shelves are usually displayed well however. Though, when you walk in there's this literal... pile of discounted items (old season/special items) and it's always just horrible and disorganized.

So, Dollar General. Well. Not everything is a dollar. But there are a lot of cool things that you can buy for a dollar. There was a pack of twisty straws that I never saw before. Lots of party favors that were interesting. Would I make it my shopping routine, no, would I go there during certain occasions to pick items I couldn't find anywhere else, sure.

I was visiting my son in town and needed a few things before I headed home two states away, the customer service was excellent! The cashier was very helpful in directing me to what I needed. She was very friendly also! I will definitely sto there next time I’m in Centerton!!!

Best thing about the place is the young men that work there. They have great attitudes and really try to do their best to make the customers happy. Worst thing about the place like almost every other dollar general, they usually only have one cash register open and take FOREVER to check out. Typical dollar store honestly.

Dollar General in Centerton Arkansas is a very nice store. Staff is professional and helpful, make sure you wear a mask for protection for others. And they have nice clean bathrooms.

Very nice people just a very small cramped store hard to get down isles always have carts full of inventory in the isles. Need to update store or not carry so many items. Need more employees to help with stocking and to help with check out!

The aisles are always crowded with merchandise. You can get through the aisles with a shopping cart. The employees are friendly but this place needs organized.

Like everywhere else during this time they were limited on supplies for cleaning, toilet paper Etc. However they have a truck coming in early afternoon today and there may be tp on it, staff was very professional, helpful, and as government requests kept a safe distance

I would avoid going to this place if you can. The floors are absolutely disgusting, it’s clear that they don’t clean at all. Definitely didn’t feel covid-safe.

Open when others have already closed, but so low staffed you just have to help yourself. Others DGs are not like this. Have had to wait for someone to come check me out. Others left because they thought the store was abandoned. Employees don’t seem to enjoy being at work.

Depends on which $G we are talking about. The 1 in Centerton is in need if some cleaning and organizing. The 1 in Central in Bentonville is clean and nice to shop in. The 1 in Decatur is Awesome! Even has gas pumps. Always great pices on simple things you need. Locally easy to find and shop at. I shop here when I can to save $.
