Be aware of what you buy. Make sure you inspect it thoroughly, as the meat dept. was a bit dissapointing. Avoided Wal-Mart, which is a good thing. Prices are still a bit high. Some things are by a lot, some just slightly. Overall, the store itself is fairly clean and organized.

Well-maintained and convenient store. They tend to have products I can’t find at other grocery stores. Have always had helpful workers and good bakery/deli items. The cookie cake was superb!

Small store, but have a better variety of items than a certain mega chain...just less of each. Prices are reasonable, and they have actual humans ready to check you out.

Very friendly/helpful staff. For reasons beyond me my debit card kept getting declined here. Was cherry cobbler for our Christmas dinner. A nice young man who worked there paid for it for me. Was blown away. Thank you so much.

It's just a lot easier to stop in here than Wal-Mart. Prices are a bit higher, so wouldn't want to go crazy, but if you're just picking up a few items it's good. Their meat and produce section is so much better than Walmart.

The employees are always kind and like to come to Harps in order to avoid the terrible Walmart crowds. I can't afford to do all my shopping there unfortunately, but if I could afford it I definitely would shop there more often. Love that I have options

The meat I bought at the bulk sale has been excellent. Tender and flavorful. The large shrimp- stuff with cheese and jalapeno- wrap in bacon and grill. Wonderful.

Harps on 74th st in Ft Smith and the Price Cutters in Van Buren have a much higher QUALITY OF MEATS AND FRESH PRODUCE. Theirs is an 8-9 out of 10 with Almas being a 1 out of 10 sad.

Extremely disappointed. I ordered a cake from Harps as tradition for the last 11 years for a special young man. The bakery worker asked when did I need it by and I requested as soon as possible today. She informed me she would start as soon as she was done with the current cake which was almost done. Two hours later....no cake, and no bakery worker. She went to lunch and hadn’t even started on the cake at all. Instead of getting what we wanted we had to chase someone down and just get one of the pre-done ones and have a quick message put on it. The end of a tradition.

I like harps because I'm helping the smaller grocery store instead of the conglomerate Walmart their prices are somewhat higher however staff is usually friendly except for the one new manager I encountered last year, he wasn't, but everybody else gives you the home town welcome. You can even suggest items for them to carry that they normally don't and they will try their best to get them.
