Ash Flat Walmart is going through a transformation. It is hard to find things now. But I am happy to see that it's getting an expansion in products it is carrying. I look forward to seeing it when it's all done getting a makeover.

I had to go in because the credit union is a branching network of my back & I WAS QUICKLY REMINDED 🙃 OF WHY I DO NOT SHOP OR EVEN STEP IN THAT PLACE!!! 😂🤣FREE admission to the zoo! The SMELLS, EAR PIERCING SOUNDS & every kind of animal u could imagine dressed in there cleanest PJ'S for the holiday season 🤦🏼‍♀️ Wont do that again, I felt like I needed a shower & change my clothes after JUST visiting the bank 🤯

Place is big and clean. It has everything we needed. Even the bathroom offered something new. On the bottom of the bathroom door, there is a little shoe ledge. See photo. If you don't want to grab the door handle, just step on the little ledge and pull the door open with your foot. First time I see one of those.

They are making a lot of changes and upgrades. It is in the phase 1 of it so if you walk in there bare with them it's gonna be great when there finished I know it. It seems like they are moving things around and that can always be a bit irritating but that is what they make the Walmart app for right? As long as the app is as up to date as the store then navigating should be fairly easy.

store has changed alot!! Def feel less like a criminal and more like a member of the community! I like the store manager and the employees are rapidly shaking off the everyone is a thief mentality make sure you say hi and give 5 stars at your checkouts

Worst employee's, they only walk around to talk to each other rather than stay and assist customers. There are also a lot of empty shelves. There is no customer service here, it's the worst Wal-Mart I have seen. It's way too tiny for the city.the worse of the worse.

This is one of the better Wal-Marts I've shopped. The employees are often helpful and easy to locate. Unfortunately, I won't give any Wal-Mart a 5 star rating until they figure out a better way to free up the aisle space. The army of online shopper rolling racks is ridiculous. In store shoppers should not be inconvenienced (punished?) because of people who don't want to get out of their cars. It worked for Walmart during the pandemic; now it's just greed.

3.25-3.5 Clearly, Biden has not helped matters. But Walmart, after shutting down the vast majority of the competition has notably higher prices. What irks me is they have rarely had functional electric carts and several times they have powered down while in the back of the store. The disabled can't push 500 lb. carts!

I absolutely hate going into the store. The Ash Flat one has horrible service. I have dealt with rude employees who stand and talk blocking isles, no responses when ask for assistance, We purchased a new TV. In the box and it didn't work after opening. Upon trying to return, we were told NO RETURNS FOR ANY ELECTRONICS. So why buy from them. It took 6 weeks to send to the manufacturer and get a replacement. At our expense. Never purchase big items from this store.

Large selection of items, both food and not. Needs to have fresh cooked food ( hot snacks ), not McDs and a deli.Just like a multibillion dollar corporation, many self cash out registers. SMH

Our Ash Flat store has a nice layout. They offer both self checkout & cashier checkout. They are really improving on their plant-based product options. Beer & wine selection is fair. Good sporting goods & garden/ patio departments. I drive further to shop here because it isn't quite as crowded & easier to get in/ out, as opposed to my closest store. Friendly & helpful staff!Neat & tidy store!Edit: They have recently done a remodel... The store looks nice & tidy, good layout. I'm grateful the app has a location finder for product because they did some moving around of items. Downfall.... Only two manned checkout registers, all others are self-checkout. I had read recently that WM intended to do away with self-checkout in most of their locations because of thieving & shoplifting. & This store decides to go full blast self-checkout. Anyway, I still choose to use this WM location as opposed to stores that are closer to my residence.

For the size of this store, they do a good job of packing some options in there. I think my main suggestion would be for them to get their vendors to restock better. It’s nice to not have to drive out of town to get some options in groceries and sports equipment and tools and things.

Update: I do love the what they are doing trying to do with remodeling this tired old walmart store but the new checkout system is a COMPLETE NIGHTMARE!! Everything is backwards, not enough room for bagged groceries, at the very least, give us the turn table bagging system! What the heck are you people thinking?!!Walmart.....without a bakery or deli, which is sad for this area.

Friendly place to stop. Employees rounding up shopping carts were so friendly. Favorite stopping place for us. Great deals and you can always find pretty much whatever you need and sometimes, if you're really luck, you find something too cute walking from parking lot to store. Great place to shop!

I recommend avoiding this Walmart location if you want to ensure a positive shopping experience. There are certain employees, including the Store manager, behaving dishonestly and disrespectfully towards customers. It's best to consider alternative stores nearby that prioritize treating patrons with respect and honesty.

I am giving this a five star for the lady that helped me at self checkout. I wish I would've seen what her name was, I would guess her to be in her late 50s early 60s, she had glasses on. She was easily the BEST person I've ever seen working at Walmart! She was so kind and personable!

This Wal-Mart does not have a bakery or deli but is extremely clean with friendly staff. Great produce at good prices. Dairy and meats seem to be a little of the prices side. There is also a McDonald's inside with a smaller menu. Lots of checkouts open which is usually not the case for most Wal-Mart's. Everyone seems to really enjoy their job which is a sign of great management.

My go to for most but no meat. Convenient. Price changes but still same. Still Walmart. They want me to rate self checkout well my work is always good and they don't even pay me. Don't go to Ash Flat it is a mess!!! Horrible store

This is a whole new store. Remodeled, renewed, nothing is the same. NOTHING! I no longer know where any products are or where each department is. Even checkout is all screwed up.
