This is a family owned business. They take care of their customers and have knowledgeable sales help. Since they are a True Value affiliate they are very competitive on price and product selection. No reason to shop the box stores, try here first.

I was building a new construction house and bought my lumber package through Steve and Meadors Lumber Company.. A few comments about why I used them.1. Tim in the back will draw up your lumber material list for the build for free. This is hard to get places to do anymore because it requires a deep understanding of construction and takes quite a bit of time.2. The lumber price was just as competitive as many of the other major places I quoted (Sutherlands, Rons). Meadors might have been $2-300 more on a 30k lumber bill. Yet, out of all of the places I quoted with Tim was the only one that drew my plans up, and other places wanted his material list to quote it and wouldn't do it without it.3. They had the material in stock and if they didn't, they were able to get them in a timely manner.4. They were flexible with me as I made changes and returned things.Ultimately, I will purposely go out of my way to get the things I need from this store.

Great family run establishment that's all about pleasing the customer. They've had everything I've needed with a decent price and great quality. They've also got equipment rental as well! Will continue to shop here rather than other hardware stores!

If you like super high prices and limited products tham this is the place ! And the workers are always busy talking to each other.. zero customer service .. I normally say shop local but when the local company reams you on price and gives you zero customer service.. go to Lowes and save money and get no customer service.

According to my man (master carpenter) this place has the best lumber quality, sizing and pricing in the area. It is worth trying if you go anywhere at all, try this place.

If you need it, odds are they'll have it or can get it without you needing to drive 2 towns over. Prices are a little higher than big box retailers but not enough to get upset about.

They are just two convenient to be true. They are less than a mile from my house they have multiples of things to choose from. They are reasonable on their prices. And they are friendly to their customers!
