Beautiful spot. Very well kept up with. Fish weren’t biting for anyone. But that’s the name of the game. Only downfall was #13’s water was abnormally lengthy away from the site. Normal length of supply line 50’ would not reach for us. Awhile having sewer hooked up. Would be fine for a unit with tanks I bet. Definitely swill stay again and have already recommended it to my family with an RV.

We ended up here by chance and so glad it worked out that way. The gentleman at the gate was very nice and accommodating for us. The park manager even invited us over for a bonfire with s’mores. The park was quiet and kind, but it was also freezing out so can’t speak on how it is in warmer weather. The views were beautiful and we can’t wait to return with warmer weather to play in the river.

A really pretty cute little spot for just $5 dollar day fee. We got to go in and have a picnic and swim. There were a few boats and lots of kayakers but still wasn't too busy. We had lots of room to swim and it was very fun. There are kayak rentals and RV site rentals here as well and it could be a nice spot to camp at.Playground: Cute old fashioned wooden and metal playground!

Beautiful campground. The upkeep is phenomenal! The hosts are very friendly and knowledgeable. My soon to be 5-year-old son and 15-year-old nephew love it. We will be back.

Stayed April 19-20, 2024. Campground is very nice. Lots of shade and close to Tablerock lake. Quiet except for boats early in the AM. We reserved a full hookup site and once we arrived we discovered that the sewer hookup on site 18 was on the opposite side as the electric and water. Very awkward. Never seen a site like that before.

We love camping here it's one of our favorite spots. Staff is super friendly and helpful. Nice quiet place to go with family beautiful view of the bridge and mansion. Park for the kids, a general store, bar, pizza truck, and winery nearby. Also eureka is about 15 min away. We like to take our bike when we go camping so we can ride around and look at the beautiful scenery. Oh and Pet Friendly! Perfect family friendly campground

It’s a beautiful place! The ground for tents is kind of impossible to get stakes in more than an inch or two and the bathrooms could use a little modernizing, but overall we enjoy staying there.

Great little campground on the White River. Great views. Friendly hosts. Take your time getting here and plan your route well, especially if you’re towing a trailer. Be aware of height and weight restrictions on bridges and plan an alternate route if needed.

The scenery is beautiful, and there was an AMAZING pizza place just before you enter the park. The price was really a bargain.I’m giving 4 stars instead of 5 because the bathroom (though very clean)was a latreen.I didn’t mind this at all,but my husband is kind of a sissy when it comes to the great outdoors. He won’t go to the bathroom in our camper and then refused to use the latreen bathroom,so he had to drive somewhere to go to the bathroom.I’d come back to this campground in a heartbeat though. It was clean and well kept. The people running it were VERY nice and accommodating. They’ve been running it for several years, and even rent kayaks there. It’s a neat little place, and the pizza place down the street was just so good!Again, the price was so reasonable.Worth overlooking the latreen bathroom over;)

If you are coming from the north. 187 is safe for all size campers. There is a no truck height 11' 6" but the camp ground is right before that bridge. My wife and I came in late and had to stay in another camp ground because that sign scared me. I promise you guys that camp ground is before that bridge and dont worry about it. There is even a sign right before the camp ground that you will have to go in the passenger lane to go around. 187 is clear to go to the camp ground with big 5th wheels from the north. Also go to railway winery, it's worth the visit!!

The only thing good about this site is the view. Bathrooms are absolutely terrible. Dirty and disgusting. The toilet has a breeze coming up it that makes it really odd and uncomfortable .You have to pay 2$ to buy a “token” to use the shower….the token last about 5 minutes. Pay 33$ a night and then pay to use the shower? I have absolutely never dealt with that at a camp site. We left a day early because our next site has maintained bathrooms that you don’t have to pay for …..

Nice campground, stayed cooler than others because it's right on the water and it's all shaded. There's a beach, boat ramp, playground all right there. The only issue we had was that there were some ants getting into our camper this time. We've been here multiple times and that's never happened before. We think it was just because the weather has been so hot this year that the ants were searching for water. So it really wasn't the campground's fault, just nature being nature. Overall, we enjoyed our time there very much.

Had a nice place to set up our tent. But the restrooms here are disgusting like horrifyingly disgusting we drove into town just to use the restroom over those nightmares.

*** READ THIS ***Little bit lengthy, but worth the read if you are trying to find the perfect campground...The staff (an older couple) are absolutely amazing and beyond accommodating. We had to push back our stay a couple days and they went out of their way to make it happen. They drive around and make sure everyone has what they need. Need firewood? - They sell it cheap, and they give you a lot! They have firepits and briquette stations for each individual site, immediate access to a very calm part of the water and it offers a view of the mansion right up on the hillside. They take care to keep unnecessary traffic out after hours so you don't have lights shining into your tent/RV throughout the night. The bathrooms were always clean, and they even have kayaks available for rent (I think it was $15 for 24hours).They are located about 15-20minutes from downtown Eureka (the cutest old school town), and about 25min from Walmart.-Bottom line is this, if you want to stay at the best campground for you, your family, or significant other, this is the best place. After driving around for a few days I am more than happy we didn't stay anywhere else. Do yourself a favor and book now.

We had a beautiful evening last Friday. Then apparently the campground host decided to place us in the middle of a group of very loud and obnoxious drunks. They blared music and cussed and carried on and were vomiting til at least 2 in the morning. We called the hosts number and the emergency number. No responses. Next day the campground host told us that we could stay there or he had one site left that "we" could move to. Any other campground these people would have been kicked out. Others in the park felt sorry for us for having to put up with that and did not understand why these people were not told to leave. Shower and restroom are $1 token for each use. Maybe per day...we didn't stay long enough to find out. Will never, ever go back. If you go and have trouble just call the Sheriff's Dept.

This is a hidden treasure. It's part of the Army Corp of Engineer campgrounds. Rates are very reasonable. Sites are not cramped, lots of trees, swimming and fishing, and pets acceptable. It is a quiet campground--no planes, no trains, no trucks, no late night campers (occasional sounds of high powered speed boats) ... Only nature night sounds.Walmart is 20 minutes maybe, Eureka Springs 15 minutes. They have their own Golden Gate bridge. Traffic is limited (single lane traffic) as to weight and height (nothing over 11'9" and 10 tons on bridge). No long term seasonal campers. Sites are spacious--drive through, back-ins, long n short, some close to beach, tent sites, electric/water and some full hook ups. 30 amp/50 amp available. Kayaks available to rent. Marina not far from camp sightBathrooms are so-so. Clean. Need to buy camp quarters to use showers. Does cost extra to use dump station if not hooked to full service.Host is super nice and knowledgeable about area. Guided me to my sight, and helped with backing in.Wood fired pizza available Wednesday to Sunday with music. We camped in a 30' trailer. Would camp again.

Was told that a camp site would be reserved for us a week in advance of our trip. Called the day before we left was told our site had been taken but was assured by the park staff they would hold a site for us,called again the next morning before we left and again was assured a site was reserved for us, after driving almost 2 hours we arrived to find someone else in our camp site. When we confronted the park staff we were told that it was the last week they would be open and didn’t really care. So we went to Ozark cabins just up the road while it’s not right on the river it’s pretty close and the staff went out of their way to help us out

Water is disgusting. There's a no swimming sign because the water is toxic but the lady said it's not anymore after the flooding. I went knee deep and said nope. Water is terrible. You have to pay for the shower even tho you pay for the camping.

The "gatekeepers" in between the beach and restaurants are extremely unprofessional and grouchy. Had a dispute with a few of the "gate" employees which led to the cops being called. Of course, nothing happened to either of us because there was not an issue in the first place. This was our families first time in Arkansas and now I associate the state with frustrated elders that have nothing better to do than cause problems.

Roger and Annie (mayor of Beaver) Shoffitt are such accommodating hosts! The area is really accessible and beautiful. Book early to get a spot down by the "beach". They also have firewood for sale, so you don't have to bring that with you. There is a newly-opened pizza shop that delivers to your campsite as well. Secluded yet close enough to Eureka Springs for a quick jaunt into town if you want to hit a few clubs at night.

Amazing views of the river, cliffs and surrounding homes, bridges in late winter the camp ground is not very busy and would make a great getaway for the weekend. And it is close enough to Eureka Springs that you can have a nice dinner out, go shopping or just spend your time fishing and napping.
