A really great vet! I went to another vet for 20+ years but the vet I went to retired. A family friend recommended Alma Animal Clinic - I have not been disappointed. Each vet is beyond wonderful. They all love their job and their patients. I always feel confident in their diagnosis. Pricing is good, also! I recommend!

We drive from the Fayetteville area to Alma for this vet. NOT ANYMORE!! We took two dogs in and one dog has a huge hard knot that he said was love handles. It's only on one side and very hard. Took him for a second opinion. It's way more serious than a love handle. Charged us $60 to do nothing more than send him home with the diagnosis that he's fat. Now we are out the $60 for the Alma vet and $80 for a vet in Fayetteville. I used to live in Alma and have used this vet for years.. even though the lady in the office is rude.

They have been there for us through two of the most difficult days of our lives and the compassion and understanding they have given made these times so much easier for our whole family. I'm not going to complain about there not being a doctor on-site at 730 a.m. when we were desperate to find care for our dog after she got attacked. About 15 minutes before they opened I was banging on the doors trying to get their attention. They completely ignored me. They could AT LEAST have come out and said the doctor won't be in until 8 am or something. The lack of compassion from these 2 young girls in the front window room laughing as I'm begging them to please open the door to help my sweet dog was devastating. The date was September 25th Monday. Thank God this is not my dog's vet. The only reason I went there first was they opened before the rest of the vets. I'm done. Hope this helps people who were sitting on the fence about this clinic

I went in with a fatally sick animal, the staff was the kindest most caring and compassionate group of people I’ve ever met. (If only human doctors and staff were this kind!) Tracy, Taylor, Dr. Price…. I might have lost a puppy but I gained a lot of knowledge and a new vet and team. I can’t thank you enough for being so kind and caring in such a terrible time. Thank you all from the bottom of our hearts.

Keep and bring your receipts. They lost my dog's records and insisted his return visit be a "new patient" again. They said he was in their computer, and even though I was trying to refill the Rx they prescribed and sold to me, they wouldn't let me book an appointment to refill without treating him as if he had never had any shots and paying the new patient fee again. If my dog is "new" to them every year, my illusions that my vet knows me and my animals is gone. The clerk refused to check with anyone else that worked there and adamantly denied finding a solution other than "there are plenty of vets in Fort Smith". So, while the vets we've seen here for dogs and goats seem knowledgeable, they've lost a farm for cheaping out on the help.

DO NOT GO HERE! They gave away my private information to others and apologised over and over to me but then REFUSED to compensate me in anyway for it. Because of their negligence, my families safety including my dog, was put at risk and has caused many issues for me going forward, because of that I had to get a lawyer involved and they STILL REFUSED to do the right thing. Horrible veterinary clinic that doesn’t put its patients first but puts their pocketbook first instead. Do not trust them. Do not go here.

We visited this clinic before we picked up our 8 week old Shih Tzu and found the office staff to be welcoming and very eager to help us with all of our questions.We have since visited Alma Animal Clinic three times for checkups and vaccinations. When we arrive we are always cheerfully greeted and one sweet lady named Kay is always eager to hold Brandy, our puppy. Today Brandy was very excited and tinkled on her and Kay was so gracious and loving continuing to hold Brandy and playing with her.Dr. Zac Phillips is a wonderful veterinarian who is patient and helpful in answering questions and explaining what he is doing.Nathaniel Lem, the technician is friendly, kind and considerate as he handles the pre-veterinarian details.My wife and I are happy to have found this wonderful place to care for our little Brandy. We highly recommend their services.

We have about 13 years of mixed experience with this office. Its never been pleasant dealing with the front desk, but we have always looked past it assuming our animals were being treated better than we were. Over the years the prices have absolutely gone through the roof and some of protocols have become quite arbitrary. We have switched vets for the better thankfully. Recently we did check back with Alma Animal Clinic to do a price comparison and we definitely made the correct decision. 60% more expensive for the same procedures, and the notoriously not so nice lady that works the phone is still just as sweet. There is a very nice vet not too far up the road that has a genuine affection to animals and people alike. I recommend you give her a look!

They got my dog in after an altercation with my other dog, super friendly people, and caring. The vet tech knew my little dog was nervous and she took her time with her. Dr. Phillips was very thorough and gentle. We’ve recently transferred all of our animals to their clinic.

I have to give a huge shout out to the people at Alma animal clinic. They were able to get me in for an emergency with my rabbit and he is doing so much better now. The girls were so caring and the doctor was knowledgeable and kind. Thank you all so much for what you do!

Absolutely the best, friendly service, and I like the fact that the doc's always take the time to really do a good assessment. Then explains the best course of care. I won't take my pets (babies) anywhere else. Great bunch of folks.
