Everything was delicious. If you want a pancake larger than your head go here!! We were blown away with this mom and pop joint. A treasure in Bull Shoals for sure! My omelet was also amazing. Eggs were so fluffy, and every bite made you want another. Don't leave without trying the homemade biscuits and gravy too! 10 out of 10!! We will be back!

Excellent small town cafe! We had a nice breakfast spread to include hash browns, biscuits and gravy and the meat omelet. Every thing was delicious and the service was great! We will definitely stop here again next time we are in town.

Visiting my Parents in Bull Shoals and they took us to breakfast at Katie's (note: we ladies had stopped a couple of days earlier to visit the bakery side...). The food was delicious and the portions good. I had the meat lovers omelet with has browns and a biscu with gravy, my brother had the spinach and bacon omelet with grits. Others had just your standard eggs and sausage, an order of biscuits and gravy and the vegi omelet. No one left hungry and I took home leftovers!The staff was friendly, but have patience and grace, they have a busy place but are short staffed like many restaurants.Side note...the bakery items are amazing too!!

Great little place. I travel a lot with work and have had a burger here both times. Both times the food was very hot, and very good. The desserts look amazing but have not tried them yet. Looking forward to trying another menu item next visit. Very fair priced and very good comfort food.

I was greeted when I walked in the door by the two lovely ladies behind the counter.There's definitely a friendly atmosphere.The food arrived shortly after I ordered (I got the club sandwich), and was delicious and HUGE. I could hardly fit the sandwich in my mouth, it's definitely two meals worth. The fries are fresh, crispy, and delicious!After my meal I got their maple sweet potato cheesecake, which is totally to die for!If I'm ever in Bull Shoals again I'll definitely stop by Hank & Katies again! I mighy come back just for the cheesecake!

Wow! Horrible! Everything was just frozen items fried up....only "fresh" item was the grilled cheese and it was gross,wasn't even browned or warm had to ask them to heat it up in the microwave. Order was wrong and server told me the item I ordered off the menu didn't exist when he brought the food so he did a different sandwich...plus side the French fries and Philly tots were good.

Love these small town local cafes. We ate breakfast here twice because the first was so good. Don’t know how they make their biscuits but they are worth your stop. Fast and cheap in yesterday’s standard but unheard of these times. Loved the ladies helping out on the weekend mornings, and their chattering.

We stopped in at the place just yesterday for a breakfast and then heading home from renting a houseboat. The food is terrific! Pancakes the size of your head! and the flavor is all good. Prices are very reasonable as well and most of all the Ladies that ran the place on Monday were so super nice! We had a large group and we had to sit outside but it was comfortable and very clean. Very clean bathroom as well. I highly recommend this place.

Breakfast here was very good. Our party had the HUGE pancakes, oatmeal, hash browns, sourdough toast and Swiss Spinach omelet with so much crispy bacon. They were short staffed and working so hard. We can’t wait to visit again and try the biscuits and gravy that we saw another table enjoying. Baked goods in the case looked amazing and they have a nice outdoor patio, too.

We have a vacation house in Lakeview so we eat breakfast here almost every weekend when we come down to Bull Shoals lake in the summer. I’ve also bought desserts from the counter display to take home for after dinner. Everything is always cooked to perfection and tastes amazing. It’s down home cooking at its finest, especially the desserts (my granny would approve)! The staff is always very friendly and accommodating as well as fellow patrons. The portion sizes are big so you get great value for your buck. Beware the giant pancakes!! They are a sight to behold and nothing is better than seeing the face of someone who doesn’t know how big the pancakes are here when they first see one (I was that person when I first saw em). The place is a small little cafe atmosphere with a small town charm to it. We absolutely love Hank & Kate’s!

Nice little place in Bull Shoals with friendly service. Only had the pie but it was delightful. We had a slice of chocolate and a slice of Lemon and had I given into my more glutinous nature I would have certainly ordered at least 2 more slices of their other offerings. I will definitely be going back on this trip and all subsequent trips to town.

I got Philly cheesesteak and fries twice which were very good. I have gotten about 6 or 8 desserts from there though and only about half of them were good or a good value for the price. The display case of desserts looks very appetizing but most aren't as good as they look. The chocolate pie was gummy, the lemon pie was mostly whipped topping which diluted any flavor. The lemon bar was pretty good, but could have had more lemon flavor. The pecan pie and pumpkin pie were good, but the serving size was small for the price. They put everything in a refrigerated case, including brownies and donuts, which don't do those type of desserts any favors. The donut was inedible and it made the brownie hard and kind of dry.

Just wanted to have a good breakfast this morning at Kate's in bull shoals and right from the get go Linda that doesn't even own the restaurant came out trying to kick us out because she was having a bad day some months back. The owner said we could come back. The problem is I never said or done anything wrong. She had a problem with who I was with. But one of the waitress had to run her mouth and Linda came out like a banchy running her mouth. Some people are just hateful and rude.

This place has great burgers for a good price! The burger plate includes French fries that are seasoned and delicious! If you are staying at Bull Shoals and looking for a good place to have a quick meal, this should be your first stop. Friendly staff, great food, easy to access, fast service! Thanks for the great meal!

6 people with me on the 4th of July 7pm. Right after the parade. We were sat right down and fed fast. THE PLACE WAS VERY CLEAN!!! I had a Philly sandwich it was delicious. Highly recommend this place the waiter even checked on us about 8 times she was fast and polite.I wish I lived closer to here. I would recommend this place.cost for 6 people eating full meals was affordable too.

I was passing through and saw this little place and they just happen to have a taco salad special, my favorite!! It's a very nice, clean, friendly little place. It looks little from outside, but it's amazing how much seating they actually have. Plus a bakery with fresh baked goodies! ☺

We, my wife and I, were promptly waited on and ordered a simple breakfast. Then we waited. After 30 minutes and 4 tables that ordered after us received their food we asked the waitress about our order. She replied that the cook was making more gravy which was delaying our order. 15 minutes and the 5th table that ordered after us received their food we got up and left. We'll never visit this place again.
